Second Chances 1.40

Viggo got up early the next morning while Kiara continued to sleep. Viggo left the house as the sun rose above the eastern mountains. He went to the backyard and stopped in front of a log with an axe stuck in the surface. He raised his hand and tapped the handle down. He then grabbed the handle and moved it up and down to unlock the axe from the wood.

Viggo let out a sigh and said -I miss my axe. Damn old man When do you plan to return?- then he stared at the axe while thinking about his family and friends. He let out another sigh and took a log to put on the trunk the axe was on. Then he occupied the axe and turned the trunk into smaller pieces, called splinters. In this way he continued to cut firewood until forming a large pile that rests on the back wall of the house. It was more than 1 meter high by 5 meters long.

-Why are you cutting so much firewood, Viggo?- asked Sakura.

Viggo looked to his left and saw Sakura standing next to the corner of the house, with forests and mountains in the background.

-I have an assignment- said Viggo -Kiara asked me to go to Atica and escort Semiramis-

-The merchant?- asked Sakura in a low voice.

Viggo nodded, took the axe and nail on the trunk from before. Then he turned around and said -with this they wouldn't need to cut wood for at least a month-

-Are you going to leave for so long?-

-No, but it's just in case something happens. Don't worry, it's not the first time I've done this trip-

-Viggo, my skill with the bow has improved a lot, I could help you-

-I've gotten better with my daggers too- Ana said, appearing from behind Sakura and stopping next to her. Almost two drops of water, Viggo thought.

-No- Viggo said -for now continue your training-

-Viggo- Sakura protested, but Viggo denied with a smile.

Sakura walked unusually with a frown and stopped in front of Viggo. The latter smiled at seeing that angry face, felt incredibly good for a moment, and crouched his face to give him a little kiss. Sakura opened her wide eyes and put her hand to her mouth. He smiled and looked down as he smiled. On the other hand, Ana was surprised for a moment and then smiled looking at the ground with a melancholy expression. She heard a few footsteps and saw Viggo's feet wrapped in sandals. She looked up and looked at Viggo's eyes.

-Me- Ana said -but Viggo went faster and gave her a little kiss. Ana just closed her eyes and kissed him. Once Viggo broke up, Ana opened her eyes and looked at his face – it was short – she said as if she was asking for more. Then he looked at Viggo's side and saw his sister — Okay? — he asked.

Sakura walked with a big smile and took Ana by the hand. They both looked at each other without saying unnecessary words. They smiled at each other and nodded, then looked at Viggo and said -you must take responsibility-

-Sure- Viggo said with a small smile.

After that, the girls went to prepare things for Kiara while Viggo went to get her horse, who always grazed in a corral on top of the hill. He put some blankets on his back to cushion the impact of riding. Then he entered the house and went to his room to take out his quiver with dates and bow. On the way Viggo met Kiara, who gestured to him with his index finger while smiling coquettishly. Viggo walked over with red cheeks, and she gave him a tender kiss. However, Viggo was almost intoxicated by that brief touch. He felt his crotch hard and his throat dry. He denied sideways and took a deep breath. Kiara nodded with satisfaction and took his arm, making him feel his generous breasts. They walked to the room and once they entered, Kiara closed the door. He walked ahead, found his quiver with dates in a corner and hung it crossed. Then he began to look for his bow and felt someone hit his shoulder. He turned around and saw Kiara holding her wooden bow.

-You need a better bow- Kiara said, and I pass the bow.

Viggo received the bow and hung it on his right shoulder – yes, but this is the best thing there. Most bows can't stand my strength-

-Maybe women too- Kiara said with a seductive smile. She hugs Viggo intertwining his hands behind the back of his neck and continue –if you are going to eat those girls you will need supervision-

-Me, well, this-

Kiara put her index finger on Viggo's lips and said - I already knew this would happen, you don't have to look for excuses. Viggo, there is nothing uglier than a man who makes excuses. If you do something, do it, period. For now, things are fine as they are. In the future I will explain many things to you-

-What things?-

-To the future, it means to the future. For now, just focus on escorting Semiramis for me. There are many pirates in the Sea of Atica, so protect it to the best of your ability-

-I will not disappoint you-

Kiara made a flirtatious smile and came to her ear to whisper –if all goes well, I'll let you occupy that hole- Then she walked away a little and looked into his eyes. Viggo swallowed saliva and Kiara nodded as if she was answering an unspoken question. Viggo swallowed saliva again and nodded. Then he kissed her and pushed her to bed.

Viggo left Sparta 3 hours later than expected. First, he had to skirt Sparta by a road and reach the cemetery, then continue ascending north to the valley of The Two Kings, which overlooked the Pass of The Two Kings between the mountains. Follow Arcadia until the middle of the map and turn right to reach Corinth. Continue straight through Corinth, pass through Megaride and finally reach the plains of Demeter, in Attica.

This whole trip took him two days in total. On the first day he would go to Corinth, where Kiara had provided him with a house as Queen Hetera. In reality, she was not queen of any country, but as a woman with more money than many kings wanted and a wide influence among religious and political circles, no one disputed it. Heteras were ladies-in-waiting a hundred times more refined and educated than prostitutes. If they got the support of a king they could influence the economy, politics, and war of the country itself. It happened sometimes, but there were very few who could really say that if they said something to their lovers, they would act. On the other hand, Corinth is allied with Sparta in large part by the Heteras, since, if it were for the Athenians, they would have nothing. However, in Sparta women can govern their own fortunes, inherit, sell, and carry out all kinds of transactions without the need for any man to approve them.

