God of Gambling

*SHHHWIING!*

"Seriously, I can't believe the entire Ring and everything on it was so worthless..." Michael grumbles out as he, Saeko, and Megumin step through yet another Dimension Gate. He'd only gotten a single level for all that effort... Well, 'relative effort'...

"At least we got all that cool aliens stuff." Megumin assures him.

"Yeah, I've got a shit load of Covenant vehicles in the garage now, wonder how they'd do against Miraak?"

"We have a garage?" Saeko asks confused.

"Yeah, it'd kind of the first floor, except on a space-expanded-... Eh, whatever. I'll show you it when we get back." he'd learned with Rubick's space-expansion spells how to store far greater objects into the Book's inventory.

"Soo... Where are we now?" Megumin asks, looking around the place. They seemed to be in some kind of forested semi-medieval village with clear Japanese elements...

"No idea, it's like a fifth-grader tried to draw the past looked like... They don't even have cars but have Neon signs for their shopfronts? How the fuck does that work?"

"And a casino with slot machines..." Saeko adds, gesturing over to the eye-sore.

"Let's try another world, this place looks-" Michael starts but halts when he spots a figure hopping across rooftop a good distance away, they wore a headband with a strange symbol on it. "Huh... We're in Naruto..."

""Naruto?"" his friends both parrot, neither having seen the show before. He'd not bothered showing them either mostly due to how much filler was in it. Without access to the internet he'd had to store everything of worth on hard drives, he'd only taken the Manga versions of Naruto...

He nods, "This place might have something cool after all."

He was thinking specifically about the Dojutsu's like the Sharingan and Bakugan, all of them could be implanted so it was an easy method to power up his friends... He was somewhat sure it wouldn't do much for himself, but he'd give himself some eyes anyway just to be sure.

Now just to figure out where he was and at what point in the timeline... He wasn't a huge fan and it'd been a while since he'd seen the show, so they could be in Boruto for all he knew... Eh, Boruto, gross...

"Me and Megumin'll need some 'proper' clothes if we're going to blend in. You guys look for a clothing store and I'll find somewhere to trade some gold."

------------------------------------

They spend around two days just getting themselves properly situated in the town, and they soon learn where they are on the timeline... Konoha had only just recently been attacked by Sand under Orochimaru, and since they'd luckily landed in Tanzaku, Naruto and Jiraiya would be there looking for Tsunade soon enough.

Of course, they'd be bringing Sasuke, Itachi, and that fish guy, Kisamu or whatever his name was. This, gave Michael the perfect opportunity to get things done. After all, to make the Sharingan effective you needed to swap eyes with a close relative... Though, didn't they both need to be Mangekyou Sharingan for that to work?

Eh, he'd deal with it when he got there.

For now the trio spent their time in Tanzaku as if it were an actual vacation. Micahel kept track of everything in town but it was relatively relaxing really.

Of course, he also took up the opportunity to play poker against Tsunade... And he was the only one enjoying himself...

"Hell no! How is this horned-brat beating me with every hand!? He's got to be cheating!" the blonde woman with a huge set of 'personality' exclaims as she jabs a finger at him.

"Don't hate the player, hate the game, grandma." he grins mockingly as he scoops the chips towards him.

"Are you trying to die!? Don't think I won't beat you in front of your little girlfriends there!" she threatens.

"You, beat me? Right..."

"You think I can't!? You know who I am right!?" the half-drunk woman growls despite the attempts of her assistant to de-escalate the situation.

"Wanna make a bet of it?"

...

-----------------------------

Michael and Tsunade found themselves in a desolate part of the forest with Megumin, Saeko, and Shizune watching a good distance away from them. "S-sensei! We should just cut our losses-"

"Quiet, I've got a bet to win and a brat to beat!" she heatedly says.

"Just remember, any deal you make with me is final." Michael offers with a smile.

Tsunade twitches slightly at that but shakes it off, thinking it's just pre-fight jitters or the alcohol getting to her. "Are you ready? Because I'm not putting you back together if you can't take it!"

"It's ladies first you know, the older ones get preference."

"OLDER!?" she shouts as she blasts forwards, leaving a crater as she launches at him with full intent to use her superstrength against him. "TAKE THIIIS! BRAAT!"

*BAANG!*

Shizune looks down, unable to watch the young man get brutalized by her drunk teacher... This wouldn't be the first time it'd happened, nor would it be the last...

"Huh?" Tsunade's voice brings back Shizune's attention however, both are shocked to see Michael easily holding the Sannin's extended fist.

"I thought you'd be stronger than this..." he admits with a shrug, "You surrender yet?"

"Hell no!" she responds by throwing a kick up at his sternum, which he dodges by stepping to the side while still gripping her hand.

She throws another haymaker with her left hand, which he also catches and uses to tie up her arms, accidentally pushing up her already formidable bust in the process. Ignoring that, he slips under her arm and at her back to perform a suplex, which leaves another crater as she lands headfirst in the ground.

With that, Michael brushes the dust from his clothes and looks over to a shocked Shizune who looked halfway to simply running away... "So, pretty sure I win this one..."
