Beatrice needs a friend.

"Hoho, an Oni, huh? But you look a bit different from an ordinary Oni, and you are one of the strongest Oni I have seen." Puck commented while floating in front of Kaji's face.

"Well, you're the strongest spirit I have ever met too, anyway my name is Kaji, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, my name is Puck!" The floating cat introduced himself, with a happy-go-lucky smile. After some more talking between the spirit and Kaji, the red-haired Oni left the room, and walked to do who knows what.

"Puck, why did you appear so suddenly? Aren't you tired? After all, you were fighting for a long time without rest." Emilia asked with a bit of worry, that showed on her face. She was worried for the cat spirit, after all, he fought Roswall when he suddenly appeared and suggested for Emilia to become the next king. Puck didn't agree with it, but Emilia did after pondering about it after the fight between the spirit and the clown.

"That boy is strong, he could tell that I was residing in the crystal. And that's why I decided to come out and greet him, I just didn't want to be rude." Puck said while hiding his true thoughts behind his happy-go-lucky smile and attitude.

"Oh, So does that mean you're better now?" The silver-haired half-elf girl asked the floating cat.

"Yes, Lia I'm better, but I will go back and rest for a bit more, and you should rest too, you can start with learning the things you will need to learn tomorrow. So don't push yourself too much." Puck said as he started returning back into the crystal to sleep.

While Emilia went to rest, Kaji entered the library where Beatrice was sitting on a chair as she was reading a book. He frequently would visit the library, and every time he was here he would ask Beatrice questions about different topics. And today was the same, as Kaji looked at the blond loli with a small smile on his face.

"I'm back!" Kaji said loudly, making the loli flinch.

"You are here again, I suppose." Beatrice looked at him, while exhaling deeply, she was starting to get used to his presence. But not like she would tell him that. "So what is it that you want now, I suppose?"

"What? Can't I just visit my dear friend, who is always locked away in her library, leaving me, her best friend, to worry for her." Kaji said, trying to get a reaction from the loli.

"Who do you think is your friend again, I suppose?" Beatrice asked with a bit of malice in her voice.

"What, you don't want to be my friend, Beatrice, you are hurting my fragile heart." Kaji said while doing a grasping motion at his chest.

"Stop acting like that!" The loli said, while angrily stomping on the ground, with her right leg if only she knew how cute she looked at the moment.

"Alright, alright, sorry I have some interesting news for you today, our new guest arrived just now, and it seems there's a spirit with her." Before Kaji could continue talking, Beatrice interrupted.

"I already know that, so why are you bringing this up?" She said while looking at him.

"Well, it's pretty simple, I thought you could use some more friends, and as a spirit, I thought the two of you could get along nicely, right?" Kaji said while walking around the library.

"Humph, what are you talking about, instead of thinking of such unnecessary things you should be thankful to me for letting you enter this place, I suppose!" The loli said with a prideful tone of voice.

And so Kaji continued to talk with Beatrice. He knew even though she acted like she didn't like him being here, Kaji knew that she was a soft-hearted person who just didn't want to lose anyone in her life again.

After leaving the library Kaji couldn't help but want to see how the plot will change, all because of his existence. He didn't care that something would change, after all, he made preparations to take down any archbishop of the witch's cult, if needed. He had prepared plans, he tried his best to remember their abilities and how to take them all down.

Kaji wanted to eradicate the witch's cult, not because of revenge, but simply because they were a danger to him, and others. After all, some archbishops had just mind-boggling abilities, and he didn't like it. Therefore he made preparations spells and many more things he could think of, and because of these preparations, he couldn't go to another world again. But that was, for the time being, he was sure that when he was done dealing with the cult, he would be going back to the world of dxd.
