There must always be and end, before a new beginning

Agrius arrived at Richard panting heavily Richard took of the decoy and told someone to give him some water.

Richard opened it and saw the message from Marika.

We are first heading towards the castle just in case we are fallowed by the wolfs, send Felix to me and let him guide us to where you are now.

Also tell the mother of the baby he is fine and unharmed and will be fed on time. We expect to arrive with her child before dark.

P.S. All the decoys and the baby it self's carry sent absorption balls so everything is sent-less and tracking us won't be easy for them

Richard went over to the woman and relayed Marika message. The woman cried in relieve knowing her son was fine and well taken care after.

Agito finally arrived with the wounded Ferox and he called for Genus.

Genus had a good look at his wounds and said "Luckily the little girl gave me a black bag, or else he had to wait for her to come back and then he would be at deaths door."

Genus opened the bag and took out a healing pill and some bandage and started to clean and bandage him up. He gave Ferox a healing pill and let him rest.

Agrius who was worried for him laid next to him and guarded him, Aura also joined him.

3 hours had pasted and everybody slowly started to settle down.

Richard heard a familiar screech and looked in the direction it was coming from.

He saw the captain and the soldiers coming in their direction.

When they arrived the captain dismounted his horse and reported to Richard.

"My King everybody is save, healed up and counted for. We were fallowed but once we reached the castle they retreated. We stay there and waited before we depart again, I also sended out a few scouts to be certain it was save to travel again."

The woman then came running toward Richard and heard the next thing that was reported to him

"When we arrived at the village we saw her defending a house and she was attacked by multiple wolfs as she was cornered and couldn't do much accept for using her body as a shield in her dragon form, We lured the enemy away from her, but some got in to the house and were going after the baby, She then sended her wolfs inside and defend the child, after she cleared the wolfs who were still standing in front of her and ran inside."

"When she didn't come out side after a few minutes I went in there to see why she hadn't come out. Inside I saw 3 enemies and her wolfs were holding two at bay but the 3rd one was attacking her."

"She was standing over the cradle of the baby and used her own body as a shield, because it was the only way to protect the child."

"I went in and I killed the 3 enemies that were in the room with her. And when the enemy was retreating she took some medicine to heal her wounds and started to clean up the baby since it had some of her blood on him."

"There were no injuries on him and thanks to her the baby was calm through the whole ordeal."

Marika came up to Richard and the mother of the child.

Richard saw her cloth were completely ripped at the back and her arms had pretty bad tears in it too.

Marika had a warm smile on her face, 'I'm sorry it took so long but there were 43 soldiers who wanted to say goodbye to him and wish him a happy and healthy life.'

'They also wondered if it was alright to come and visit him from time to time' Marika handed over the baby over to its mother.

The mother nodded.

'How am I ever going to repay you?'

Marika smiled at the woman, 'Just raise him well and love him with all you have.'

Marika then handed over a bag to the woman 'I took some thing from your house for him so you should be good for a few days.'

The woman took over the bag 'Please come and visit us whenever you want.'

Marika nodded.

The captain also said his goodbyes to the baby "Grow up healthy and become strong, not only for yourself but also for your mother."

Richard then took Marika over to Agrius, Ferox and Aura.

Genus told her how bad his wounds were and the treatment he gave him.

Marika crouched down and looked at Ferox and stroked his head.

'You really did a good job protecting Agrius.'

Agrius and Aura moved away from Ferox and Marika took of the bandage and started to heal him up.

When Marika was finished, Ferox regained his senses, "Big sister?"

'What is it?' She said with a warm voice.

"Those wolfs are not from this world."

'Do you know where they're from?'

Ferox shook his head "They smelled like the sun."

Marika petted Ferox. 'When your better lets go hunting and capture one.'

"Sounds like fun." And Ferox fell asleep again.

Richard came in to the tent where Marika was and inspected her cloth.

"That wolf really got you good." As Richard ran his finger over her back.

'I know it was a reckless move of me but my body moved on its own.'

Richard then place a kiss on her back. "Sweetheart please don't apologize to me, instincts are a part of us and makes us move before we know it, and thanks to that a life got saved.'

'But still…I told Khai never to act as a living shield, because I wouldn't do that. But look at me now…'

"He will understand if you explain it to him."

