Chapter 59 - A Reason For This New Life

Am back

--[--]...[--]--

"How long are you going to stay here?" Xianyun muttered, asking Kenjiki who had been at the same location, unmoving for the last few hours.

"What, you don't want me to be with you?" Kenjiki looked at her and pouted.

Xianyun curled her lips, unable to answer his question. Because on one hand she was happy that he finally stopped thinking about sex, but on the other hand she was unsure what would happen to him if he continued this for any longer.

"What caused this enlightenment of yours to be exact?" Xianyun deflected and changed the topic as she herself was curious as to what was strong enough to cure his impulsiveness.

"The phrase "What is the goal I want to achieve by reincarnating?" Because this life has only been continuous sex since then." Kenjiki slurred out as he got more serious looking the more he talked.

This sentence that just came out of his surprised her, because she never expected that he finally thought of something that was not centered around his massive cock.

"Quite the serious Post Nut Clarity you got there." Xianyun chuckled looking at his serious face. "But when have you been bound by something measly such as a goal? You never needed something like a plan to get whatever you want."

That caused him to ponder for a bit, and that she was absolutely right in the sense he never needed to work for the things he wanted.

As he thought about it, Xianyun went to caress his hair and smiled.

"Rather than looking at it from the whole reincarnation, why don't you start looking for it in this world? A reason why you get reborn here rather than just anywhere else?" Xianyun continued caressing his hair.

Kenjiki fell into deep thought as he thought about it, but nothing came up no matter how hard he thought about it.

Because this kind of feeling never once had appeared in his head, when he had the entire universe to explore and conquer merely as a way to sate his boredom.

Now that he thought about it again, his previous self was too focused on satiating his third leg to think of a meaningful goal to strive for. However, all of this could be boiled down to the limitless power that allowed him to solve a problem with sheer strength.

Without ever needing to exert more than brain power needed. Only with one exception, the time when he courted a woman he fancied led him to learn everything about them.

"Did you think of something, yet?" Xianyun asked, seeing that he had gotten silent.

"I haven't pinpointed something for sure, but it might've got something to do with the core of this world. Something called quirk, the result of humanity's evolution due to lack of mana." Kenjiki voiced his thoughts. But still, he wasn't entirely sure of the actual reason.

"See? At least there's something for you to start with." Xianyun patted his head and slouched back looking at the space.

Kenjiki nodded as he finally got his thoughts on track. But then, he suddenly felt a disturbance in the fabric of space behind him.

"Furina? What do you want?" Kenjiki called out a name as he looked back to see the source of the disturbance.

The Door had manifested behind him as the head of a small girl poked out of it. With her bright blue hair contrasting the darkness of space.

"Nagant told me something interesting is happening on Earth, so I'm here to ask permission to play with the girls you brought." Furina asked with a beaming smile while positioning her body in a way that allowed him to see the girls who were standing around her.

Subsequently, the girls realized what was on the other side of The Door. A scene where Kenjiki was taking a bath in an open hot spring with another woman they had never seen before.

On top of that, they were buck naked without any piece of cloth to cover their body like one usually did when taking a hot spring bath.

"What is it?" Kenjiki was more than intrigued by this thing they wanted to do.

"A monster is attacking your school's camp." Furina then explained what she knew of the attack that befallen the camp.

"A monster?" Kenjiki was quite surprised to hear about it. Because to get attacked by monsters twice in less than a month was quite the record. "You can go, just don't let any of them get injured."

But then again, none of the monsters could excite him when the supposedly King of Monsters was killed by him already. This meant that these monsters probably wouldn't invoke any kind of emotion from him other than annoyance.

On the other hand, Furina excitedly closed the door and opened another one that directly brought them to the field where the fight against Ascendere had taken place.

"Weird, I thought that Nagant said that they're gathering here." Furina muttered, looking around the empty field.

Looking around, they see nothing of note other than the weirdly grown bamboo in the middle of the field. When they confirmed that no one was around, Kendo wanted to go to her class living quarters while the other wanted to go to theirs.

"Let's go to the closest one." Furina said as Kendo led them out of the field.

Coincidentally, the moment they stepped into the forest they saw a half-burning man walking, lighting up the whole forest.

"Monoma!" Kendo called out, recognizing her classmate.

"Huh?" All of them looked toward the source of the voice.

To their surprise, they saw their friends who had disappeared days ago suddenly appearing wearing a Kimono, an outfit they didn't expect someone who had vanished to wear.

Then Monoma realized that of all the girls in their class, only Kendo was there. The same realization dawned to the class 1-A who realized that two of them weren't there, which were Momo and Mina.

"Where have you been?" Monoma shouted from afar, as he looked for the rest of the girls.

"I.. went... somewhere." Kendo hesitated for a bit as she didn't know how she should describe the place they went to. As it was simply just a deranged talk if the other person didn't know what she was talking about.

Monoma raised his eyebrow in confusion not knowing what she meant by that. Then as he scanned the group, he realized three people who were out of place, which were Midnight, Nejire, and an unknown girl.

"And who's that?" Monoma brushed that thought away as he pointed at Furina.

Everyone turned their head towards Furina and was taken aback that they needed to lower their eyes even more, seeing how short she was compared to others.

Kendo was stumped hearing that question, because she didn't know anything about the girl other than her name and that she was likely one of Kenjiki's harem members.

Furina, seeing that none of the girls who came with her could say anything, walked forward.

"I'm Furina, the one responsible for their safety while we're out here." Furina picked up her top hat and placed it in front of her chest, bowing down. Before then resuming her usual stance. "She said that I can find a monster here, but I haven't seen anything else other than humans and a lamia corpse."

Everyone looked at her weirdly.

Mainly due to her giggly attitude when mentioning monsters that had just attacked them, and now that she said she was looking for a monster.

"Did I get tricked?" Furina pouted as she thought of the idea that she had wasted her time going around looking for a monster that had long been dead. "We'll be going if there's no monster around."

Furina was much more than just dejected, as the only thing she found interesting had already vanished before she could even lay her eyes on it.

However, when she was opening The Door to go back, she felt a mana disturbance in the air caused by an alarm made by someone.

But before she could investigate what set off the alarm.

*shshsk-BANG!*

Something exploded, causing the whole forest to shake from the sheer force of the explosion.

Not just that, the sound of metal being blasted by a meteor rang through the whole forest, scaring every living creature away from the forest knowing what something of that magnitude would entail.

"That's from the meeting point!" Izuku exclaimed as he sped up leaving the group behind as the others also followed suit.

The girls were confused as to what they were talking about. But seeing their grim expression, it must've been something really bad. So, without further ado, they followed Todoroki's flame while leaving Furina who had a wide grin plastered on her face.

*snap!*

Furina snapped her fingers as a big jellyfish made of water manifested in front of her, to which she drove away atop the jellyfish.

On the other end was a shallow crater where a bus could be seen sunken into the ground alongside the ground.

Atop the bus stood a peculiar man.

Though, if anything, he was more of a humanoid monkey. Where a man just grew brown furs all over his body aside from his face, just like how a monkey looked, even the furry tail dangling on his ass implied the same thing.

Looking at him, it reminded someone of a certain monkey who fought the heaven.
