Remnants of another Era 1.73

Viggo left the building where Semiramis and Scheherezade were hiding. He under a staircase of fifteen steps until he reaches a cobbled courtyard. The place had two large buildings on the sides, separated by a path that must have been the access for the servants. Viggo looked at the building on the right, four stories high and some crumbling walls. He through the Kenaz rune (<) and the manipulation of the wind, could see that there were ten warriors of the immortals of Persia.

Ana advanced behind him and stopped at the last rung of the ladder -how do we move forward?- asked.

-I'm going ahead, and you attack from behind, be careful with their throwing weapons technique, you might be surprised- Viggo said in a serious tone.

Ana felt hearing him speak like this. It was as if the usual Viggo had disappeared and now only the warrior remained. On the one hand, it made her afraid and on the other hand her excited.

-I understand- Ana said, her cheeks flushing as she tried to calm her heart.

Viggo just nodded, hear her running down the right side and he then walked straight ahead of the building, looking at the large windows on each floor, the crumbling walls on the fourth floor and watching for any changes that might be in the surrounding area. The bounce of a pebble was heard, and he understood that they had seen it. Then Viggo began to jog into the building in the direction of a broken wall two meters high by five meters long. There was a small hill of debris, which Viggo trotted over as he looked around. Then he advanced through the interior of the building to the wall at the other end and climbed an internal staircase. However, before he even reached the second floor, an immortal jumped with his sword over him to stick it in his head. Viggo stepped back, dropping the immortal to the ground, and then punching him, breaking his silver mask. The monster that called itself immortal received the impact and hit the wall. The immortal's mask fell to the ground split in two and revealed a face full of wrinkles; piranha-like teeth and eyes with large black pupils. Kiara had called them undead, Viggo thought she may be right, after all, this guy reeked of death.

Viggo advanced, kicked him head-on, smashing the immortal with the wall and threw a second punch at him, which pulverized the skull in conjunction with the wall.

Viggo was going to take a closer look at the immortal, but he heard several swords being drawn and knew that Ana had come forward. Viggo took the sword from the immortal and began to run until he reached the second floor, then looked for the next staircase and went up to the third floor. Then he found Ana in a large room, she was ready to fight, with both daggers put in a defensive posture. Under his feet was another immortal with a large black blood pose under his neck. At the same time, eight immortals were surrounding her against the wall.

-Ana!- shouted Viggo, the immortals looked back and saw him running in their direction. At the same time, Ana threw herself to the left by the nearest immortal.

Viggo arrived in front of the first immortal, who received him with a horizontal sword. Viggo crouched down, stepped under the sword, and threw a punch at the ribs, which creaked at the same time as the immortal lost his posture. Then Viggo took advantage and made a horizontal cut with the sword in the other hand, decapitating it instantly. In that way, Viggo advanced by throwing punches and kicks, decapitating with a single blow, and making a way to reach Ana.

For her part, Ana was focused on fending off the two immortals in front of her. She also paid attention to Viggo and how he moved like a ghost. Always on the move, sliding and connecting powerful punches. However, when she was neglected, an immortal from the front attacked her. Ana raised her daggers and endured the attack. However, she was frightened when she saw the second immortal raising his sword. However, a sword flew through the immortal's head. Then she heard Viggo screaming and then heard a big bang. At the same time, Ana took advantage of pushing the immortal, raising his guard, and taking advantage of cracking his stomach. The next instant, the immortal fell to his knees and Ana took advantage of carrying her two daggers around her neck and cutting his throat.

-You hurried- Viggo said in a stern tone, walking through the dark room on the third floor as Ana turned around and looked at him with blushing cheeks. However, even though Ana's feelings of lust would be a great pleasure for him, he continued to look at her sternly.

-It was a joint attack- Viggo roared as he arrived in front of her.

-You delayed- Ana replied with an annoyed look.

-It's normal, I was generating noise and getting their attention, you must wait for me. A joint attack is a joint attack. If you, do it alone, you are exposing yourself to danger. We are a team to avoid the worst situations-

Ana looked down and nodded.

Viggo let out a sigh and said in a softer voice -if you get it, that's okay. Come, let me see if you were hurt-

Ana moved forward raising her face and Viggo brought his right hand to her face. He ran his fingers across both cheeks with the gentleness with which a baby would be treated. Ana blushed as she felt his tender touch and opened her mouth for him to stick his finger in. However, Viggo denied with a smile and said -let's take a bath first, I'm dirty, I stained with the blood of those things-

Ana closed her mouth and nodded, but anyway raised her gaze full of anticipation. Viggo smiled, crouched down, and gave her a little kiss on the lips.

-Later we will do the rest- Viggo whispers in her ear. Ana nodded with a smile on her lips.

