Trashing

"Get your hands up and stay still or we'll have to be rough with you, boy!" a guard growls as he approaches, reaching for the cuffs on his belt.

"Bro, just stop! I won't let you leave again!" Lillith begs, almost sobbing at this point.

*Smack!*

*Thud!*

Michael punches the closest guard in the forehead, knocking him out instantly as he turns his attention to the others, "Fuckers. This school is shit, and the rest of your a facilitating it. You've got a good response time for guys letting my sister get bullied!" he says as he sends a kick at another, sending him crashing into the nearby wall, unconscious.

The Principle shrieks, not at the assault, but at her hanging diploma crashing to the ground and shattering.

"D-dad! Are you okay?" Brooklyn asks her father who was delicious from the concussion he'd just sustained.

"Uh, no we'll get that toy for you later sweetheart. It's almost Christmas..." he mumbles in response, clearly out of it as there were only halfway through the year...

*Clack!*

Another guard's head is whipped back as a chair slams into his forehead, courtesy of Michael. He glares at the last remaining one, "You want what they got mate!?"

...

"I don't get paid enough for this shit!" he shouts and runs straight out the door...

Michael lets out a long sigh and lets his anger peter out, afterwards realising just how much shit he might've put himself and Lillith... "Fuck... he turns to look at the other scared people in the room, "You know what, let's just fix this... Erase." he casts, erasing the memory of the Principle, the unconscious guards, and the Richardson parents, leaving only Brooklyn to remember what'd just happened.

"You touch Lillith against and I'll dismember your family." he growls towards the girl before picking up Lillith and taking her home.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Why did you do that!? You might have erased the memories of some, but that guard, Brooklyn, and the police will know something happened!" Lillith angrily asks.

"I lost my temper a little, you remember I had problems with bullying too? What that cow said ticked me off..."

"What do I do now though!? They'll know something was wrong!"

He shrugs, "Eh, it'll probably be fine. If all else fails you can just come with me to Skyrim... Speaking of which, let's get home and see how the others are doing."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The warrior path seems like the best option, I think..." Tiffania says as the group looks at the respective skill trees, "More health means we can survive for longer..."

Megumin sniffs, "Wrong! Magic is always the answer! Why would you want to be a boring old warrior when you could use magic!?"

"Er, because we only have the Flames spell? A spell only taught to Novice mages who just started learning magic?" Saya drawls before pointing at something, "Logically, Stealth in this game doesn't work like it does in real life, so combine that with a bow and nothing could bother us..."

"A stealth archer?"

"Yeah, we could also avoid annoying fights if we want... Unless you want to go with the idiot's idea and be forced to constantly buy Magicka potions to do anything at all."

"Hey! I'm sure a few levels of Magicka and we'll be very strong!"

*Click!*

"You're all wrong! The correct path is to pick a strong Companion and let them do all the work!" Michael announces as he enters the room with a cross-looking Lillith at his side.

"Eh, they would work?" Megumin questions.

"I mean, the Companions are all 'Essential'... But I think this would only work on low difficulty..."

Tiffania sighs, "How did the meeting go? You looked ready to bring Derflinger with you..."

Lillith scoffs, "It wouldn't have changed anything if he had, He beat up everyone there then erased their memories of it... All except Brooklyn."

. . .

Michael looks away, "I... May have lost my temper slightly, but it's fine, no one died and Lillith's bully probably won't bother her again. A win-win for everyone involved."

"You shattered Mr Richard's nose and hand!"

"He fell down the stairs."

"And the security guards!?"

"Nerve gas. It's always Nerve gas, ask the Russians." he shrugs dismissively.

...

Lillith rubs her face, "Can someone help me get this gum out of my hair? I'll have to get a haircut otherwise..."

Saya nods and waves her hand, causing all the dirt, gum, and other uncleanly things on her to disappear.

"W-wait, you can do that!?" Lillith asks, baffled.

"Alteration magic. Pretty useful but doesn't replace a good soak. How about I get the bath ready for you?" Saya nods, her inner-Japanese showing.

Lillith smiles, "That would be great!"

The duo leave, allowing Tiffania to address Michael, or at least, try to.

"Look, no one died, and I didn't dismember the bully, things went well!"

"Only in comparison to what you usually would've done... Is this going to be a common thing, Michael? I thought when all the threats were gone we could be, I don't know, normal? But here in a peaceful world, you're still willing to butcher people who even slightly irritate you..."

"A threat's a threat. I'm not gonna stand around and twiddle my thumbs when I could be dealing with it... And half-measures only leave room for retaliation, if you're going to do anything, do it properly."

"That's not reasonable and you know it, Michael! Just, while we're in this world, please slow down, even a little... For me?"

...

"Fine, I doubt we'd be running into any more problems anyway..." he looks to the screen, "Hey, Megumin... You leveled up Destruction magic while no one was looking..." he notes as the explosion girl's cheeks redden under the criticism.

"I promise, this is the way correct choice!"

"I've played this game before, magic sucks ass..."

"No, you suck ass!"

"Nou"