Marika then said 'Ferox said the wolfs weren't from this world and they smelled like the sun.'

"Well since they are coming to the engagement banquet we can ask them."

Marika nodded, 'I thought it might be fun to hunt those fur coats and see how they would like it if we go for one of their pups.'

Richard smiled "So you're going to take the boy's with you?"

Marika nodded, 'And Canus, I think he would like it to.'

Richard ruffled her hair, "But don't get hurt like you did today."

Then Marika remembered the two brother who were now working at Saxeus.

'Let's invite those two too, they said they were good in setting up traps on the spot if they needed…That day was also a fun hunt.' Marika smiled.

"When are you planning on your little hunting party?"

'The day after the banquet, I still have an execution planned tomorrow.'

Richard gave her a kiss, "Let's get some sleep; Noir, Spike, Agito and Felix are patrolling so…"

Marika nodded.

[Next day]

Marika woke up and asked Ferox how he was feeling.

"I'm all good now thanks to you big sister" As he nuzzled her.

Agrius on the other hand felt down because Ferox got hurt because of him, but Ferox kept telling him that it wasn't his fault.

Richard walked up to Agrius, "I know how you feel, but blaming yourself won't change what happened and even if you did fight, it could have been worse. You both have gotten hurt very badly and then you were unable to deliver the message Marika had entrusted to you and the enemy would have known that you were carrying a decoy, and that could have resulted in a bad situation for Marika."

Marika also came up to them and she patted both Agrius and Ferox.

You both did well, but I want both of you remember that life is one big battle. While we get hurt pretty bad sometimes, if we survive we can learn from it and get stronger and smarter about how to move when we get in a similar situation again.'

'Now I know you guys don't want to go home, so can you do something for me?'

"What is it big sister?"

'Can you stay a few days with my children at The Forest of Eternal Night?'

"Yes sister."

Marika patted them both and told them to go there.

Agrius and Ferox nuzzled Marika and left for the forest.

"Why are you sending them there?"

'I don't know why but I have a slight bad feeling.'

"I'm sure they're fine, but I understand why you send them over. Never ignore you gut feeling and motherly instincts."

'I hope this is just me being overly worried.'

Richard gave her a kiss, "Sweetie there is nothing wrong with that, especially what happened then."

"I to lately have a bad feeling like someone wants to create friction between us."

'Well you know me, I'll murder anybody who want to stand between us.'

Richard smiled at her.

[Mansion]

Luca was calling his brother when Genus came in.

"Let's go!"

"What? Where are we going?"

"To the castle of course."

"But isn't the banquet tonight?"

"Did you forget what else there is accept for the banquet?"

"She is going to need us all when and if she breaks down, you think he can handle her all alone?"

"He should be able to…"

"Genus what do you mean by she needs you all?"

"Well today is the execution day of the last doctor who traumatized your sister."

"Luca you go with Genus, if I could I would be there too, you know damn well she needs us even if it's just to have a shoulder to cry on."

"Yes brother…"

Luca stood up and Genus gave Alex a thumbs up to him.

"I'll see you later and let me know how she is after the execution."

"I will."

Alex ended the call and Luca got some things and left with Genus to the castle.

Marika stood in front of the door where the last man was held.

She took a deep breath and opened the door.

As she was looking at the man, she started to laugh.

'Look at you, you look like you just came out of hell.'

The man looked at Marika with eyes that didn't know what was going on anymore.

"Who are you?"

'Me? I'm the grim reaper.' She smiled.

'So how was hell?'

"I…I… What did I do to deserve this?"

Marika laughed 'Well I asked myself the same question when I was 5 years old all the way up till this day. Why did I have to be stabbed, dissected and nearly died so many times.'

Marika changed to a 5 year old, 'Mister was it fun for you to do the things you did to me?'

The man looked at Marika "You…"

"Why are you here? Why are you still alive!?"

'What do you mean?'

"You should be dead! Dead I tell you!"

"I brought you to that place again so they could take out your Magic and let you rot and die!"

Marika turned back and her face looked cold and murderess.

'So it was you!'

'Well to bad, I survived it all and now I'm here to take your life.'

Richard, Luca and Genus were close and heard what he said. Now that Luca knew who actually had kidnapped his sister in her sleep and took her there, he wished that she made him suffer and give him an agonizing death.

