Chapter 139 - Sabrina in action

"I am fine. Thank you Itsuki for saving me." Before today, Itsuki has never seen Cynthia look so vulnerable.

Itsuki could feel the walls shake due to the explosions that were taking place at the battleground. "Cynthia, please wait here." Itsuki gently removed her hands from his neck and placed her head against the wall. Just when Itsuki was about to leave, Cynthia grabbed his right hand and asked with a pale face. "Where are you going?"

"I have to stop this otherwise people will get hurt. That thing is current a monster. If someone doesn't stops it, then many people will lose their lives from its attacks." Cynthia still didn't let go. "But you're nowhere near stronger enough to fight that Pokemon. Let the elite four deal with this. I am sure they will find some ways. It's too dangerous too for you. You might even die if you try to fight it. I am not letting you go."

Sigh!

Itsuki put his one knee on the ground and looked at her eyes. "I promise nothing will happen to me. Beside I still have Articuno with me. I am sure with Articuno and elite four's help, I will able to stop Mewtwo. Trust me." Cynthia with a reluctant look let Itsuki go.

"Lorelei, this Pokemon is too strong. I don't think we will able to hold on for much longer." Land and Lorelei were under pressure. It next few minutes, their Pokemon will fall from exhaustion and injuries.

"ice beam." Out of nowhere a ice beam hit Mewtwo which sent her flying. Both Lance and Lorelei looked back in shock. "Lance, that.....that's...a legendary Pokemon, Articuno."

"Never thought we would see another legendary Pokemon today." Under Lance and Lorelei shocked and surprised gazes, Itsuki walked back to the battlefield.

"Giovanni had made Mewtwo wear that helmet so that he can control him. But now that Giovanni has died, Mewtwo has gone berserk. We somehow have to remove or destroy that helmet." Lance and Lorelei wanted to ask, how Itsuki knows all of this and how he has a legendary Pokemon. "Here it comes." Suppressing the questions in their heart, both Lance and Lorelei ordered their Pokemon to attack.

Mewtwo looked enraged and more angry than before. She was quickly adapting to her powers and learning to use her powers in more than one way. As time passed Mewtwo's powers were increasing because of that.

With another loud roar, Mewtwo shifted her focus on Articuno. Mewtwo again created a aura sphere and fired the attack at Articuno.

Articuno!

Articuno flapped her wings as ice blizzard destroyed the aura sphere and caused a thin layer of ice to appear on Mewtwo's body. "Good job. Articuno. Now please keep Mewtwo occupied. If possible try to damage the helmet covering her head."

While Itsuki and others were fighting Mewtwo, the remaining team rocket members didn't knew what to do anymore. Their boss unexpectedly had died and their plan to use Mewtwo had failed. Now the remaining members are confused and doesn't know what to do anymore.

"What we should do now?" Confused look were written on all the remaining team Rocket members.

"Of course, we're going to continue our Boss Mission. Even if our Boss died, as his subordinates it's our duty to carry his will."

Everyone turned their heads and looked at the middle aged man with black hair. Unlike the other team rocket members, his height was over six feet and his explosive muscles gave intimidate feeling in others hearts. There was a long horizontal scar on his forehead which made him look even more scary. He looked like the type of man who would stand out from rest of the crowd.

"Our Boss unexpectedly died. So in his place I will take over the commanding position and complete what he started." Jack looked around and scanned everyone's reactions.

Many elite rocket members were dissatisfied by the words that Jack said. Some members has been working under Giovanni for almost 3 decades, those members felt instead of Jack they were more worthy to leading the Rocket organization.

"Jack, I think the new leader should be chosen with everyone's consent. You can't just force yourself and make yourself the new leader." Jack looked at the person who dared to speak in front him. Jack and all the older members knew that becoming the leader of Team Rocket would mean instantly reaching the pinnacle of life.

No one wanted to let go of such golden opportunity. As soon as Giovanni died, the seed off greed began to sprout in their hearts. Jack took out his gun and before anyone could react, he shot the man who just dared to object his words.

Other rocket members stared at Jack in mix of fear and shock. No one expected Jack to kill one of their eldest elite member without even a single second of hesitation.

"I wasn't asking anyone's opinion. Disobey me and you die." Everyone looked at each other in fear. They had never expected Jack to change this much right after their leader passed.

Jack ignored the look on others faces and scanned the situation. After an minute of silence. "Listen up, RIght now, our top priority is to safely escape this place. We should use this chance, while others are distracted fighting Mewtwo we can escape and make new plans for our future." While everyone was dissatisfied with Jack taking over the leader position, no one deny that their top priority is to escape.

"Let' go." Jack looked at Mewtwo for one last time. His eyes were full of greed and passion. Just like Giovanni, he also deeply desired to have Mewtwo completely under his control and rule over Kanto region. But for that to happen, Jack first needed to escape from here.

Following Jack, all the members began to ran. But....

"I don't think you guys are leaving." With the female voice, a black figure suddenly landed in front of Jack, making everyone stop.

Seeing their former Team Rocket member standing in front of them and blocking their way, Jack became furious."Sabrina, you traitor get out of our way." It would be understatement to say that Jack hates Sabrina. Jack despises Sabrina. Jack believed Sabrina only have used the team rocket for her own gain and then left. Jack is also angry at Giovanni for letting Sabrina leave the organization just like that.

Hearing Jack's words, a cold smile appeared on Sabrina's face. "You guys barged into my territory. Leaving without my permission was never an option for you people."

Suddenly under shocked gazes of many people, Sabrina began to float in the air. "You see I am really protective when it comes to things that I care about. When I left Team Rocket, I also had severed all of my connections with the organization with a promise that I won't get in the organization's way. But now that Giovanni is dead, that promise holds no value to me." Jack then realized what he had gotten himself into. Jack for a moment overlooked the fact that Sabrina here is a monster that no one wants to mess with.

"Sabrina, listen to me. Team Rocket future needs me and these people here. Let us live and I promise I will give whatever you want. As an ex-member of the organization, have mercy on us." Of course, Jack was lying. Once had escapes from this place, he swore in his heart that he would take revenge from everyone including Sabrina.

Sabrina looked at the thing that Itsuki was fighting. Her coldness in her face now turned into murderous look. "You tried to hurt the very thing that I cared about. Now pay." Saying that Sabrina raised her right hand.

A second later, every remaining Team rocket members including their new leader Jack, had their heads twisted and severed from their bodies.

Bang!

All the police officer, nurses, and Association members stared at Sabrina in shock as they watched the bloody scene in front of them. Blood was of flying everywhere, the ground had been painted in red as headless bodies lied on the ground. Sabrina didn't looked least bothered by the scene. The whole time her facial expression remained unchanged.

This was not the first time Sabrina had killed someone. It will not be the last time she kills someone either. For her seeing this kind of bloody and gore scene is a normal thing. After all, Sabrina had done even more cruel things which was by killing an entire drug organization that operated in her Saffron City.

"Itsuki needs help." Even with Articuno and two elite four members, Mewtwo was still overwhelming them.

Everyone after seeing how easily Sabrina killed those people was more terrified of Sabrina than that Pokemon. Everyone's body stiffened when they saw Sabrina looking at him. Sabrina already had traumatized them. When they saw her looking at them, they assumed Sabrina wanted to kill them as well.

"Do you guys have your Pokemon with you?" Everyone nodded with head with a frightened look. "Good. Then let's go and help me stop that Pokemon." Saying that Sabrina used her Psychic powers to break all the handcuffs and free everyone.