Two days after embarking on his journey, Viggo arrived in Atica at about five o'clock in the afternoon. The great walls surrounding the city and the port were visible from a distance. Like other times, Viggo entered through the north gate where he was greeted by a cobbled path and beautiful sculptures on the sides. Different from Sparta, where its warrior king was honored. Here in Atica, thinkers and great speakers were honored. All the statues were of men in long robes who seemed to want to convince you of something with their gaze. Viggo kept advancing on his horse as he looked at a huge mansion made of carved stone on his left. Viggo always stared at it, because such construction challenged in many ways the engineering of the time. He followed the path across a bridge that passed over a river that fed the city. Then he saw in the distance the statue of Hermes, with his staff with two snakes on his sides. That marked the beginning of the North sector market.

That was another thing that differentiates Sparta from Attica, is that here the trade was rich and diverse. With large markets of more than one hundred meters in length and more than fifty meters in width. They sold clay vases adorned with wonderful drawings and beautiful carpets of gold, green and blue colours, things that in Laconia-Sparta you could only dream of. At the same time, everything was within reach, you just had to be able to pay the price. Now why little Sparta could compete against Atica in military power was a mystery? Viggo thought that, if his teacher were there, he would tell him "The Spartans do not trust each other and remain applied, that is the significant difference."

Viggo reached the statue of Hermes and got off the horse, looking to his right at the north market of Atica. Then he looked down the road to see if his contact were coming, but it seems that today it would be a little more complicated than normal.

Already when the last rays of the sun remained and Viggo had resigned himself to sit on the ground, leaning on the base of the statue of Hermes, contact came.

-I'm sorry, Viggo- said a woman in a soft, melodious voice.

Viggo half asleep, looked up and saw a beautiful, brown-skinned woman. He let out a yawn and rested his hands on the base of the statue of Hermes so he could stand up. She approached Viggo by swaying her hips and drawing the attention of all men.

-Good afternoon, Scheherezade- said Viggo.

-Sorry, it was too late, I was finalizing an assignment for Semiramis- Scheherezade replied.

Viggo looked at the woman a little taller than him. Soft temperament and languid look. She occupied a veil that covered her mouth and added to the mystery behind her beautiful emerald eyes. His voice was reassuring as his voluptuous body unsettled your heart. Viggo himself despite having shared with Kiara (a woman of prominent curves and charms), was terribly attracted to those huge breasts, small waist and huge bubbly butt.

-Okay, Scheherezade, if it's for you I would wait until the end of the world-

Scheherezade smiled from behind the semi-transparent white veil as her eyes emitted a flirtatious glow -thank you Viggo, but you don't need to wait for me that long-

-Why do you say it?-

-Who knows?- replied Scheherezade, looking away coquettishly.

Viggo looked into her eyes mesmerized by her beautiful look and smiled. He approached the horse and lured him -come, Scheherezade- he said.

She approached without taking her eyes off his gaze and stayed so close to Viggo that he could feel the softness of her breasts. She looked into his eyes with a hidden desire in her gaze while Viggo was tempted to kiss her, but just smiled. Then he brought his hands to Scheherezade's hips as they both looked into each other's eyes. Viggo gently stroked the skin feeling the great unevenness between the thin waist and the thick hips. He hugged her by folding his body to hers and she responded by hugging him in the same way. She rested his cheek on his shoulder and gave him a few small kisses on the neck. At the same time, Viggo smelled the perfume on his neck.

-How have you been doing lately?-

-Well, Semiramis has done a lot of business- Scheherezade replied with a big smile.

They spent a minute hugging and then separated. Then Viggo lifted Scheherezade from her hips and helped her sit on the back of her hair. Then he got on the horse and took the reins. At the same time, Scheherezade became attached, squeezing her large breasts against Viggo's back as she hugged him by the waist.

-Viggo is as warm as the sun- Scheherezade murmured with a smile on his lips and his eyes closed.

Viggo let out a hot exhalation, feeling his crotch hard as a rock, but he thought it was not the time or place to be passionate.

Scheherezade opened her eyes – I'm sorry – she said in a flirtatious murmur –I was too absorbed in hugging you. The boat is in the port of North Piraeus-

Viggo look around his eyes at the sky and remember – but why does she need to turn around? - ask curiously. Semiramis came from the outer ports, so for her it was more profitable to dock in the southern ports. If I went to the northern ports, it meant skirting the peninsula and wasting several hours sailing.

-What happens is that Semiramis is buying marble from the quarry of the Island of Salamis, on the island in front of the port of Piraeus. So, it's easier to pick it up at the North Port-

-Eeeehh?- said Viggo with a big smile. marble was an expensive commodity that only kings, and administrators of large cities could afford. It was a luxury in every sense of the word, as it had no practical use. The only thing it was for was to make sculptures - it seems that I will have to rethink my fees - continue - I am charging very cheaply-

-What kind of fees do you expect?- asked Scheherezade in a flirtatious voice.

Viggo let out an evil giggle and replied – I have an idea, but it's not the time or the place- Then he waved the reins, and the horse began to trot to the West sector of Ithaca, to the ports of Piraeus, while Scheherezade hugged him from behind.
