After a while of touring around Nowhere, Veldon steered the balloon back towards Minerva.
"Nowhere is such a beautiful place!!" Seth commented, drawing a deep breath.
"That's majorly why it is called Nowhere!!" Veldon croaked.
Seth suddenly remembered something. Something he hadn't thought about since their tour began...
"Veldon, should I ask you a simple question??" he asked.
"Yes!!I find pleasure in answering questions?!"" came the reply.
"Do you know where the Knights found me??" he asked.
He hoped that he would find even the least of answers in that place.
"Oh,yes!!I do!!"
"Can you take me there??" he pleaded.
" I could but why would you want to go to that very dangerous place??"
"Anselm tasked me to find answers on my very own, without questioning anyone!!"
"That place is the most dangerous in the whole of Nowhere!!"
"But I need, desperately,to go there!!Atleast,I can find answers to a few of my questions!!"
"Okay,then!!If you insist!!"
Veldon steered the basket towards the west, heading straight past Concordia and past the thick green forest. They crossed a large chunk of forest before they arrived at a glade.
"Here we are!!" Veldon said, throwing down the roll of ladder.
Seth's heart started to race. He was anticipating what he would find out here and at the same time fearing what could happen here. He was much more anxious and weary to know than he was scared. But he should be. If Veldon said it was the most dangerous place in Nowhere, he was right, because he was a watcher and he saw everything.
Slowly, Seth climbed down the ladder.
"Be very careful, young man!!" Veldon called down on him.
"I will be!!" Seth called back.
Suddenly, the balloon disappeared into thin air. That explained why he was the most unfindable creature. You can't find something that is invisible.
Seth stood in this deadly looking place. He looked around at his surroundings. The forest was really thick around here, the tall trees casting their shadows over this glade. It looked the least like a battle field,or like what had been a battlefield but Seth had no choice but to pry around for clues about himself.
Slowly,he walked around the glade, taking in every single bit of it, observing the trees, the barks on the tree and the stones. While he walked around,he tripped over something. Cursing lightly,he stood up and looked for what he had just tripped on.
Sticking out of the ground was a stick,or it was more like a bone.Seth carefully pulled it up out of the ground. It looked more like a human bone that had been eaten or savaged by a huge beast. Seth observed the area around the bone. It looked very suspicious. Seth, cunningly, followed the trail of the bone,to which direction it was pointing. The bone was pointing at a birch tree.Seth reached out towards the tree.
The tree had strange carvings on it. The tree spread its branches out towards the sky, creating a thick shadow. But there was something strange, something like a tablet cut through the tree.
Curiously and at the same time haphazardly, Seth pushed the tablet, that earned him a light creak. But nothing happened.Nothing except for a heavy silence and the rustle of leaves.
Seth backed away from the tree and....
"Whoa!!" he screamed, tripping on something else.
"Argh!!Bones again!!" he cursed,standing up.
And he saw something that made his eyes slowly widen.......
