Cold

After everyone had finished eating, Julia and Caiden went to their room, where she sat on the bed and he stared at her.

"Y- You are staring? What's the matter? You can sleep here if you want," she said, patting the bed and he smiled, then got onto the bed and she sighed.

"You said it was fine for me to sleep here," he said upon noticing her trembling hand.

"I know, and it's fine," she said as she lay beside him and he covered her with the blanket.

"Try to get some sleep, Julia, good night," he advised.

"Good night, Caiden," she replied, and he turned off the lights in the room.

After a little while, Caiden fell asleep Julia got off of the bed, and opened the balcony door.

"It's nice and cold," she said, feeling the cold breeze brush against her face, and Caiden's eyes opened as the air circulated in the room.

"J- Julia," he muttered, turning around to see her standing in the balcony.
