After securely storing the Pokeball, Adrian looked around himself to notice the changes in the surroundings.
The thunderclouds had somewhat calmed down, though a few discharges were observable from time to time.
The sky had turned from pitch black to grey in color and the winds blowing had slowed down a lot too.
Adrian shivered as he remembered the tyranny of the legendary Pokemon.
(...oh fuck! Thank God my brain functioned at it's top capacity. Otherwise...I dare not imagine...)
While he contemplated by himself, the system notification rang in his mind.
Unlike the wall of text before, it was voice prompts now.
Even the tone of the voice was not cold and mechanical, but it was soft and soothing to hear.
Adrian felt like hearing the voice a bit more, so he began to ask some questions.
[No, I am fine. Umm... what happened to the system before? It wasn't like this before, right?]
Adrian face palmed himself mentally, as he could somehow decipher that he was dealing with an AI somehow.
He regained his calm and asked again,
[So, I was wondering something. Where are my Grimer and Clefairy? I can't sense them at all.]
Adrian stood still in shock!
POKEMON CENTER Function? Does that mean instant healing of his Pokemon from now on?!
(...calm down Adrian!.. hu..breathe...this system seems pretty friendly...doesn't that mean that I can exploit it?...)
Adrian's bad behavior started to kick in, as he tried to test the limits of the system's generosity.
[System, I was thinking that.. I nearly died in the other world. It would be too much if I die like that right?]
[Yes, Yes. I was thinking the same too, but the items I collected were with my subordinate and I have nothing on me.]
[How I wish I had a means of getting the items when I needed them the most...]
Adrian became very excited at that moment. He had successfully duped the innocent system into believing his craptalk.

At that moment, a table appeared in front of Adrian, as he rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

Adrian was having a hard time believing what he was seeing.

Adrian was feeling very angry, but calmed himself down quickly.
(...it's not worth it to blow up right here...this system seems to be very moody! If it became angry somehow...I don't even want to imagine that!...)
(...I have the Coupons anyway, let's just use them when I need. The Pokemon could be recovered with the POKEMON CENTRE function. I can use those items on myself!...)

Adrian made a troubled expression, as he spoke to himself,
[I am so lucky to have such a great system! But... what if I lost those items again.. hah...]
Adrian hoped to milk all benefits out at early stage to avoid suffering later. He patiently awaited what the system would end up deciding.
Adrian made a guts pose inside his mind, as he cheered on for his future.
(...wuhahahaha! I can store anything I want! Smuggling and Theft would become so much easier! And nobody would be able to take my wealth away~ This fuckin ROCKS!!...)
Adrian tried to mask his happiness as he made a solemn face and spoke,
[Alright, I feel much safer now. Thanks System. Now, let's LOG OUT and go to the other world. It's time for payback!]
Adrian's figure disappeared from the place, as the thunderclouds settled down.
The battle begins now.
