Of loves and reasons 1.99

The two carriages arrived at the Ganesha family theatre at about ten o'clock in the evening. The large three-story building rose to the end of a wide staircase of several steps and three breaks. On the first floor there were long columns with a Greek theme while on the second and third floors there were large windows three meters high, by three meters wide. At the same time, the red carpet was extended from the entrance of the building to the edge of the sidewalk, where the carriages stopped, and the gods descended with their guests.

The first to descend from the carriage was Kain, who helped Hephaestus descend. They were followed by Scheherezade, Sakura and Ana. Then the carriage advanced and gave way to Hera's carriage. Once it stopped, Kain walked over to the door and opened it. Hera was the first to step outside and Kain extended a hand for her to support. She smiled with pleasure and leaned on her hand. Kain helped her down and took Hera with Hephaestus.

On the other hand, the next to descend was Viggo, who waited for Semiramis to approach the door and help her descend. Then they walked to Scheherezade, Sakura and Ana, while Odysseus got off last and instructed the coachman to come and pick them up at about two in the morning.

Once all were reunited, Kain led the way while Hephaestus took his left arm and Hera his right arm. He was followed by Viggo, Semiramis and Scheherezade, all three imitating the elders. Behind them were Sakura and Ana, and at the end of the procession Odysseus, who kept his distance so that people would not rumor that he had found a lover or things like that. Different from the carefree Jason or the simple Achilles, Odysseus thought of everything and understood that he conferred on a woman to stand next to him. He was one of the great adventurers of Orario and with that came an equally important status.

On the other hand, Sakura and Ana let Viggo move forward with Semiramis and Scheherezade ahead, as the two of them were going to have a business and it was important for people to know their affiliation. However, in return, Sakura and Ana had asked for full possession of Viggo regarding the dungeon stuff and adventurers. They had already received the crest of Hephaestus and could now be considered from the Hephaestus family, rather than just being the daughters-in-law. However, their future was going to be complicated since they were only strong level one adventurers. The next week Tsubaki would take them under her care and teach them to be adventurous.

That way, everyone entered the Ganesha family theatre and was guided by an adventurer from the Ganesha family decked out in a frac suit like the rest of the men. They advanced down a long corridor on the right, while revelling in the artwork hanging on the walls. However, when they reached the staircase leading to the second floor, Kain stopped in front of the sculpture of a fierce-looking warrior. He was wearing Roma-style armor and wielding a spear. You could see the intensity of the emotions through the eyes, as if the sculpture were alive and demonstrated the power he had in life.

Kain approached the sculpture alongside Hephaestus and Hera. He took out of his ring a bouquet of flowers and put it at the base of the sculpture -it's been a while, Romulus- he said. Then he stood up and looked at the sculpture in the eyes for a while. The rest just kept silent and waited for Kain to continue with the journey.

Once they resumed the journey, they went upstairs and reached the second floor. Then they advanced through a long corridor with huge windows on the left. They passed by the door of two balconies before finding the balcony of Hephaestus and when they arrived, Hephaestus said goodbye to the adventurer of the Ganesha family.

On the other hand, Sakura, and Ana advanced until they reached the railing of the box and looked inside the theatre, where there were a hundred seats and, in the background, a large burgundy curtain covering the stage. At the same time, they could see people dressed in frac and beautiful dresses, while a few dressed in a bizarre way. In the middle of the quirky was a dark-haired man wearing an elephant mask and shouting "I am Ganesha" and then bursting out loud laughter.

Hephaestus approached the girls and told them -he is the god who owns this place-

-Huh?!- the sisters answered at the same time and Hephaestus let out a lovely giggle. She stroked their hair and told them -that's right, believe it or not...-

After checking the box, Kain and his wives sat in the first row of chairs. Semiramis, Scheherezade, Sakura and Ana would sit in the second and Viggo and Odysseus would sit in the third. At the same time, the rest of the boxes on the sides, in front and on the third floor began to fill. The people on the first floor began to take seats and the atmosphere was filled with a talk that at times seemed like a buzz.

From the front box on the third floor, a beautiful woman raised her arm in greeting, and Kain raised her arm in response. She was accompanied by a burly woman and a boy with two bear ears. At the same time, Hephaestus, and Hera pinched Kain from the sides.

Semiramis impressed by the woman's beauty, turned her face, and asked Viggo -Who is she?-

-Freya, a goddess- replied Viggo -and my best friend's adoptive mother-

-Just a little woman- Hera added from the first seats -be careful and watch Viggo not to get between her sheets-

-No, well- Viggo said in an uncomfortable tone -that would be a bit complicated. Then I couldn't look Ottar in the face-

-Poor you, Viggo Dragonroad!- exclaimed Hephaestus -stay away from that woman-

Viggo turned his eyes to the ceiling and denied in a gesture of annoyance.

