A well taught lesson with a good lecture

Marika and Canus had piled up the body's and Canus casted a spell and the body's started to burn.

They picked up the pups and the corpses and went back to the village were the horses were waiting for them.

Marika didn't talk much on the way to the village.

When they arrived they saw the nobles who had fallowed them, "Your Majesty, Your Highness."

'What are nobles like you doing here?'

"We…we fallowed Your Majesty…"

'When you saw me leave with so many soldiers you thought I was a weak women, didn't you?'

"That…that is true but we…"

'I don't care for what you have to say or even think about me. Now that your here make yourself useful for once in your life and help me with these pups and horses.' Marika sounded cold and agitated.

The man rounded up the horses and took a few bag from the other horses and empty them and put the pups who survived in them.

As all the horses were tied together they started to get ready to leave, while Marika got a message that a few traps had sprung.

Marika asked where and went over to check them, Marika then saw a few wolfs trapped in pit hole and some were caged up.

Marika checked the sturdiness of the cages but could tell they could hold them even if they tried to ram it, it wouldn't budge. Marika send a message to Richard and told him the location of the trapped survivors and send some soldiers with sedatives and retrieve the wolfs.

Marika left the and joined Canus and the nobles.

She mounted her horse, 'Let's go!'

As they were riding back Marika didn't speak a word.

On their way they came across a few soldiers with a caged cart, she dismounted her horse and untied a few horses for the soldiers who were walking next to the cart.

'Here you go guys this will ease the pace for you.'

"Thank you Your Majesty."

Marika then told Canus and the others to head to the castle and she would go to the temple.

'Bring the pups to Liane and Rosalyn.'

"Where are you going?"

'I'm going to give these two a proper burial.'

Canus nodded and left with the nobles, one of them asked "Is she going to be alright?"

"Well would you?, if you saw two innocent babies being killed right in front of your eyes?"

"No…"

"Do you have any children?"

"No I don't..."

"Then you can't even imagine what she is going through, she has 6 adoptive children and as a mother seeing any innocent children even if it's not her own get killed in front of their eyes like that, they will be devastated and feel like they lost their own child."

The noble man looked dejected.

Marika arrived at the temple and was met with the High Priest and Richard.

"Your Majesty Yumaria; we heard what has happened, we will help you to give these souls a proper place to rest."

Marika nodded.

The High Priest then showed her the final resting place for the two little babies. There stood a big three and the flowers were illuminating in the light of the moon. She also saw two Templar carving a stone.

Marika walked up to them 'One is a girl the other is a boy, could you be so kind as to carve a star in one stones and carve the name Selina and a moon in the other with the name Luan?'

"Of course My Queen."

Marika gave them a stone and told them to place it in the gravestones

Marika walked back to Richard and the high priest and resumed their way to a room where two Templar's were waiting for them.

'I know you normally would do this but… but would you please allow me to clean and cleans the bodies?'

The Templar's opened the door for her and said "If you need us, please let us know."

'Thank you.'

Richard fallowed Marika inside and helped her with the process of cleaning and cleansing.

As they were done Richard gave her some cloths so she could dress the babies.

When they were done she handed them over to the Templar's who were waiting for them outside the room.

Richard didn't speak a word to her the whole time because he was afraid she would just break down in to tears if he did. He led her to a room and there they light an incense cone and prayed to the ancestors.

"Dad, mom please take care of these children."

'Luan, Selina I will pray for your health and happiness in your next life.'

When they were done with the prayer's and the incense was burned up, they went to one more room and picked up the flowers they would place at the graves of the babies.

Marika saw frost lily's and blue roses.

They arrived at the grave site of the baby's and placed the flowers on the casket.

The Templar's then put the casket's in the ground and cover them with soil while the high priest gave them their final prayers.

When it was all done Richard planted a blue rose cutting on the grave of Luan and Marika the frost lily cutting on Selina's grave.

As the High Priest and the Templar's were praying Richard handed Marika her violin and told her to play a lullaby.

Marika took a deep breath and started to play, while everybody else were praying.

[Moon Castle]

Canus arrived at the castle with the nobles, Cinis came up to his brother and asked where Marika was.

"Where is Mari?"

"She went to the temple, to give 2 baby's a proper burial."

"What happened out there?"

"Sister snapped, after she saw two baby's getting killed right in front of her eyes."

Genus and Luca also came up and told Canus all the baby's that had arrived had survived and were now being fed and cloth.

"Did you manage to sedate her?"

Canus shook his head "I managed to calm her down without an sedative. But seriously I don't recommend doing that, she almost bit me in half."