Marika calmed herself down and then said. 'Did you know all your friends are already dead.'

"No, no, no, that can't be."

'Oh yes, they all died, two were killed by me and two were killed on my orders. Do you want to see it?'

Marika showed him the two that had died at The Green Dragon Clan.

'You see…he died of a 7th poison, he took a medicine that would kill anybody accept for me.'

She then showed how she went ballistic on the other doctor.

'Well accept for what he had done to me…he had to try and kill an reincarnate soul of a dear friend of mine and then wanted to have his way with the soul of my reincarnate cousin…all because she looks a little like me.'

The man looked in horror how Marika cut the man and the rage behind it.

'Well there is still more.'

The man looked at Marika "You're a monster!"

'Am I now?'

The man looked in utter fear at her "You're a monster, you should be killed!"

Marika patted the man on the shoulder. 'Well you're the ones who made me like this…I never asked for it in the first place.'

Marika was still calm.

Marika showed the man who got killed by Richard, 'I asked my husband to kill him because it would be too much trouble to bring him to me and I was done with him anyway. And I think this would also help my husband vent his anger on what you guys did to me.' Marika said with a smile.

The man looked utterly lost now.

Marika stood up and asked 'Shall we go outside for a walk? Don't you think it's too cramped and stuffy in here?'

Marika placed a different set of chains on him and released him from the wall.

When they came outside Marika took a deep.

As she walked with the man on the chains she started to talk to him.

'Did you know I had to suffer the moment I was born… but what do you care… I mean look at what you did to me. Even toughed I let you taste what hell was like you still want me dead, why?'

The man looked at her "Because you're an unnecessary existence."

'Humm…You think so? Why?'

"Because of you! You will destroy the three worlds!"

Marika laughed 'Well looking at it from your perspective I'm already destroying the three worlds.'

"Why are you laughing!"

'Well isn't it funny…I mean the only one who has that power is The Guardian Dragon.'

'How am I… A dragon with only halve her magic, capable of doing something like that?'

The man looked at Marika not understanding her.

"But you just said…"

'Like I said; from your perspective…You greedy bastards don't care if people die or get hurt because of your greed. And since me and your brother are working on an peaceful and friendly relations, we are ending the corruption and greed in your world. So in a matter of sense I indeed am destroying The 3 World, I'm destroying the corruption…'

'And before I even started in The World of Light, I was already working on the same destruction here in The World of the Dark.'

'Say before you die…Do you wish to speak to your brother one last time?'

"And then what…What good will that do? It's not like he can save me…"

'True…but aren't you selfish? I mean, doesn't your brother have the right to know you die today and have few last words with you? Is it so hard for you to at least give your own brother and nephew some peace of mind and show at least your remorse to them?'

The man then agreed to it and Marika called King Luce.

"Queen Yumaria, to what do I owe the honor of your call?"

'Who is with you in your room?'

"It's only me and Michael."

'Alright, while it should be a day of celebration it's also a day to mourn.'

'I'm sorry to inform you…but today is the day your brother will leave the world.'

'I had a talk with him he wishes to speak to you and Michael one last time.'

"Alright I will listen to him one last time."

Marika signed to a guard and handed over his change to him.

'Since this is a family matter I'll be stepping aside and leave you three to talk in privet.'

Marika sat down under the a tree and waited for them.

"Brother…to think you did something so horrible…I just feel ashamed that you are even my brother."

"I'm sorry…but still she is a treat to the worlds!

"No she is not uncle! The only reason is you see her that way is because you are too greedy and don't care for anybody but yourselves!"

"Brother did you ever stopped to wonder how she would feel? We made her to who she is today…"

"Out of all the people who got killed, she was the only one who wouldn't accept that fate and started to fight back and kill anybody who tried to kill her."

"Isn't it enough…even if she is the Guardian of the 3 Worlds and you would have succeed in killing her, it doesn't mean there wouldn't be a new one after her."

"We won't beg for mercy, because me and everybody in this world has witnessed what has been done to her. So please accept your fate and I shall pray for a better life in your next."

"I will ask Queen Yumaria to send your body home so we can give you a proper burial."

"Thank you Luce, thank you Michael… I'm sorry for being so stupid."

"Goodbye uncle, may you live a good life in the next one."

"Goodbye brother…"

Luce ended the call and Marika walked back.

