Chapter 8

As the large group arrived at the South Park sign, a huge weight was dropped on each boys chest as a rush of crazy memories dawned on each boy. Taking the first step made each boys heart ache in pain as anxiety rushed in their system. They all moved away from South Park for a reason and the group all drifted from eachother knowing it was for the best to start fresh. Now that they were all back together and arriving back at their old home, it was really scary.

"Alright so now that we are in this shit hole of a town. Where are we going to stay?" The Coon asked.

"My parents make a log cabin in the woods not far from here. We can stay there." Tupperware said while pointing off in the woods near them.

"Fuck that! I ain't sleeping in a fucking cabin in the woods. Do you not watch horror films Tupperware?! You do know that the black guy dies first right?!"

"Coon you need to lay off the jokes this is serious. We need to hide out for the night and wait for any sign of visitors." Toolshed said.

"Alright, alright but don't be crying to me when we all die in the woods."

_______________

As the group arrived, they saw a big log cabin. It was beautiful, clearly expensive and could fit several different people. Token got out his phone and pulled up an app. Holding it up to the padlock. It beeped and went green. Opening the door and going in first, the girls were puting it together that his parents were definitely rich.

As the sun went down, the group was in the cabin discussing a plan. Then a question came up.

"Your telling me you have a whole fucking bar in the corner and we aren't going to take advantage why?"

Token looked back at the bar and an idea clicked in his head. Looking over at Mysterion, he simply shrugged to the idea. Token let out a sigh and looked over at the one that suggested a drink.

"Fine, one drink and that's it."

___________

A few drinks later, the group was now outside with a bonfire started and beer cans and red solo cups scattered near the fire pit. Several different laughs echoed through the trees as they seemed to be having a great time. Each group talking about completely different things.

"Don't drink my ass."

"What I don't normally drink."

"What's in your hand right now?"

"I said I don't drink OFTEN!"

Two people were at the bar inside the log cabin. One was pouring more alcohol in a red cup while the other was filling to the top of his cup.

"Really, cuz you drink like you have experience."

Letting out a sigh, the red head set the bottle of liquor on the table. "I stop drinking the first time I got plastered drunk and ended up in the emergency room. I told my friend 'never again.'

"Well look at you now. I bet your friend would be proud." He teased.

" Hey I think this is an exception. I'm a fucking inky goopy mess. Might as well get wasted." She said while taking a sip.

"You know.. your not as bad looking as you keep saying you are."

"Ha, yeah right. You say that now but you haven't even seen me without my uniform deactivated. If you saw what my family saw you'd say I'm just as disgusting, possibly even more than they claimed I was."

"First of all, are you just assuming they thought you were disgusting and secondly, I bet you I'd still think you were beautiful with your suit deactivated."

She rolled her eyes as she pressed her button on her suit. "I'll remember that when you give me the same look they did to me." She said said she was slowly becoming black and white then decaying into a black liquid. Seeing her as a dripping mess was a bit overwhelming but something she didn't know he was capable of blew her mind. Before she could fully turn into a black puddle, he grabbed her liquidy hand and squeezed tightly. She was expecting his hand to go right through but instead, he was actually grabbing her hand as if she were a real human. Her heart fluttered as she was both confused and flattered he was still being so kind. It wasn't until he spoke up that she understood his ability to the fullest.

"That's what I thought. You have enough metal in your ink that I can control the smallest amount. I hope this will open your eyes that the fact your not alone anymore. You might feel empty and lonely but you have new friends all around you to make sure we get our normal lives back. You just need to accept this small change, we will get our normal lives back soon enough and save the world. Alright?"

Sudden emotions hit her hard as tears formed within a snap and she began to softly cry.

"Hey, you don't need to cry. It'll be okay." He reassured.

"Thank you... Thank you so much. This is exactly what I needed to hear. This is honestly the closest I felt to normal, the moment you touched my hand.. I feel safe and almost as if I am normal."

"Don't say that. You are normal. Your still human.. just with a little perk. Nothing to be scared about. I'm here, we are all here for you. Got that?"

She nodded while wiping her face which smudged ink on her face.

He simply chuckled while placing his hand on her cheek and ran his finger along the smudge and hardened the ink. It easily came off as he was the only one that could control it with his ability to control all metal.

Seeing a few tears fall, he wiped them away. She looked up and made full eye contact with him which caused her stomach to flutter as he gave a warm kind smile. It was as if the two had the same idea the moment she glanced down at his lips then back at his blue eyes. He caught the hint as he ran his hand to caress her cheek and leaned in.

Hearing the door close off in the distance made the two quickly back away and act casual.

"Hey, we were wondering where you were at. Thought we lost you." Mosquito said while going over to the bar.

"Oh uhh yeah we were just talking." Toolshed said while leaning against the table.

"Uhh huh."

"Hey Canvas, weren't we just about to go back outside?"

Jess blushing up a storm as she reactivated her suit and slowly formed back into her true form followed him outside.

They heard a chuckle along with, "You forgot your drinks. If you just want some privacy you could just say so. Just don't be having sex on the bar. Token nearly killed me the last time I did that."

The two blushing madly as the quickly snatched their drinks and ran off outside and continued there enjoyable nice with eachother.
