One Last Charge

The past two weeks have been eventful with Eric, Brody, Janet and Brent training the reinforcements that have arrived. Brody and Janet weren't lucky in getting anyone to join with the pack they went busy with their own problems. Eric and Linda were able to get six more wolves to help out and combined with the small pack of four, that was ten extra wolves. In total, there now twenty one strong, they couldn't take any chances with those vampires knowing that they'll show up for an all out invasion. Training was ten hours a day, tactics were perfected, plans and contingencies were implemented if anything failed and a patrol was constant, they made sure that no vampire would enter their side of the woods and know what they're planning. Away from the battle, things have also been happening within the pack. Mary had responded to Will's request and wanted to talk to Connor about what happened so the beta organised a meet for them within the forest and would watch them both alongside Brian and Keisha.

"Be confident, back straight, no slouching, be bold and talk to her like you do to any of your friends" William told his friend who was as nervous as ever.

"I'll try my best but what if it was all a mistake and stuff, what if she rejects me" A shaky Connor said.

"Then you roll with it, a person is sure to accept you some day"

"Just because one person says no doesn't mean that they're everyone else is bound to say no, there are over a million girls in the UK that would be lucky to date a guy like you"

"Well said bruv"

The two pounded their fists before William ran into the bushes and circled back to watch Connor and Mary. Mary walked out of the bushes to meet Connor staring into the trees below.

"Hi Connor" she said walking up to him and standing next to him.

"Hi Mary" he replied with a quick glance try to control his nervousness.

"Beautiful day isn't it"

"It is" he answered still looking into the trees.

"We both know why we're here, to get rid of the tension between us and I've come to a decision" she said wrapping her arm around his.

"Well it's not like I'm forcing you or anything but how would you feel if we got got together or something" Mary said with a gentle voice and putting her head down.

"Like a relationship?" He said obviously excited.

"Yeah something like that"

"Yes, why not, I mean anybody would be........" Connor started yapping and she had to shut him up.

She pulled him and kisses him and that did the trick and he finally shut up.

"You talk too much" she said putting her finger on his lips.

"See you later boo" she said be fore walking back to the cover of the trees.

"Yeah, see you later" he said with a shocked and confused voice.

She disappeared with the cover of the bushes and Connor started jumping with joy and doing what I think is his history dance. He was carried away with it oblivious to his friends that watched from the bushes. They quietly withdrew and went back to the house to wait for him to show up.

Soon am overjoyed Connor showed up and narrated to them what had happened but Keisha broke the news to him that the three had know about what had happened cuz they were there the whole time. He was stunned at first then exploded with anger but Keisha remarked that they might need Mary again to shut him up and the other boys laughed as Connor turned red and stormed out of the house. Keisha tried to chasing him down and apologize for the joke while the other two laughed. Will got carried away when Brian decided to give him his own fair share.

"Will why are you laughing?" Brian asked.

"What do you mean?" William asked slowly phasing out his laugh.

"You're sitting down here laughing at Connor when you've forgotten that you have your personal babysitter that takes care of you and teaches you manners the hard" Brian spoke before bursting out with laughter.

"Come on man" Will said standing up and walking away a bit pissed off.

Final preparations were made as they prepared for battle against the vampires and soon trooped to the forest for their final fight. A date was set for them to settle this once and for all and for the wolves it was an all or nothing grudge match having lost their a core member and were about to lose their forest. Eric gathered all of them at the back of the house to give his wolves a final charge before they depart for battle.

"My fellow wolves, we know how important today is" Eric addressed them still in human form.

"We've lost one of our own and we all know how dear she was to us. We've been through thick and thin and still held ourselves together as a pack and to those that have joined us in this battle, you will forever be remembered in this historic battle for all eternity" Eric said nodding to them.

"We have a common enemy to defeat and we will do so by working as a team, fighting as one, putting away our differences for the sake of humanity and all the other packs out there. We cannot let them take this forest or lose the rest of this city to the vampires. We shall accomplish the task we were given by inheriting this power from our ancestors and together, we shall win. Who's ready to follow me to battle?!"

"I am!" Brent shouted.

"Who's ready to put their life on the line and crush those cockroaches?!!"

"I am" William and Brian shouted as well.

"Who's ready to have their names written down in the Hamsterly books of legends as the ones who fought against them when they came running?!"

"I am" the whole Hamsterly pack answered.

"Or the ones who held their ground against them and never gave up?!"

"I am" they all answered.

"I can't here you?!"

"I AM!!!!" They all screamed on the top of their voices.

"THEN LET'S GET OUT THEIR AND RAIN DOWN SOME CARNAGE!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed showing veins from his neck.

With a loud roar from the others thanks to the Optimus Prime type of speech given to them, their moral was through the roof and was ready to lay down their lives for the sake of humanity, pack and forest. They ran to the bushes behind the house and leaped into it and transformed into their wolf forms and ran to the vampire part of the woods with Eric leading them. They arrived the border they shared hiding the reinforcements that they had for a surprise attack. The vampires also walked out of the cover of trees unveiling their true meetings

"So the wolves have returned to get their ass beaten again. They even came out numbered, this is going to be as easy as ever" Rex said with excitement.

"Don't underestimate us just yet" Eric said resorting to his human form.

"Why is that we are fifty strong and your just ten" Vladimir said.

"That's what you think, wolves, PREPARE, FOR, SLAUGHTER!!!!!" Eric announced making the wolves bark, howl and snarl.

"Vampires, PREPARE, TO, FEAST" Vladimir shouted with his own men chanting, calling and roaring.

Eric went back to his wolf form and went back to his wolves as they started trotting towards the vampires and they also started to jog. Soon the wolves were running and so were the vampires before Eric howled and the others appeared, five from each side and ran towards the vampires who were surprised at their appearance and their presence could help turn the tide of war. They clashed like titans with heads already flying from the vampires with the wolves fighting tooth and claw no matter what means but they just wanted to end them once and for all. Vladimir and nine other pure bloods stood back and watched though Tasha was eager to get out and fight. They would rather pick out their targets than going in blindly like the others. So the final nettle between the Werewolves and Vampires had begun for the last time during their century, hopefully.