Semiramis turned forward and asked Hera -Is she so bad?-

-Bad, very bad, so be careful- Hera replied and asked Kain -Did you put your mark of protection on everyone's mind?-

Kain took her hand, kissed her back, and said -of course I did, calm down-

Hera nodded contentedly and looked forward with blushing cheeks. She felt a little embarrassed to be so jealous of that woman, but it didn't hurt to be cautious. On the other hand, she looked at Semiramis from the sidelines and said -the auction consists of three parts. When we get to the third part we will talk about precious stones-

Semiramis nodded and looked forward, past the railing, noticing how the seats were almost full.

Soon the burgundy curtain opened, and a woman of exuberant beauty started the auction. She greeted everyone present and then began to mention different types of products such as works of art or products from distant lands. An adventurer dressed in frac brought the artwork to the stage and the competition kicked off. The vast majority of the nobles who were sitting in the seats reacted by buying one or another mask, a vase or a painting. However, none of the gods who were in the boxes made any judgment. Apparently, they were indifferent to such banal or low-level things.

Little by little the products were increasing in price until they reached several tens of millions of valuables. Semiramis herself couldn't even believe it, if she had participated in this moment, her fortune would have been buying a simple vessel. This in turn gave her an idea of how poor she was compared to everyone present. At the same time, Viggo noticed her sighing with melancholy and put his hand on her soft shoulder. She in turn rested her cheek in Viggo's hand and felt comfort through the pleasant warmth.

That way passed the first part of the auction without major setbacks, and everyone was invited to the banquet. Hera borrowed Semiramis to introduce her to her acquaintances, while Hephaestus borrowed Sakura and Ana to do the same. Kain was called aside by Miach to discuss a topic. Odysseus followed Hera as his bodyguard. Only Viggo and Scheherezade were left on their own. However, none became a problem. On the contrary, they felt that they needed this type of instance, where they would only enjoy the moment without planning anything.

Viggo offered her his left arm and Scheherezade smiled and supported both hands on his forearm. Viggo led her along the great banquet hall, naming her some gods they saw along the way, their status within Orario and what they did. Of course, Scheherezade captured the men's attention, but none dared to disturb Viggo. Viggo's strength at this time may have been only that of a level 4, but he was a Dragonroad. His father was a dragon that no one wanted to disturb. So, they just watched from a distance.

However, a young man almost as tall as Viggo approached them. He had two small hairy ears on the top side of his head, like bear ears, while a tall, stocky woman walked beside him. Behind them came a beautiful woman; the same as Hephaestus and Hera warned Viggo to stay away. However, that would be difficult, thrown to impossible, after all, she was the adoptive mother of the boy with the bear ears.

-It's been a while, Ottar- said Viggo, reaching out his right hand.

Ottar stopped in front of Viggo and shook his hand with a big smile -It's been a while- said.

-Brat, the fruit does not fall far from the tree- said Mia Grand, stopping next to Ottar.

Viggo looked at Scheherezade, blushed at how beautiful she was, and said with a big smile -she's my wife, her name is Scheherezade-

-Good pleasure, sister- Ottar said with a kind look.

-Nice to meet them- Scheherezade replied with a small bow.

-Young Viggo, you were away for a while. It's good to see that you came back safe and sound- Freya said in her voice as melodious as a bell. She stopped on the other side of Ottar and looked at Scheherezade. Freya continuous -you are beautiful, dear-

-Thank you very much, Goddess Freya- replied Scheherezade.

Ottar looked at Freya and she nodded in with a soft smile. Ottar looked at Viggo and asked him about the promise.

-In four months- replied Viggo.

-Four months?- asked Ottar surprised

Viggo always smiled and said without feeling bad -I have been told that you are ultra-strong; you can now fight Aunt Mia-

-I'm not your aunt, brat- Mia grumbled.

Viggo ignored the comment and continued -at the moment I am only a level 4, but Dad will start teaching me touki-

Ottar's eyes began to shine, and he said with a big smile -I'm waiting to see the results-

Without realizing it, all the eyes of the surroundings began to concentrate on the two friends. Scheherezade looked around and knew there was something special about this event. It was like when the great nobles of Persia gathered to compete on their horses.

-A couple of idiots, why don't they yell at it in the middle of the guild?- asked Kain as he approached. He walked forward with a smile on his lips as he looked around. Considering the environment and his son's needs, he thought this was the best time to perform a risky maneuver.