"You didn't take your final form?"

"Do you want me dead or something?" He asked his brother.

"I didn't take any form, and just went up to her and be my usual self and told her I had no sedative to sedate her."

"When I told her the numbers of children who got out save and sound she changed back to her 7th stage, and she felt guilty about the two who had died and I told her to give them a proper burial and a name."

"We also found 6 wolf pups, and brought them back, Her Highness Liane and Rosalyn are tasked to take care of them for the time being."

Michael, Leo and Levi saw Canus and came up to him.

"Wow you survived!?"

Leo gave is younger brother a slap on the back of his head. "Don't be so rude, at least he could accomplish what we couldn't."

Canus started to laugh "Don't be so hard on him."

Cinis slapped the back of his brothers head "Don't think so lightly of it… you could have died."

Canus and Levi were both pouting.

Luca heard a whimpering sound and went over to the nobles and checked on the pups.

He saw they weren't hurt anywhere but were shaking out of fear.

"I'm sorry you guys had to go through something like that, but the adult were at fault."

"So please don't become like them in the future." Luca petted the and hug them.

"I'm so sorry that my sister killed your parents, but your parents took the life's of baby's like you and she couldn't stand it. So please don't hold a grudge against her."

The wolf pups nuzzled him to comfort him.

"Now let's go to your new care takers."

Luca started to walk inside the castle. When he arrived at Rosalyn and Liane's room he told them that Marika had temporarily given them the task to take care of the 6 of them.

'We will Your Highness.'

The former Queen of The Sun Kingdom came to the door 'Don't you dare think your sister went overboard today, because she didn't.'

'I did something similar for your sister sake, even though she isn't my child still a mother can't stand it when they see a child get murdered like that.

"I didn't think she went overboard, although I don't have children, I do have a lot of nephews and nieces, and when one of them got attacked and nearly died, I almost reacted the same way as my sister. But she stopped me in time, before I could do anything like what she did today."

Just as Luca was about to leave the pups started to whimper and whine.

Luca patted them "Be good and listen to your care takers, because when my sister gets back I don't know how she will react when she sees you guys. I will let her know you want to see her."

The pups stopped their whimpering and whining.

Luca thanked them again and left the room.

Luca arrived back at his room where Alex, Ivy and Rex were waiting for him.

"Did she arrived back at the castle?" Alex asked his brother.

Luca shook his head "It seems she is at the temple to bury the two little ones who got killed."

"But she also saved 6 wolf pups."

"Well I think aunt Marika did that because she knows those 6 pups are innocent and baby's them self's."

Suddenly there was knock on the door and Luca stood up to open it.

He saw his sister was in a complete messy state and Richard took her inside the room.

He set her down on the couch.

Richard pulled Luca aside, "It seems you can talk to her but she won't talk back much, and don't even think about asking her a thing about today."

"Don't worry we won't, but how was she during the funeral?"

"Quiet, she didn't shed a single tear and that's what worries me the most."

"Well consider what she had witnessed and how she went on a rampage…emotionally she is a complete mess."

"Do you think having dinner with the soldiers tomorrow is going to be a problem? She did promise them."

"I don't see a reason why she can't go, as long as they don't bring up today's event it should be fine."

"Do you think it would also be good for her to go to The Forest of Eternal Night the day after that?"

"Well I don't recommend it, let's see how she will hold up with Caelum and Solis."

"Alright…" Richard looked at Marika "I leave her with you guys for a few hours and I'll inform the soldiers about the dinner party."

Luca nodded "How are you holding up?"

"Honestly I don't even know how to deal with this…"

"I just want to pack up and leave with her where there is nobody around us and it's just the two of us."

Marika then stood up and pulled Ivy and Rex with her

"Marika!?"

'Come with me.'

Alex, Richard and Luca looked very surprised by her action.

Marika arrived at the room were Rosalyn, Liane and their mother we staying.

Marika knocked on the door 'Rosalyn it me.'

Rosalyn opened the door and Marika got a hug attack from Rosalyn and Liane.

'You look messy.'

'Well that's because I made a mess.'

'Can we come inside, I want to see how the pups are doing.'

'Are you sure?' Liane asked her.

Marika nodded 'As I told Canus, they should not suffer from the actions of the adults.'

Rosalyn let them in but left the door on a crack just in case.

Rex saw them and instantly start to hug and cuddle them.

"Aunt Marika they're so cute and fluffy…can I keep one?"

Richard and the others had arrived and saw what happened.

'Well…you know that I think every animal and creature should be in their respective habitat.'

