Continuation of training 1.130

Within the circle of protection around Faye and Atreus' hut, everything was quiet, beasts like wolves and bears were non-existent. You didn't see draugrs, ogres or trolls, nor were those spectral birds.

Viggo spent a week accompanying Faye and Atreus. The latter was very happy, after all, he had someone different from his mother to talk to. In addition, Viggo brought sweets, meals, toys and clothes for himself and his family. It was all happiness until after four days of eating sweets and chocolates uncontrollably, Atreus became ill with his stomach. For his part, Viggo had to take care of him and Faye for the next three days. Once on the eighth day Atreus recovered and got out of bed, Viggo said goodbye to them. Atreus was sad but knowing that he was coming to train and not to play, he just smiled.

Now Viggo walked outside the protection circle of Faye's forest with the bow in his hand and quiver with arrows hanging from his back. As he ascended the mountains, the blizzard was much colder as the forests were covered with snow. The sky was half clear and had stopped snowing only half a day ago. There was no sign of beasts or spectral birds, but Viggo kept his guard up. Something had happened in the mountains that, although it was full spring, the weather had become more severe. That, in turn, made the animals more competitive, hungry, and aggressive.

Viggo reached a plateau in the middle of the mountains. The terrain stretched for several kilometers, covered by several hectares of huge snow-covered pine trees. The place had an intimidating presence, as if there was a terrible monster hidden inside the forest. Viggo smiled, as this feeling was a great indicator; there was a great possibility that would be his master. Viggo let out a chuckle and went into the forest of huge snow-covered pine trees.

Because of the foliage and height of the trees, daylight barely entered. Everything remained completely calm as the blizzards passed by rocking the branches of the trees and making them rustle. Viggo was advancing at a slow pace, looking at the trees and shrubs and keeping a watchful eye at least a hundred meters ahead of him. No animals of any kind or footprints were seen, it seems that the beast in the center of the forest had eaten everyone, and in turn, no animal dared to approach.

Viggo kept advancing through the forest until he reached the center and saw a man sitting on a long log. Because of the bald head and the red tattoo, Viggo guessed it must have been Kratos. At the same time, the man sitting on the trunk turned his face, saw Viggo in the distance, and looked at the bonfire in front of him again.

Viggo advanced until he reached about five meters from Kratos and said -master, I remember that you liked to sit in front of a good campfire. But I didn't remember that you will like solitude so much-

Viggo only heard a growl and walked to the other side of the bonfire kratos was looking at. Around the Kratos fire were nailed several branches with thick pieces of meat. Viggo smiled, sat on the dark earth floor, and looked at his master illuminated by the light of the bonfire. His face still held that expression of few friends; stern look, "n" shaped mouth, the thick beard that made him look even more serious and his great bearing that made him look imposing.

-Age doesn't help your brain mature- Kratos said in his thick, powerful voice.

Atreus could tell that Viggo's voice was unrecognizable, but now that Viggo had matured, he admired Kratos' voice, he looked like the voice of a real general. First impressions mark people who know you a lot. Viggo wondered how the nobles who go to Hera's Jewelry would respond if they heard him speak like his master. Maybe they would flee in terror.

-Age helped me take myself less seriously and laugh at problems- Viggo said with a sly smile.

Kratos looked up and looked into his eyes for a moment. Then he looked at the bonfire again and nodded.

-What do you want, boy?- asked Kratos.

-I come to continue my training-

-I've taught you enough- Kratos said -tell the old monster not to test my patience-

Viggo just smiled, because he thought that Kratos was only depressed by the problems or rather, his "influence" on Atreus' health. At this time Kratos looked like a hermit who would fight for his life, but who did not know where he was going.

-Since you don't want to train me, why don't you talk about your experiences?-

-Boy- Kratos murmured with a violent glow in his gaze.

-Grandpa said you took away the order of the world- Viggo continued with a big smile on his lips as he listened to Kratos murmur that he will stop bothering -I have felt the anger flow through my desires to struggle. Then I asked myself what kind of madness you fell into?-

Kratos raised his face and looked at Viggo sternly. However, Viggo just smiled and continued –I am not afraid of you, I am not Atreus, I am not a child. I have trained, I have passed the test of the fire world, and I have learned many things. It's time to give you back the training-

Kratos frowned and stood up, Viggo did too. They both looked into each other's eyes, only separated by the bonfire in between them. Viggo had grown but was still a span lower than Kratos. On the other hand, although Viggo had developed his muscles, they could not even be compared to those of Kratos. Viggo smiled thinking that maybe his master, only with the muscle of the neck could beat him.