She then said 'Before you leave this world I have one more thing to show you.'

The man watch the footage of the doctor who died by the hands of Cinis.

'He survived two attacks from me, but when he decided to steal from merchant and claim the green house that was gifted to me by King Cillus, I showed him who I was confronted him with the past and had him locked up.'

'When I decided to end his life he fully accepted it and sincerely apologize to me, by showing his remorse to me I granted him a peaceful and painless death.'

'So how do you want to die?'

The man asked if she had a dagger or a sword?

'I have.'

Marika pulled out Concordia (Harmony) she got from Rosalyn.

The man than place a spell on the blade "With this I want you to stab me and the curse I place on the blade will be engraved on my soul and can only be broken when my soul stops being greedy."

'And what will happen to the soul if it doesn't?'

"Then the body will die and the soul will be reborn again and again until it let's go of the greed."

'So no matter the age the body will die none the less.'

Marika looked at the man 'Humm… alright I think it's a fitting punishment.'

Marika then stabbed the man with full force through his heart.

"Thank you, I hope you can finally have peace now."

Marika smiled 'Well that is something that can only be obtained over time.'

After a few minutes Genus came up to her and he confirmed he had passed.

Marika pulled out her sword and walked away, not saying a word.

After an hour Marika still hadn't returned and everybody started to worry.

"Where could she have gone to?" Luca asked.

"Well there are no reports of any destruction anywhere so we can assume she isn't letting out her anger."

Another half an hour passes and a Templar came to Richards office.

"Your Majesty!, Our Queen!"

"First catch your breath and calm down." Richard said to him.

The young Templar finally calmed down "Your Majesty, The High Priest send me over because Her Majesty is in the great dragon room crying, we and the ancestors can't seem to calm her and console her."

Richard jumped up from his seat "How long has she been in there?"

"Almost an hour."

"This is bad…" Luca said. "She can't stay in there for too long or else she gets an overload of Azure energy and that will harm her.

"We tried to get her out of the room and even the ancestors seem to advise her to get out after half an hour but she wouldn't budge."

"Even though the ancestors lowed the pressure so much that we can't feel it she needs to get out within the next half an hour or else her health…"

Richard rushed out of office and flew to the temple with high speed.

Luca and Genus fallowed him.

Richard, Genus and Luca arrived and saw Marika crying.

Richard walked over to her and saw his mother and father.

"Son I casted a spell on her that would protect her but you have to take her out, she absorb to much energy already."

'We don't know what happened for her to be like this, but please don't leave her side.' His mother pleaded him.

Richard nodded "Mom, dad; Thank you for watching over us and protecting her."

Richard smiled at them.

Richard picked up Marika and took her out of the room.

Marika was still sobbing in Richards arms.

Genus had a good look on her inner energy and told Luca to put in half of his so it would be back in balance again

While Luca was doing so he saw his sister was slowly calming down.

"Sis let it all out, you have held it in for so long, so cry as much as you need so you can close this chapter of your life."

"Sweetie you endure it so well, now this battle is over and you had your revenge, take a rest. We all will be there for you every step of the way toward you're your final destination."

Richard gave her a kiss on the head and Marika started to nod and doze off.

"She really exhausted herself this time." Genus said.

When they arrived back at the castle Richard brought her to his room and laid her down on the bed.

Luca made the promised call to his brother and told him how she was.

"Let me talk to her once she wakes up."

"Alright…When are you and Ivy arriving here?"

"We will be there in an hour or so."

"Alright see you then."

Richard was in his study talking to little Marika and Henry and told them what just had happened.

'Is big sister going to be alright?'

"She will be…Why don't you go to her and show her how much you have trained and give her some of her favorite flowers."

Little Marika nodded, but before she went to Marika she was going to ask everybody what their favorite flowers were so she could make them and show her big sister that they all cared for her and wanted to help her.

As little Marika was done asking everybody close to her big sister she went to the guard and the two captains.

"If it isn't our little Marika, what brings you here?"

'Big sister had her revenge and was crying a lot…So I want to make lots of flowers for her so she knows we are there for when she needs us… because big sister always helped us when we need help.'

'So I came to ask what your favorite flower is so I can give them to big sister.'

The soldiers and the captains were thinking. "What about this… Why not make 150 black roses and 150 Dark pink roses. She knows the meaning behind them so I think it fits with what we want to say to her."

