County Durham prepared for the new year as well the rest of the world. The pack was getting ready to have party into new year's Day and everyone was running around trying to pitch in where they could. William and Connor were on decoration duty, they had to go to town to get the decorations Linda had ordered for. Brian, Ethan and Kent were setting the backyard and house up for the party while the ladies prepped the food and Eric made the sound system.
"Connor, I sure hope that you still have the address" William inquired.
"Yes it's write here in my pocket" Connor said as he put his hands into his pockets to bring it out.
"You see, right here" Connor said happily as he showed William the address card.
"Keep it safe Conno....." William said before a gust of wind blew the card out of his hand.
The two scrambled to get a hold of it before it got to the road but it was to late. It landed on the busy streets of County Durham and it got stuck to a car's tire. The two chased after the car as it sped off and William was sharp enough to snap the cars plate number before it sped off.
"Hey Connor, I'm gonna chase this car down with my bike you have to get a way to remember the address!" William exclaimed as he paddled after the car.
"Wait Will!" Connor cried before he took a bend and disappeared. Connor's battery had died on the way their so there was no way he could call the Linda.
He was now stranded and he didn't know their house phone number. He clinched his fists and held it over his head in anger as he screamed in his arms. He got his composure back together even though he scattered his hair and began to walk straight trying to remember the address name. Jews able to catch a glimpse of the first three letters so that gave him a clue. He began to run the names of shops that he had seen with those first three names. He hoped that William had better luck than him.
William paddled as fast as he could which resulted in him sweating. Sweating in winter, what a very, very, rare sight to see. He was able to get the vehicle in sight as he tried to flag it down but had no luck. He continued to chase it through the streets of County Durham almost getting hit about five times in such a short time as he got tunnel vision when he chased the vehicle. The driver obviously saw the young man chasing him but thought that the kid was just bugging him so he decided to try and lose him but William was consistent in tracking him. Will's hair waved backward and forward as he paddled after the blck speeding Toyota Camry SE.
After fifteen tiresome minutes, the car finally came to a halt with the driver emerging. William gradually rode up to the huge six foot tall man with a grey willy sweater, a black coat, blue jeans, brown shoes and brown cloth cap. William got of his bike with his all black dressing which consisted of a black fur jacket with a hood, black shirt and sweater, black smart pants and black trainers.
"Yes, yes, why have you been chasing me around town?" The man asked with a deep husky voice and a thick British accent.
"An... address card....stuck to...tire...." William said panting.
"Oh, you can come take it off The man said as he gestured to his tires.
"Thank...you'd William said as he wheezed of his bike and peeled the card of the tire and was only able to get the last half of the address.
Once he was done the man drove off leaving a frustrated William behind. He had to start thinking of shops that ended with those four words. He hoped and prayed to God in Heaven that Connor was having better luck than him. He took out his phone and was about to call Connor but his battery was to low to make the call. He started thinking of where Connor would be or where he would head too. He got on his bike and started to think of what Connor would do.

"Don't you think that William and Connor should be back by now?" Keisha asked concerned.
"Yeah, they should be. I wonder what's keeping them this long" Kent replied also with concern.
"Well whatever it is, they should hurry up and get back quickly. They're holding up the other preparations" Brian commented angrily.
"Yeah, but I have a feeling that they'll be back soon" Keisha added.
Connor had gone to five shops already but with no order from Linda Gatwick. His clothes began to feel uncomfortable as he walked up and down looking for the shop Linda had placed her order. He also began to sweat slowly as he walked. He hoped that William had gotten the address and picked the decorations up. He walked into the next shop and inquired for Linda's order. Even if William got the decor, how would they meet up? They've gotten themselves into a very tight situation. William on the other hand had gone to ten different shops looking for Linda's order but no luck. It was very had for him to try and put the pieces of the puzzles together but he managed as best as he could. He was smart but not as smart as Connor.

Everyone was worried that Will and Connor weren't back yet and they tried to get through to them but Connor's phone was at their house and William's line wasn't going through. Keisha was panicking more than everyone else while Brian was handling it like a man. He didn't show that he was scared at all and everyone thought that he didn't care that his brother was missing. They had to keep calm and hope for the best as the two continued to roam the streets. They two were at dead ends and with know where to turn, they gave up. They couldn't communicate or even get each others location so the two decided unanimously without even being together and headed over to the ventral park. William walked while pushing his bike as Connor walked lazily to a bench. The two walked with their head down as they passed eachother on the concrete path in the park. After five steps they both stopped, turned around and recognized eachother. They ran and hugged eachother after being apart for so long wondering around all day.
"I never thought I'd have to say this in a situation like his but I'm glad to see you again" William said with a relived tone.
"Same here" Connor replied with a long sigh.
"How has your search been going?" William asked.
"Absolutely nowhere. I was hoping that you'd have more luck than me" Connor said with a light chuckle.
"Nope, I was only able to get the last half of the name of the shop" William said defeated.
"Wow, that's really weird cuz I only got the first three letters of the shops name" Connor said with excitement.
"That means if we combine the halves that we have we would finally get the shops name" William said with a joyful grin.
"Yes, let's do this" Connor said.
"Aredenjer's decor" the both exclaimed happily.
William brought out the damaged address card and was able to make out the street written on it. They both thanked God that the address card had the shops name on it and that was the part that was heavily damaged because if it was the address, they would've given up a long time ago.

"And where are you two coming from?" Keisha asked authoritatively.
"Long story, you should be glad that we even came back home at this time" William said as he and Connor handed the decor to Keisha and walked up to rest.
They had their baths and slept until it was time for the party cuz of how tired they were. They came down to meet everyone happy and cheerful as they exchanged pleasantries, cracked jokes and laughed all night long.

The party kept on going to almost midnight and the countdown was about to start.
"I hope you'll tell me why you and Connor came back so latex Keisha inquired.
"Yh, I'll tell you, next year" William said cracking a new year joke.
"Oh please save me the jokes" Keisha said giving him a gentle push.
"5...4....3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!" they all exclaimed as people hugged, clanked their glasses together and the married couples did whatever they did before fire works were shot into the sky. The entire city was happy and joyful and so was the pack. This year was going to be a very good one for the pack, they got the forest back, they had increased in size, everything was suddenly looking better for them.
With all the celebrations going on, Keisha pulled William to herself and gave him a long kiss. All but Brian, Connor and Ethan saw as they had a good view of everything. Brian and Connor always had a way of being in the right place at the right time when things like that happened. When they were done, she casually walked away to wish the other pack members happy new year leaving William dumbfounded. He stood there surprised and shocked while the three mischievous boys giggled and laughed in the background. Will turned to them as they giggled before bullying Connor to talk. The year was off to a great start for them with laughter and smiles, things had never been this good for them in a long time.
