Deity 2.314

After the first day the sons received their runic invocations from "helpless" animals, they were forbidden in the house and anywhere in Orario until they were less harmful. Being linked to one- to two-year-old babies and being wild spirits, they behaved naturally, moving wherever they wanted and breaking everything.

On the other hand, Viggo left his house early the next day because he didn't want to deal with his wives' moodiness. So, he took the opportunity and gathered the two goddesses who advised him: Bishamon and Athena.

The three gathered in Bishamon's room in the adventurer family's mansion. The atmosphere was quiet, Dante and Vergil had just eaten, so they slept peacefully on their futons.

On the other hand, Bishamon, Athena and Viggo were sitting on the tatami. Viggo with red hair, tall and stocky. He was wearing his black noble clothes with white embroidery. Athena has purple, straight hip-length hair with a small belly bulging from her pregnancy. She wore her white robe. Finally, Bishamon, with blond hair, straightened and neat in a braid that rested on her shoulder and went down her chest. She was dressed in a purple kimono and was the only one sitting in seiza.

—It was quite peculiar— said Atena with a funny smile.

—Say it for yourself, you were a spectator— said Viggo —but Semiramis was furious. Uriel's little eagle broke the mirror of her boudoir—

Athena covered her mouth and laughed, because in everything, she did not like Semiramis.

Bishamon smiled more neutral and looked at Athena —come on, stop laughing. Let's start at once—

—Okay— Athena replied with a beautiful smile framed by long purple hair. She held out her left hand to Bishamon and her right hand to Viggo. The latter also did the same with Bishamon and Athena and the three were holding hands forming a triangle.

—Well, as we talked about it— said Viggo in a low tone of voice so as not to frighten the sleeping babies —they activate their divinity, but only a little, as if they took a strand of their power and channeled it to me—

—I understand— replied Athena, nodded and closed her eyes.

Bishamon also did the same and activated her divinity to a minimum. The gods could not manifest their divine power, but it was to the point of being able to modify their environment. If they did not exceed a certain level, there were no problems. That's why no one complained about Freya, whose divinity naturally seeped into enchantment and almost no one could resist her.

Athena and Bishamon leaked some of their divinity, but instead of releasing that power, they channeled that energy to Viggo, and he received it through his hands. Then he activated his clairvoyance and his vision rose to the heavens as if he were an eagle.

Viggo's vision traveled through the beautiful meadows in a southwesterly direction, flying over the great lake in the center of the continent that was so long that it looked like the sea. Then he continued through the woods, saw a pass between two mountains. On the mountain on the left was the kingdom of the Pallum and on the mountain on the right, a vassal kingdom of the kingdom of Rakia.

However, as interesting as it was to spy on neighboring kingdoms, Viggo continued to travel further south, where the Kaios Desert began. The steppe became arid until it became a lifeless desert.

Athena and Bishamon opened their eyes. A couple of minutes had passed since they manifested their divine power, but Viggo still said nothing. They thought he had failed, but as they looked at Viggo, they realized that his eyes were focused on something that was not in sight. It was, as if he weren't in this room. They stared at Viggo who remained still for almost half an hour and after that time, he let out a sigh.

Viggo took a pen and paper from his ring and began to write. First the name of a city and below names of people. Once he finished writing, he let out a sigh. Viggo looked at Bishamon and Athena. They looked back at him and asked him with their eyes.

—All right— said Viggo.

—How's that?— asked Athena, blinking several times.

—All right— Viggo repeated —I found people with a strong bond with Athena. They are the adventurers you were looking for—

—How do you know?—

—Looking into the distance is not the only thing I can see— said Viggo —also the future and the past. And believe me, they will be faithful to you to the end. His parents went to the goddess they served—

Athena narrowed her eyes when she heard Viggo say such words, since it implied destiny and an end that required courage to be able to face it. On the other hand, did the parents of the adventurers in their family serve another goddess?

—Don't put on that face— said Viggo —the future can change; I'm working for that—

Athena looked at Viggo, tall and stocky, red-haired, with eyes with a golden iris. At the same time, golden rays swept through his eyeballs. She nodded seriously, and Viggo responded in kind.

Viggo picked up the paper with the locations and names of the people he had to find —I'm going to take Sakura and Ana and we'll travel as soon as possible to find your family members. We'll be back before the deadline, and you must throw the last ray of sunlight—

—I understand, but it's kind of risky, can't you wait?—

—No— Viggo said and shook his head —the fate of these people is so delicate that at any moment they can disappear from this world. If I delay a day longer than planned, any of them could die—

—I understand, in that case, I charge you—

—Don't worry, Athena, I'm working on that— said Viggo, he made a sly smile and continuous —but I'd like to talk to you about something else—

—What is it about?— asked Athena as Bishamon looked at them.