Little Marika then asked 'What is the meaning?'

"Black roses; major change and new beginnings, which may inspire the confidence of courage and hope. The dark pink roses; is a sign of appreciation and gratitude, with a deeper sense of strength and conviction."

Little Marika eyes brighten up and nodded 'I will do that, I bet she will love it when I tell her'

The captain's both ruffled her hair "Thank you for conveying our message."

Then one of the soldiers came up to her, "Hey pipsqueak, what are you doing here?"

Little Marika looked at the soldier 'Not gonna tell you, and if you call me pipsqueak one more time I'm gonna beat you up.'

The soldier laughed "Alright little Marika…I was looking for you because of the banquet tonight your training is going to be rescheduled to the day after tomorrow."

'Why?'

Because Queen Yumaria is going to hunt the day after the banquet and we need to be on standby."

'Alright…Then I can save up my energy and beat you up twice as hard then.' Little Marika said cheeky.

The man started to laugh. "I'm looking forward to it."

Little Marika went to Marika's room and with the help of the servants she prepared all the flowers for her big sister.

The little girl was sitting on the couch and was reading a book about magic and waited till her big sister finally woke up.

After an hour she heard Marika was waking up, and walked over to her.

'Big sister?'

Marika open her eyes and saw the little girl and hugged her 'You always know how to calm your big sister.'

She then saw all kinds of different flowers.

'Did you make them all?'

Little Marika nodded 'I asked for everybody's favorite flower so you know they are thinking of you and show you that they will always be there for you.'

Marika smiled and then asked 'What about those black and dark pink roses?'

'They are from the soldiers and the captains.'

Marika had a warm smile on her face because she knew what they wanted to tell her.

'What time is it?'

'It's nearly 5 pm.'

'Then I should get out of bed and start to get ready.'

'Big sister? Are you alright now?'

Marika nodded 'And even if I'm not, I know you and everybody else will be there to help me.'

'Ohh I go get big brother Luca and big, big brother Alex; because I promised them to tell them when you woke up.'

'Alright… and little sister, thank you for being here.'

Little Marika smiled and left the room.

Marika got up from her bed and took a shower and started dress herself, the gown she was wearing was completely green and had two azure dragons on it, just before she wanted to put on her cape veil there was a knock on her door.

'Come in.'

Luca and Alex came in to the room.

"Why do I feel like I'm sending my beautiful sister to her wedding." Luca said.

Marika giggled a little 'Well your sending your big sister to her wedding in some senses.'

Luca gave her a hug. "How are you feeling?"

'Well…I don't really know, I still feel angry and sad at the same time but…'

'I think I just need some time let it all sink in.'

Alex gave her a hug "Sis just so you know, thanks to you we can live our life again and we don't need to keep looking over our shoulders."

"Mom and dad and even your parents would be proud of you."

Marika smiled while a tear ran down her face, Alex smiled and whipped away her tear.

"Since this is normally the job of the parents and they are not here, we will fill in their roll and make you so beautiful that brother in law will be speechless and have to guard you from other men."

Marika started to laugh and hugged both of her brothers.

As she sat down Luca and Alex started on her makeup and hair.

After half an hour they were done and both Alex and Luca attach the cape veil to her dress.

The cape veil was a beautiful Azure transparent color and had a frost lily pattern on it with small moon stone an whit crystals representing snow flacks and the stars in the sky.

Luca and Alex helped her with her jewelry Marika wore the earrings she got from Canus and the bracelet she got from Cinis.

The necklace she was wearing was all new and Marika choked up a bit, It was a pendant with a picture of her parents but also one with her and brothers and uncle and aunt.

She hugged her brother 'Thank you for giving me such a precious gift and for bringing them so they can also be here on this day.'

"Even if we are not in your sight…Remember we are always with you wherever you are."

Marika nodded.

Then there was knock on the door.

"Well it's time to go sister." As Luca was opening the door.

Richard stood in the door opening, he was wearing a Azure colored suit, and had silver colored dragon on it, and his cape had the dragon constellation on it made by moon stones.

Richard walked over to Marika like he was in some sort of trance.

Alex and Luca left the room quietly.

"You look so beautiful that I don't want to show you to anybody."

'Well you look so handsome that I don't want to leave this room and keep you all to myself' Marika giggled.