-I thought you came to fight- Kratos said, squinting.

-I've already told you- replied Viggo while his body was covered with the reddish aura of touki -I have matured and learned to take myself less seriously-

Viggo jumped at breakneck speed and satisfactorily threw a punch that sent Kratos flying, colliding with the trees, and splitting them in half.

-What's wrong?- asked Viggo with a big smile -I thought you were my powerful master; I only see a weak man-

Kratos rested his hands on the ground and shook his head. Then he looked at Viggo and stood up, looked at him for a moment and as he did not respond to provocations, Viggo showed a smile full of eagerness to fight.

Viggo ran at full speed, came in front of Kratos, and threw another punch in the face. However, this time Kratos caught his fist with his hand.

-That's better- said Viggo throwing another punch, which was caught by Kratos with his other hand. However, Viggo widened his smile and jumped, gave him a headbutt on the forehead. Kratos let go of both hands covering his face and stepped back two steps. Viggo took the opportunity to move forward and punch him in the ribs. However, for Kratos it was as if nothing and he just stared at him. Then he threw a punch, but Viggo went under the fist and took advantage of connecting another punch in the ribs. Kratos stepped back another two steps and looked at Viggo with some annoyance. Don't hate, but the look you give to a child who never shuts up.

-Boy, stop playing- Kratos said in a serious tone.

Viggo threw out his guard and straightened his back -you know- he said -my father also has his disciples and was stern with them. So, the boys told me that they returned all the punishment they received for years- Viggo stopped smiling and looked at Kratos sternly -I plan to do the same-

Viggo threw himself to tackle, but Kratos reacted quickly and hit him with both fists on his back. Viggo fell to the ground releasing a breath of blood, but feeling the danger on his back, rolled to the right and heard a powerful stomp. Viggo stood up and saw his master more upset than ever. Then Viggo regained his smile and thought he would take it seriously; his master was upset.

Kratos ran, jumped forward, and threw a powerful punch. Viggo lifted both forearms and covered himself, but the blow was so strong that it threw him on his back to the ground. Viggo rolled, stopped his movement and was on his knees on the ground. More blood came out of his mouth again, and his smile had vanished. He always knew that his master was strong, but he could never measure it. He was well above the strength of a level 7, perhaps he was much stronger than Jason and the other level nine. Perhaps, he was as strong as his father.

Viggo's fury lit up in his chest like an inextinguishable flame, dividing into fury and passion for battle. Viggo took a deep breath and stood up, it was time, this feeling to the fullest, euphoria, joy, fury, and despair to live. It was all he felt when he struggled with Ottar to his full capacity. Viggo knew it was the decisive moment.

-You better fight seriously, old man. Otherwise, you will die- Viggo murmured, looking at Kratos as if he were his enemy.

Kratos just sniffed to the side and said -come-

From the plateau in the middle of the mountains you could hear the roar of two beasts destroying a forest. The trees creaked and split in half feeling a devastating fury. It was as if the forest had been transformed into the lair of two demons who couldn't finish fighting.

An hour later, Viggo was still fighting with Kratos, but the damage had accumulated. Although on the outside he was not damaged, on the inside his internal organs were burst. Viggo knew that the touki was not omnipotent, but he was happy with the result. Kratos had a bloodied face and several cuts on his body.

Viggo smiled once again and threw himself into a run with the intention of tackle. However, from the tired, his movements had become slow and the touki looked like a thin line of red aura. So, Kratos moved forward on the side, punched him in the ribs, punched him twice in the face and a strong kick in the abdomen that sent him flying. Viggo hit a pine tree and split it in half.

Viggo fell to the ground panting and spitting blood as he tried to raise his face to look at Kratos. Then he saw Kratos close his eyes and clench his fists as he let out a growl. All the wounds on his body healed, and it seemed that he had never fought.

-That, that's it, trap- Viggo muttered in a state of extreme tiredness and fainted.

An hour later, Viggo woke up lying on the ground next to the campfire. It felt like a mountain would crush his chest. He coughed a little and looked at the surroundings in a misplaced state. The trees were shaking, the branches were creaking, and the crackling of the firewood could be heard. Viggo turned his face to the left and saw the bonfire, it seemed very bright, but over time the light became less uncomfortable, and he saw his master sitting on the other side.

-I thought one should not have mercy on enemies- Viggo said quietly as he smiled.

-You're just a stupid boy. You are far from knowing what a real enemy is, someone you hate with all your might- Kratos replied looking at the bonfire.

Viggo looked at him lying down from the ground and could see the sadness in the look.

-I got lost in madness...- Kratos said.