—It's about our daughter— Viggo said as his eyes rolled down from Athena's eyes to her bulging belly. Atena also under her gaze and caressed her stomach delicately.

—What happens to her?—

—Well, she's special like all my children, but her mind will be restless, and she won't listen to anyone in the family. So, I'm going to talk to my father about taking her under his wing—

—Viggo, that's unfair— said Bishamon, understanding what it meant —Dante and Vergil are also demigods like you. No one will be able to receive falna—

—Love, I don't say it as a privilege— said Viggo —well, in a sense it is. However, what I mean is that only my father will have the answers and the ability to educate a girl like her—

—Why?— asked Bishamon earnestly.

—Well, she will be very intelligent and skilled. On the other hand, you don't need to worry, it's not like my father isn't going to take care of Vergil and Dante. Father is such a crazy grandfather that if it were up to him, he would have all his grandchildren at home and educate them on his own. What I want to get at is that father will have to be more careful in Scáthach—

—Viggo, is that her name?— asked Atena.

—Yes, once the baby is born, you'll think of that name— Viggo replied and looked into her eyes.

—Why?— asked Athena.

—Because her soul is very strong—

—However, that means following a backward path and I don't like that—

Viggo raised his eyebrows and smiled in surprise at the thought that a goddess as rational as Athena wanted to go against fate —what name would you like her to have?— he asked.

—I don't know, but I want to change her destiny— said Athena —I'll think about it and once I have it, I'll tell you—

—In that case, I have a name in mind, Calliope. Think about it a little and tell me if you like it—

Athena nodded and looked at Bishamon —Bishamon— said —our children, they are children of gods, will be the most troublesome and strong. I don't think your children are inferior to my daughter. Let's work together so that they grow strong and wise instead of arguing who is better than the other. We both want a good destiny for our children—

Bishamon looked at Athena and nodded. She was offended at the thought that Viggo wanted to put Athena's daughter in Kain's care and leave her children out. However, thinking about what Viggo said, he may be right. Kain wouldn't reject any of his grandchildren, but he may have to put more emphasis on some than others.

Viggo let out a sigh and murmur —in the end, all mothers believe their children are the best—

Bishamon and Athena stared at him seriously.

Viggo smiled and said —my mother also thought I was the best, you know, despite being "the great Viggo"—

That lightened the atmosphere between the two goddesses, and they laughed. Of course, neither of them saws Viggo in those days, but just listening to his stories, they realized that Viggo was chaos in person.

—Leaving aside our daughter— said Atena seriously —will Ana agree to this trip?—

—The trip has nothing to do with you. In many ways, it's my own thing, personal. If I told my father about this, he might go in my place— Viggo replied.

—They are the adventurers of my family—

—Yes, but that's only part of the story. On the other hand, Ana's is... her soul tendency—

Athena was silent, she didn't remember anyone as Ana, but she found it intriguing to know what made her other self to her before reincarnating. Thanks to Viggo, Athena and Bishamon had understood that the structure of the worlds repeated itself with small variations. That meant that a hundred gods with the same name could have been born, but they could vary in many things. For example, the god Hephaestus of Viggo's master's world was a giant and a crippled man full of deformities while in this world she was a beautiful, red-haired woman.

Viggo stayed a couple of hours with Bishamon, Athena, and the babies. However, he had to prepare his things for the trip, so he said goodbye and went home.

Upon entering the front door, Viggo found that everything was very quiet, but in the background, he heard footsteps marked with thin heels. Viggo advanced and went to the staircase that led to the second floor. Then he climbed the steps and the footsteps stopped at the top of the ladder. Viggo looked up and saw Hitomi looking at him from the top with a confident smile.

—I see you more confident— said Viggo.

—Not enough as you to leave such a mess and run away— Hitomi replied in a joking tone.

—Well, let's just say it's details—

—Great details— Hitomi said.

Viggo climbed the steps one by one as he watched her. Hitomi wore her red hair loose, hip-length. She wore a blue dress that contrasted with her hair. Two-pointed elf ears protruded.

Viggo reached the top and stopped in front of Hitomi. Viggo had to bow his head to look into her eyes —Did something good happen?— he asked.

—Yes, you could say— Hitomi replied.

—Mmm, I like that, tell me—

Hitomi looked at Viggo's arm and he offered it to her. She held onto the forearm and the two began to walk.

—Kung fu is incredible, Viggo— Hitomi said in a voice so calm it sounded like the rustle of the wind.

Viggo felt different from just listening to her, she was no longer Hitomi. He stopped and looked at her curiously.

Hitomi smiled and looked at him calmly.
