Chapter 137 - Indigo League Championship winner is [II]
"Garchomp mud shot." Garchomp took a deep breath and then released a spiral of mud from his mouth towards Zeraora.
"Zeraora Aura sphere" A dark blue spiral sphere formed between Zeraora's palms. She threw the dark blue sphere towards the mud shot. Both of their attacks clashed and ended with a small explosion.
The atmosphere of the battlefield was starting to heat up. Both Cynthia and Itsuki was testing the water before jumping into it.

"Garchomp dragon claw." Garchomp flapped his wings to fly as green claws made out of energy covered his claws. "Zeraora full power plasma fist." Zeraora began to circulate her Aura in her palms.
Purple lightning began to cover Zeraora's palms as she also charged at Garchomp, using all of her speed. Currently both Itsuki and Zeraora knew that level 46 Garchomp was too much for them. Zeraora had no choice but to use her Aura to strengthen her attacks and enhance her speed.

Both Pokemon's attacks clashed. The attacks ended with Zeraora being pushed back while Garchomp looking mighty and dominating.
'Even after using her Aura to the maximum, Zeraora is still being pushed back.' Itsuki began to get worried. Itsuki never believed that his Zeraora would be strong enough to defeat Garchomp, that's why he wanted to use his other Pokemon to at least exhaust Garchomp before his fight with Zeraora began. But unfortunately, due to some careless mistakes from Itsuki's side that plan failed.

"Garchomp Dragon breath." Garchomp again took a deep breath and fired a beam of spiraling blue energy towards Zeraora. Before Garchomp launched the attack, Itsuki hurriedly ordered his Pokemon to dodge.
"Dodge." Zeraora did as Itsuki told her and moved out of the way at the very last moment. The attack speed was so fast that she barely dodged it. If she was even one second late, then the attack would had hit her.

"Garchomp attacking speed is even faster than his actual speed. If we are careless, then one attack might cause us to lose the championship League. Zeraora use grass knot." 1 meter thick green roots started emerge from the ground and tried to bind Garchomp body.
"Garchomp quickly fly up in the air." Just when the root touched Garchomp left feet, Garchomp shot towards the sky leaving a trail of dust behind.

At that moment the realization stuck Cynthia in horror. Cynthia realized Itsuki had use the last attack as a bait which she fell for. Cynthia still clearly remembers how frightening the attack was. "Garchomp, come do....Booom!" Cynthia couldn't even finish her words. WIth a mighty roar the dark blue lightning struck Garchomp and sent him flying.

Garchomp crushed on the ground. The ground surrounding Garchomp shattered into a millions of pieces. The nine hundred thousand people and the millions of people watching the Indigo League felt shocked. This was the first time, everyone had seen Garchomp get hit with an attack and also get injured. After seeing how mighty and powerful Garchomp was, some people even started to believe that Garchomp was invincible and would crush Zeraora like he did with others.

Seeing Garchomp bleed, everyone realized just how powerful the lightning attack was. The attack itself had the power to seriously injure a level 46 Pokemon.

Zeraora knows that against Garchomp, an attack without enhanced by Aura wouldn't even scratch him. Every time she used an move, she would use large amount of her Aura to increase her attack powers.
And that lightning strike took more than 90 percent of her Aura reserve. This might was the strongest attack that she had ever executed. And Right now, she barely had enough Aura to even function.

"Zeraora you okay?" Itsuki asked with a look of concern. Itsuki has never seen Zeraora look so pale and tired. After since Itsuki started his journey, he had countless battles with trainers, gym leaders and wild Pokemon. In those times, Zerora always crushed her opponent and managed to secure Itsuki's victory. But today Itsuki knew that Zeraora's undefeated record would be broken. As much as Itsuki's hates to admit it, there is nothing that he could do.

Zeraora condition looks even worse than Garchomp. Even without bleeding so looked like someone who could pass out anytime.
"Zeraora you okay?" Itsuki asked again when he saw Zeraora not replying. After few seconds, Zeraora turned to Itsuki and nodded her head with a tired smile.

Seeing the determined look on her face, Itsuki felt someone crushing his heart from inside. Itsuki started to feel suffocated. 'If only I hadn't made that mistake at the beginning of our fight. Then I am sure, with Dragonite help winning this fight would have been much easier for Zeraora. If only I hadn't made those mistakes.'

"Garchomp use....BOOM!" A loud explosion sound interrupted Cynthia. Itsuki as if sensing something he raised his head and looked up. "Look at the sky" Everyone looked at the sky, only to find more than 30 humans sitting on a flying vehicle which looked like a motorbike .

"What is going on?" For a moment everyone except for Itsuki looked confused. Itsuki who had his enhanced vision due to Aura could clearly see the red 'R' symbol on their black clothes.

At that moment continuous small explosion to began to take place all over the stadium. For a moment the entire stadium was covered in black smoke. Itsuki turned his head and only to see the all police officers, members of Association and Joy clan nurses captured along with their Pokemon. Their hands and feets were cuffed with a black chains.

"Hahaha! those fools didn't even realize." While pointing their guns towards the captured police officers the team rocket members started to remove their disguises.
"What's happening?" Lance and Lorelei couldn't believe in what they were seeing. Team rocket is the biggest criminal organization of Kanto region. Months ago, certain someone leaked information on the Rocket organization. After that, under elite four orders all the police and detectives of Kanto was dispatched to find the leader of team rocket.

But all the members of team rocket went into hiding and even after two months of searching the police couldn't even find any information regarding the leader of team rocket. The elite four had to put their focus on preparing for the Indigo League which gave team rocket an opportunity to attack.
"Lorelei, look up." Standing at the middle, wearing white suit, he was known as the Viridian City gym leader. But now even a idiot can tell that Giovanni was the leader of team rocket. Seeing this both Lance and Lorelei felt their bodies stiffen in shock. Their faces turned pale.

The rocket gang leader was right under their noses and they had no idea about it. What's more all of their secret missions to capture elite members of rocket gang failed because Giovanni knew about their plans.

Lance, Lorelei, and all the gym leaders was shocked by Giovanni's words. Itsuki must have some kind of history with the leader of team rocket.

At this moment everyone in the stadium was trying to escape. No one dared to stop and listen to Giovanni's words.
"Let's escape." The people madly ran here and there. The whole stadium was in chaos. All the officials was either captured or drugged. The situation was completely out of Kanto Association's hand.

"Giovanni, Articuno was never your Pokemon. You just wanted to do experiment on her. If you think you can make me submit just by showing up with your subordinates then you're wrong." Itsuki after saying that quickly recalled his Zeraora back to the pokeball. Zera was already exhausted and won't able to help Itsuki in this situation.
Giovanni didn't looked offended by Itsuki's words instead he smiled as he took out a Black Pokeball. "Itsuki, I like your boldness. But what would you do if I were to kill your parents. I know where your parents are."

Itsuki eyes flashed in cold light. "If you dare to put your hands on my parents, then I swear I will give you the most miserable death in human history." After saying that Itsuki no longer suppressed his killing intent.