After checking the immortals and looking around for more threats, Viggo returned with Sakura, Semiramis, and Scheherezade. Viggo explained the situation to them and told them that it would be best to end their negotiation in Knossos as soon as possible. To which everyone nodded accepting the situation.

They first investigated the surroundings and found the connection to the river that passed outside the palace. It was a corridor on the first floor of the building on the left. Viggo and Ana stripped naked and bathed. The rest of the girls went to look around while Viggo put out Ana's fire. Once they were ready, they searched for the group and went around all the floors of all the buildings.

On the third floor of the building on the left, near the end, Semiramis found a large number of vessels, sculptures, and coins from the time of King Minos.

-Interesting- said Semiramis fascinated by the beautiful engravings on the vessels. In itself, the drawing and skill of the craftsman was insignificant for the time, but taken to the right person, this could be worth a lot of money -What do you think Viggo?- asked.

Viggo who watched her check the vessels from a distance, said -no one may have touched it because this place is considered cursed. After all, it is assumed that here the terrible beast called the minotaur was locked up-

Semiramis nodded with a smile, passing around a large vessel one meter high. She examined it and then looked at Viggo full of enthusiasm -Can I?-

-Go ahead, pass you the bag so that you can evaluate what can serve us. However, I remind you that the vessel only has historical significance in this place. When we go to my homeland it will only be a lot of old vessels-

Semiramis nodded, walked to Viggo, and gave him a sensual kiss on the cheek. Viggo smiled at the gesture and waved his head to continue.

In that way, Semiramis kept more than twenty vessels, thirty status and about a hundred gold coins. However, the matter they came for was nowhere to be found. Viggo became impatient when evening began to fall, and they were arriving at the last section of the building. They went down the stairs from the fourth floor, at the same time that they were very careful, since it was the building that most walls were missing. Some parts of the floor had fallen off and sometimes, the foundations creaked. So, everyone went down as quickly as possible to the first floor and there they found a staircase that descended to the underground. On all the walls were drawn the servant's carrying vessels with olive oil, while the whales were drawn at the top, almost touching the ceiling.

The staircase led them to an underground cellar, which was missing the entire back wall. Viggo watched as a large space of darkness occurred beyond, only illuminated by a beam of light coming down from the ceiling. He walked to see what it was as the rats squealed listening to his approach and stepped aside, but none of that mattered to Viggo. He moved beyond the rubble of the crumbling wall and was content with what he saw.

-Come on- Viggo shouted with joy -this is the place-

However, none of the girls wanted to get close. There were a large number of rats and in order for them to even want to venture, they should first make torches. Viggo turned around looking at the four shadows at the beginning of the cellar, waiting for them to arrive, but after some thought, he understood: darkness, rats, abandoned place, being attacked by a hungry animal. Viggo let out a sigh and moved fearlessly through the cellar.

-Inconsiderate- said Semiramis.

Viggo let out a chuckle, took her hand and led her to the first floor which still retained some light. In that place they prepared several torches, took out long ropes from the leather bag that Kiara had provided them. Viggo took the ropes, hung them on his shoulder, and also took out his axe. Once prepared, they descended into the cellar and advanced to where the wall was demolished.

-So that's why you were excited- Scheherezade said, grabbing Viggo by the left hand. Ahead of them was a huge room more than twenty meters deep and more than two hundred square meters. At the end of the room there was a hole in the ceiling through which the light passed. That illuminated everything around, revealing the obsidian stone cut into huge blocks and perfectly placed in the walls and floors. They were at the top of the room. In front of them was a long obsidian stone staircase, which reached a balcony and was divided into two paths to the sides. Once you reached the end of the road, there were other stairs that took you to the lowest part, where you could see the mouth of a large well-guarded by two huge humanoid statues, with the head of a bull.

-That's right- replied Viggo, looking at the large statues of minotaurs, which can easily have measured twenty meters -do you see the obsidian stone? It's everywhere; the walls, the staircase, the supporting pillars, even the well down there-

Scheherezade nodded as she held his hand.

After they watched for a long time, they went down the stairs to the balcony and could better appreciate the large wingspan of the minotaur statues. Each statue was in a firm position, staring at the pit while holding huge axes as high as them.

Viggo looked down the balcony and caught how the well was sealed with a layer of obsidian stone -we're going to have to look for another entrance, maybe another crack like the other one- he said. Then he left the balcony and continued -come on, we have a lot to do-

The rest followed him down the stairs while holding up the torches. As they descended, the light seemed to be absorbed. Once they reached the bottom, they realized that ten meters before the well there was an obsidian stone totem, with the same round hollow as the cyclope totem of the island of Boeotia. Viggo approached the totem pole while the rest left their bags in a space and Scheherezade looked for pen, ink, and paper to write down everything he was seeing.
