Chapter 115 - Indigo League; Itsuki vs Gary V

The lightning dragon hit Incineroar and Incineroar was able to overcome the damage of lightning blast.
Incineroar stopped spinning and charged at Zeraora. "Go for Mega kick."
"Zeraora use Plasma fist."
In a second or so, Incineroar covered the 5 merers space and was in front of Zeraora.

Time seems to have stopped as both Zeraora and Incineroar looked at each other eyes. Zeraora looked like she couldn't wait to kill Incineroar while Incineroar eyes were full of fighting spirit. Incineroar had finally found a worthy opponent and he wanted to go all out in this fight.

Incineroar raised his left leg as his leg became covered in red light energy. Incineroar kick was aimed towards Zeraora's neck area.
At the same time, blue lightning gathered on Zeraora's fists which doubled the size of her fists.
Zeraora eyes were locked on Incineroar. Seeing Incineroar kick coming at her, Zeraora moved her right leg and changed a position to Incineroar's right side and managed to dodge the mega kick in time.

As Incineroar was about to put his left leg on the ground after failing to hit Zeraora, the mythical Pokémon took this chance and landed a left punch on Incineroar's wounded and bleeding chest.

The blood of Incineroar conducted electricity from Zeraora's punch as a result Incineroar not only felt pain and electric shock both at the same time.

Incineroar took few steps back because of the pain and shock. Itsuki capitalized this chance and ordered Zeraora to perform another move.
"Lightning Aura sword"
Everyone became confused my the strange move name that Itsuki just said. The crowd's confusion only lasted for a second as the next second Zeraora appeared in front of Incineroar who was still groaning in pain.

The Katana in Zeraora's hand was also covered in blue lightning. Incineroar eyes widened seeing the sharp sword which was made out of energy slashing his chest.
Gary panicked and shouted at Incineroar in desperate tone. "Incineroar look..." Gary wasn't even able to finish his words as he heard a bang sound and the next moment Incineroar was lying on the ground

Incineroar lied behind Zeraora. The Katana in Zeraora's hand was covered in fresh blood; dark red blood was dripping from the sword.
"Incineroar."
Incineroar lied on the ground without moving.
[Could it be that Incineroar is finally.....] Commentator Jerry's words were cut off as Incineroar suddenly got and and hit Zeraora with a mega kick. Incineroar did the whole thing so fast that even Zeraora wasn't able to react in time.

Zeraora was sent flying more than 20 meters. Zeraora crushed on the crater edge as the ground beneath her cracked into pieces.

Zeraora wiped the blood with her palm as she stood up like nothing happened.

Seeing Zeraora doing fine, Itsuki sighed in relief. 'The blue lightning around Zeraora has multiple functions. The blue lightning enhances Zeraora's strength and speed to certain extent. While the lightning itself acts as a defensive shield around Zeraora. If Incineroar wasn't injured then Zeraora would have taken more damage.' Itsuki thought.

Incineroar was breathing heavily. He looked like he would faint at any moment. The wound on his body, the flesh which was dripping blood on the ground seems to have not effect Incineroar at all.
Seeing the miserable state Incineroar was in and the iron will to defeat his opponent, everyone in the stadium couldn't help but clap for Incineroar.

"You have my respect." Itsuki muttered as he ordered Zeraora for the last attack.
"Lightning blast." Itsuki softly said as he looked at Incineroar who was trembling to even keep standing. As time passed his condition got even more worse.
Gary smiled bitterly as he wasn't willing to let his mid 5th order Pokémon lose to a Peak 4th order Pokémon. But what can he do? Incineroar was struggling to even stand; forget about even attacking.

Seeing the blue lightning blast coming at him, Incineroar tried his best to move his body. But he couldn't move his body no matter how much he tried.
Itsuki clearly see the unwillingness to lose this battle. This only increased the level of respect Itsuki had for this Pokémon.

The audience turned silent. The commentators turned silent. The supporters of Gary turned silent. Everyone watched as the
the lightning blast squeezed out the last bit remaining consciousness of Incineroar and finally Incineroar fall on the ground.

"Incineroar is unable to continue." The referee's words broke the ice and caused a tsunami of cheers to shake the stadium. Gary was feeling bitter despite getting so much cheers as he was one who had lost. Gary had lost to a Peak 4th order Pokémon which was extremely humiliating to him.

[ Itsuki has done it. The young man no... the young genius have done it. In the history of Indigo League, Itsuki is the very first trainer to defeat a Mid 5th order Pokémon with only Peak 4th order Pokémon. This is simply magical. The work of a G.O.A.T [Greatest of all time.]

Itsuki's name was heard all over the stadium. Fans were loudly cheering for Itsuki.
"Now as long as Itsuki manages to knock Gary's Blastoise out, Itsuki will win this round." Cynthia and everyone was very happy. Except for few people.

Everyone became confused when Gary suddenly chose already injured and exhausted Magmar. Everyone was expecting Gary to use Blastoise against Itsuki's Zeraora.

Gary's face turned ugly when he saw Itsuki recalling Zeraora.
[Itsuki also has chosen to recall his Zeraora. I think Itsuki is reserving Zeraora for Gary's Blastoise. Zeraora is a electric type and will have natural type advantage against Gary's water type Blastoise.]

Itsuki recalled Zeraora because he wanted to preserve her strength for the final battle while also give chances to his other Pokémon.
"Itsuki now that you have recalled your Zeraora which Pokémon of yours will able to defeat me? We all know that you only have one 5th order and another Peak 4th order Pokémon. Without your Zeraora you can never defeat my Magmar." Gary was hoping that his mocking words would work and Itsuki would take out his Zeraora again.

Itsuki couldn't help but smile after hearing Gary's words.
"Gary I never told anyone that I was only depending on two Pokémon to win the Indigo League. It's you and some people who had mistakenly assumed that my strongest two Pokémon were Zeraora and Dragonite." Itsuki said as he took out another Pokeball.

The presence of another strong Pokémon descended on the battlefield. Magmar who was already exhausted felt the pressure of another 5th order Pokémon.
Seeing Lucario everyone was little shocked. Everyone thought Itsuki only had Zeraora and Dragonite as Itsuki's strong Pokémon and mistakenly assumed that other Pokemon were below Peak 4th order.

[It's a 5th order Lucario. Awesome. Itsuki had hid it so well. Before we all were wrongly assuming Itsuki to have only two strong Pokémon but now it seems we were wrong. Now with another 5th order Pokémon the chances of Itsuki winning this round have increased significantly.] At this point Jerry and Michael had taken two sides of a coin.

"So Riolu have grown up." Cynthia couldn't help but smile as she remembered about the time when Itsuki and she went to Rota, Cameron Palace to learn Aura.
The other girls saw and heard Cynthia's smile and words. "You know about Itsuki's Lucario?" Serena asked.
Others sitting in the room also turned to look at Cynthia.

"Yes, Itsuki and I went to search for few specific Pokémon. On our way we met Riolu. Itsuki took Riolu in. Just about a month and half ago Riolu was not even a 4th order Pokémon. I can't even began to imagine the amount of hsrd work Itsuki have put in training his Pokemon." Cynthia have seen how hard Itsuki trains his Pokemon.
While Cynthia lost in her past memories, everyone was curious to know more about Lucario story.
