Fifth Hokage?

Jiraiya rooftops towards the destruction occurring in the north of Tanzaku. He'd been trying to track Naruto but the trail had gone cold hours ago... Thankfully, he was certain that this disturbance had something to do with them. He could feel it.

He somersaults through the air and lands a the end of a road where he could see two figures battling. One, is a woman with purple hair and Sharingan eyes. The other, his old teammate Orochimaru, was also clearly coming off worse in their exchange.

"A-ah, Jiraiya, my old-guhk-," the snake Sannin pauses to duck under a beheading slash from Saeko, "-Teammate! A-assist me, I will tell you where Tsunade and your new apprentice is!"

"Hah, you know where Naruto is?... Then again, maybe I should leave you alone for what you did to Hiruzen." Jiraiya casually and callously responds. His eyes were mainly focused on Saeko, specifically Samehada on her back.

Saeko cuts a large gash in the snake's face, removing his eyes before hopping backwards and pointing her blade at a building in the distance, "Tsunade and your student are in that building, leave." she demands.

Orochimaru sends an imploring look at Jiraiya, one that is fully ignored. While the Toad Sage wasn't usually a spiteful person, the things Orochimaru had done disturbed and disgusted him, even without the murder of their sensei.

"Thank you for your help, Miss, maybe next time we could book a hotel for ourselv-"

*Shik!*

His hair hardens and deflects a knife thrown by Saeko, "I suppose not then?" he chuckles before hopping away, leaving her former teammate to his fate.

She turns her eyes to her opponent, "How do you want to die, snake? Tell me and I may grant it."

"Death does not suit me. Maybe you should try it yourself before offering it to others?" he retorts.

"Alone and with a nought but a pitiful squeak then." she decides, using Sukue to get behind Orochimaru and then performing Nimat, cutting his body into many smaller chunks.

A smaller, disfigured Orochimaru crawls out of what was left of its stomach, but Saeko just spears it through the back with Kakonoitami. The snake gives one last pained yelp before collapsing, vomiting up his Kusanagi in the process.

Saeko flicks the blood from her blade and sheaths it, then proceeds to inspect the Kusanagi, a Japanese katana that had around the same strength as the blade Michael had forged for her, somehow... Its ability to extend at will and exudes incredibly powerful poison were gimmicks to her, but could be useful in some battles.

She nods to herself and affixes it below Kakonoitami, making both ready to be drawn at a moment's notice. To some, she looked kind of ridiculous with two katanas and a huge sword on her back, but those who could sense it would know to be wary of her.

"Hey, looks like you're all finished up here." Michael calls out as he walks towards her, dragging a drooling catatonic Kabuto by his leg behind him. "We should get back, we've basically destroyed half the town, and I'm not looking to go on the run again, I had enough of that back in Tiff's world."

----------------------------

The duo arrive back at the hotel and are greeted by a gaping Jiraiya who was stiffly conversing with Tsunade and her resurrected family.

"S-so... This man, he brought them back... No strings attached?"

Tsunade shakes her head, "Not exactly..."

"Apparently, she sold her soul and ours too. We are pledged eternally to her new master, even our children wouldn't be saved..." Dan Kato explains with a low sigh.

"Eh, children? How's that work?" he jabs a finger at Tsunade, "Aren't you like, double his age now-"

*THUD!*

Jiraiya's head goes through the nearby wall from a punch by Tsunade. "Talk about my age again Jiraaiiiya!"

"Tsunade, what's he mean?"

"Y-you didn't tell him?" Jiraiya's muffled voice exclaims from within the wall.

...

"Dan... You've been dead for years... I'm over fifty years old now..." she admits, unable to keep his gaze.

"Don't worry about that, under me you guys'll live for however long I want." Michael states as he walks through the door.

Jiraiya pulls his face out of the wall and glares at him, "Who are you, and why are you doing this? There's clearly more to this than you're saying!" he accuses.

Michael shrugs, "Obviously, but I've been pretty upfront about everything so far."

He walks through the room and picks up the three unconscious people, Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto before throwing them at the Toad Sage. "Alright, it's time to go, you guys pack up your shit and meet me at the town gates."

"Wait! You can't just leave!?" Jiraiya exclaims as he tries to juggle the bodies.

"Try stop me." he smirks, grabbing Saeko and Megumin before Blinking away.

...

"Tsunade... You can't... Me and the kid are even here to have you become Hokage, you can't leave now! Konoha needs you! We need you!" Jiraiya pleads.

"You're going to become Hokage, sis!?" Nawaki excitedly exclaims.

She shakes her head, "No, not even if I wanted to, which I don't. I'm made a deal, and I'm not backing out now..." she holds her hand out and summons the contract bound to her soul in a puff of fire, displaying it clearly for Jiraiya to see. "There's no going back now."

...

"Where will you go?..."

"Far away, so far you'll never see any of us again." Tsuande replies, she pays Jiraiya on the shoulder and gives him a reassuring nod, "You can handle things here without me, I'd only get in the way anyway."

"No... Tsuna..."

Tsunade takes Nawaki and Dan by the hands and leads them towards the door, she sends a glance at the still silently contemplating Shizune, "Coming?"

...

Shizune glances between Tsunade and her Uncle, and after a moment of thought, nods. "Yes..." she straightens her back, "Who'll keep you from gambling everything away without me there, Sensei."

"Still gambling, huh?" Dan asks as they leave the hotel and Tsunade lets out a groan.
