Chapter 14 - Team Rocket and Articuno
Pitter-Pitter! Pitter-Pitter!
The rain started, millions of water drops began to fell from the sky. Itsuki oddly started to feel cold for some reason. He also noticed that Zera and his other Pokémons was feeling the same.

"Why it is getting so cold all of sudden?"
Arrr!
Itsuki and his Pokémons looked at their surrounding when they heard the Pokémons screaming sound. The screaming sound was very loud.

"Look up" Itsuki's eyes fell on a ground shadow, more precisely a blue bird.
"What the hell is that?" Itsuki the next moment saw that the rain drops now had turned into snow and it was actually snowing.

"Is it….
Itsuki wasn't sure but he already had guessed what this Pokémon was.
The next moment, Itsuki a saw 2 meters big shadow falling in front of them.

Itsuki and his Pokémon were in their guard and ready attack. But the next moment Itsuki again heard a voice.
"Arti..! The voice was filled with pain, like it was suffering.

When the smoke cleared, all of Itsuki doubts were cleared. Yes, this Pokémon was the legendary Pokémon Articuno.
Articuno is a large avian Pokémon with predominantly sky blue plumage and wings said to be made of ice. On its forehead is a crest that consists of three, darker blue rhombus-shaped feathers.

Articuno lied on the ground weakly and couldn't even raise its head. Before Itsuki could think of anything, he heard a voice along with several heavy footsteps.
"Sir, We have managed to serious injure Articuno. Articuno is seriously injured, we can capture Articuno now. Sir, Requesting permission to capture Articuno."

Itsuki saw and heard the fat man's voice tensed up. Itsuki saw that old and familiar R symbol on their black clothes.
"Team Rocket" Itsuki's eyes was filled with hatred. Itsuki noticed that his Dragonair also very angry and ready to attack any time.

The fat man with green hair looked at Articuno with a creepy smiled and said. "Prepare the special cage. We are capturing Articuno today."
The fat man was walking with 3 man and 2 women, all of them was wearing black clothes.

Articuno!
Articuno looked at the in front of her humans with hatred. She was quietly sleeping in her home but this greedily humans attacked her.
Hehe! The fat man gave Articuno a creepy smiled and stood in front Articuno with a arrogant look.
Itsuki didn't hold himself any longer, seeing another innocent and legendary Pokémon falling in the hands of Team rocket.

"Zera use Focus blast, Eevee use Flamethrower, Dragonair use Twister." Itsuki hurriedly put his Magikarp in his Pokémon as Magikarp was too weak to fight team rocket.
Hearing Itsuki's voice, Articuno and the team rocket looked at Itsuki's direction.
"Quickly defend yourself." The fat man wasn't even unable to finish his words when he was hit with a blue sphere ball which sent him flying.

Eevee then used her flamethrower on the rest of the team rocket members while Dragonair who already looked very angry without holding back used Twister and summoned a huge storm. Itsuki have never seen his Dragonair so angry before.

Seeing the twister had distracted all the Pokémons and team rocket members, Itsuki used this chance.
"Zeraora, Use grass knot to trap everyone" Zera nodded,

"Who the fuck dared to attack us?" one of the male complained and rubbed his eyes because due to the wind something had entered his eyes.
But suddenly he felt his body was being locked with rope but stronger than rope.

Plant roots had binded everyone Pokémons and team rocket's body.
"Quickly try to free yourself." The fat man glared at Itsuki. This man had destroyed their perfect plan to capture Articuno.
"Requesting for backup. I repeat, requesting for emergency backup. We have been attacked by a trainer."

Itsuki hearing the fat man calling for backup almost exploded in anger. Itsuki knew he was only able to defeat this group because of surprise element.
"I can't defeat their back up team. There must be multiple squads coming for backup." Itsuki knew once the backup team comes, then it will over for them. The team rocket will capture his pokemons and kill him.

"But before that I want to silence this fatty. Zera use Wild charge combined with Volt tackle on this fatty." Itsuki was sure an attack of this caliber would definitely kill this fatty and crush his bones. But Itsuki did not care; if he had time then he would have killed others already.

Itsuki approached Articuno and kneeled down to meet his eyes. Itsuki could feel Articuno was cautious of him. But Itsuki also felt deep hatred for team rocket.
"Articuno I know that you hate those people and want revenge." Articuno nodded its head. Articuno for some reason felt comfortable around Itsuki and let her guard down.

"My Dragonair was captured by those people and we also have deep hatred for team rocket. Not just Dragonair, many pokemons and humans are suffering because of Team Rocket." Articuno looked at Dragonair and saw the hatred and cold eyes of Dragonair.

"You are seriously injured right now and cannot fight those people now and I can't fight their backup groups either. So how about you enter this great ball and we escape from here. I promise I don't mean to cage you. I promise to set you free once your are recovered. The we can take revenge on Team rocket together."

Articuno looked the most sincere expression it had seen on a human so it decided to trust Itsuki.
Seeing Articuno nodding, Itsuki used the great ball to catch Articuno.
Articuno's whole body glowed in red light and sucked into the great ball.

Seeing Articuno getting caught by this boy, all of the team rockets members glared at Itsuki. The underlings long forgot about their dead fat boss.
"You bastard give our Articuno back." One of the team rocket member yelled.
"Our Articuno? When did the legendary bird of Kanto become team rocket's? The next time I meet you, I will kill you all." Itsuki glared at the team rocket members.

Itsuki then called all his Pokémons inside his Pokeball, except for Dragonair.
After sitting on Dragonair's back, Itsuki looked at the team rocket with a victory smile and flew away.
"This time I win. Don't worry, this is just the starting. There will be more in future. Your leader will never rest in peace." The team rocket angry glared at Itsuki. They never have been insulted like this before.

"Hurry up and call for more backups. We have to search for them before they get out of this forest." After their boss died another team rocket member assumed the position of leader and started giving orders.
"But first we have to free ourselves."

Itsuki could have given Articuno super healing potions but Itsuki didn't.
'Even with Super healing potion, it would take Articuno at least 5 to 10 minutes before it could heal.' Itsuki just couldn't risk his and his Pokémons lives by waiting for Articuno to heal.

"I am sure Team rockets backup team will have something that is capable enough to even injure Articuno. If something or some Pokémon has the power to injure legendary Pokémon Articuno then my currently Pokémons have zero chance of winning against team rocket."

Flying on Dragonair's back Itsuki began to head towards opposite direction of Celadon city.
"Right now I can't afford to go into cities that already has team rocket base in it. I am sure right now team rocket would definitely try to search me. Celadon city is one of those cities that are heavily influenced by team rocket." Itsuki remembers that Celadon city also had a team rocket base in it.

"Right now, I should head towards a city that does not has any influence or less influenced by team rocket." Itsuki wanted to go to cities which he hasn't visited before and wanted to get his remaining 5 badges.

"So right now the city which matches with my preference is Cinnabar Island. I challenge the Cinnabar Island gym there and also spend time training my Pokémon without worrying about team rocket." Itsuki now had another important reason to get stronger. Itsuki knew that if he wants to go against Team rocket then first he must make his Pokémons very strong.

"System, which direction will take us towards Cinnabar Island?"
[Host needs to go in south direction. It hosts current speed; it would take host 6 hours before he reaches the seaport and another 1 and half day before Host reaches, Cinnabar Island.] Itsuki nodded and felt that going to Cinnabar Island is the right choice.
