Shredded Papers

TW// blood

There was a lot going on in my mind, but I had to focus on my work.

I went to the manager's room- well, ex-manager's room- to pick some papers.

I sighed, it hadn't been two days and I was already tired of my new job.

Then I glanced at something- but it caught my eye.

A trash can.

It was full of shredded papers cut into thick strips.

I picked one out and it read 'Blueberry Inc. Customer List'

Wait… the shredded papers were… the customer lists?

I had a sudden flashback to Hye Su coming out of the manager room that night.

Does that mean…

"Everyone, let's have a glass for getting our first approval!" One of my colleagues suggested.

"Cheers!" Everyone held up their glasses.

It felt kind of nice, being around nice people and having fun.

"It's all thanks to Jung Hwa though, he gave his best and helped others even though he already had a lot to do." A colleague pointed out.

I stood up immediately, bowing a whole ninety degree, "Thank you sir. I hope I'll be more helpful in the future too."

I settled down after receiving a few more compliments, which made me feel ecstatic. I suddenly noticed Hye Su was staring at me.

Oh no. I almost forgot about her also being here.

I didn't get a chance to greet her properly!

I cursed at myself, reddening a little.

She was still looking at me.

I finally met her gaze and she averted hers.

It was pretty late, and cold.

Luckily I was sober enough to know where I was going.

Either it was my imagination, or I actually heard a bloodshot scream coming from the abandoned scrapped building.

Curiosity took over me and I went inside the building to check what was happening.

A man was kneeling, blood dripping from the side of his head.

I almost fainted at the gore scene in front of me.

My eyes darted to the person beside him, who had a rod-like thing in their hand.

That person… it was…

Choi Hye Su?

I backed away, this was too serious, I had to get away.

"Rim Jung Hwa."

Oh no.