'But we can't let all our hard work and hardship go to waste, just because of our selfish feelings we have now.'

Richard kissed her, "My wife is right, but after the banquet your all mine."

Marika smiled 'As you wish darling.'

Richard took Marika's hand and led her out of the room.

While they were walking to the ballroom he gave her a quick summary of the people who would be there and that she should be cautious when they offered her a drink.

'Don't worry, I can sniff out any poison, and I have my candy's with me. And I even have something that can reduce the effect of anesthetics.'

'But when it comes to just alcohol I'm even more fine, because I have a very, very high tolerance.'

Richard gave her a kiss and nodded to the guards to open the doors.

As they opened the doors the announcer announced them and Marika eyes light up as she saw the ball room.

It was very big and was decorate with frost lily's and blue roses. The roof of the room was dome shaped and made out of glass and you could see the stars in the night sky.

As they walked in Marika saw from the comer of her eye that some girls were ganging up on little Marika and Marika then threw a knife in the direction of the girls and got stuck in the wall.

Little Marika looked at Marika who was smiling at her.

'Little girl why don't you use my dagger to play with them, since they are begging for you to play with them.'

All the people were silent and Marika then said to Richard 'Parents these days don't even know how to raise children properly.'

As they kept on walking further in side Marika spotted six men who didn't bow like the rest of them and told Richard in a whisper to have them capture and punished in front of everybody.

Richard nodded and signaled to the guard to apprehend them.

As Richard and Marika arrived at their seats Richard pulled her seat and helped Marika to sit down.

The six men were brought in-front of Marika and Richard.

How do you normally deal with the people who have the audacity to not bow to their king?' Marika asked Richard.

"I punish them with whiplashes until I am satisfied."

'While I love to see you do that…you have to keep in mind what that will do to me…' Marika looked lustful to Richard.

"Your right my love, so what do you suggest then?"

'Since we are celebrating our love and engagement…How about we just strip them from their title, ranks, and wealth?'

Richard gave her a kiss "Hmm you're so generous, alright let do that."

Richard looked at the men and "Be grateful to your future queen that you are able to keep you life's."

"Take them away and put them behind bars."

As Richard announced the that the banquet has official started, King Cillus, Cinus and Canus came up to them and congratulated them. After that more nobles came to congratulate them, but Marika wasn't interested in it and was bored out of her mind.

She knew she had to just smile and nod but to her all these nobles were just kissing up to her.

Marika smelled and saw something interesting, Richard noticed Marika perked up.

He looked in the direction she was looking at and saw Ray coming towards them with a female companion.

Ray greeted them "Let me introduce you Julia, she and I planned out the whole plan that took down my father and we…"

Marika walked up to Julia, she then smelled her and had a good look in her eyes. She then walked two rounds around her and casted a spell and pulled out her sword Sodalitas (Friendship).

"What is she doing?" Ray asked Richard.

Richard shrugged his shoulders "I have no clue…All I can tell you is that she is very curious about Julia in a positive way."

"Well… that's good then, because Julia admires Yumaria a lot and want's her approval."

"For what?" Richard asked Ray.

"For our marriage." Ray then said with a slight blush on his face.

"So you finally noticed her feelings for you?"

Ray shook his head "She confessed to me 15 years ago, but I wanted her to enjoy her life first before she would be tied down to a boring life of politics."

"But now Yumaria and I are getting married, Julia wouldn't get bored much when we come to visit you guys."

Ray nodded. "Well Julia is pretty easy going and she doesn't mind my friendship with Yumaria…actually she wants to be friends with her as well."

Ray looked dotingly at Julia.

"Well let's see how she will hold up."

While most nobles got confused by what was going on the moment Marika pulled her sword they all stepped back as far as they could.

Julia also drew her sword Dignatio (Respect).

As Julia and Marika exchanged strikes, both Richard and Ray looked doting on their fiance's.

After 5 minutes Marika claimed the victory and stretched out her hand to Julia.

Julia took it and got up.

'Let's do this again in the future' Marika said to Julia and gave her a hug.

'Hum…That would be nice.' And Julia had a warm smile on her face.

'So you wish for my approval?'

Julia smiled and nodded, she knew dragons have strong senses so she knew Marika had overheard the conversation between Richard and Ray.