Rex started to look dejected by her answer.

'But…I don't see a problem with you raising one or two.'

Rex put down the pup and hugged his aunt.

"Thank you Marika, and I will make sure they can stand on their own feet when they are all grown up.

Marika patted Rex head and had a smile on her face.

'Ivy, what about you?'

Ivy was holding on pup 'Why not let me and Rex raise all 6 of them? They have been in the night world for generation now…wont they suffer in The World of Light?'

'If we can manage the next few generation to get accustomed to light again then over the course of a few decades they could go back to where they originally came from.'

Marika let go of Rex and walked over to Ivy 'Let's do that then, but how are you going to do that?'

'Well the light in the human world isn't that strong and since they are so young they can adapt, but we need to breed them with wolfs from The World of Light, after every generation they will eventually be able to stand the intensity there.'

Marika patted Ivy's head 'That's a great idea, let's do that.'

Five pups where hurdling around Marika and started to whine.

Marika crouched down and picked them up. 'You guys are not to blame, nor will I resent you for what the adults have done. I'm really sorry that I killed your parents and made you orphans, I never intended to do that in the first place.'

'I wanted to capture the pack and transport you to human world…but when I saw them killing defenseless baby's I just snapped and was enraged.'

'I'm sorry… I'm sorry…I'm so sorry.' *hic*

'Could you guys please forgive me?'

The pups in Marika's arm started to nuzzle her and licked away her tears.

Rex and Ivy walked up to her "I'm sure they will." And they gave her a hug.

The pup in Ivy's arms jumped on top of Marika's head and started to howl.

'So you want to be the leader? You are years away from beating me in that regard.' Marika giggled.

The pup started to bark

'Ohh is that so? Well let me tell you, I am the Alpha of The Dire Wolf Clan so come back and challenge me again when your grown up and strong little Levis.'

Levis barked at her again.

All the pups got excited.

Marika put them down on the ground again and together with everybody in the room they started to play with pups.

Marika noticed one was walking to the door and Marika smiled.

'Why don't you guys come in and join the fun.'

After the play session Levis sat down in front of Marika, showing of his position. Marika giggle and petted him, 'You really want to be the leader and Alpha don't you.'

'Lady Rory what do you thing? You think he has the potential?'

'He has potential for many great thing, but he need's someone who can teach him what it means to be a leader.'

"Then how about this, Lady Rory can stay at the main house and help teach him." Alex suggested.

'That's a great idea!'

'But won't I be imposing…'

'Mom you're not imposing…His Highness Alex suggested it himself.'

'Mom you need a break yourself… Liane, Leo, Levi and I can manage the clan while you take a well-deserved break.'

'Didn't I tell you when I gave you the medicine to cure you completely… to mark that day as being freed from the curse your husband put on us. You are free to go and do what you want.

'We are all grown up and adults now, your raised your children right and they are already walking steady on their own paths. It's now time for you, to spend your free time on you and nobody else…well with the minor exception of Levis.

'Alright…I'll accept the invitation.'

'Let's think of some names for the rest of them.'

They quickly came up with names for the pups, Dux, Shanna, Zen

Richard then asked Marika while he was holding a male and female pup "Can we name these two after the two babies who had passed away? So that the two of them will be remembered and be the legacy for the future?"

Luca looked at his sister and saw she had a loving smile on her face while she looked at the two of them.

'Hmm, that would be nice.'

Marika then sat down next to Richard and leaned her head against his shoulder.

'Luan, Selina may grow strong and bright.'

Marika then asked Richard "That thing you taught me to do to William, will that also work on those wolfs?'

"Well the only way to find out, is to just try it out." Richard gave her a kiss on the head.

Marika stood up and picked up Levis and ran out of the room.

"Where is she going now?" Luca asked.

'It seems the trapped wolfs are here.' Rosalyn answered him.

"How can you be so certain?"

'Well, why else would she pick up Levis and ran out of the room? She is going to teach him what it means to be a leader.'

All the pups fallowed after Marika and the rest also stood up to fallow the pups.

"Well they certainly know who is the boss around here" Richard chuckled.

'That only shows you how strong she is and how cable of a leader.'

"Thank you Rosalyn…I wished that more people had that same thought like you have."

'Want me to come over whenever they are difficult? I think Julia and little Marika would also like to tear those kind of man apart.' And she slapped Richard playfully on his shoulder.

Richard started to laugh 'You and Yumaria really share some similarities.'

Marika arrived outside and saw the soldiers coming up to her.

The pups were all sitting next to her.

The soldiers saw Marika standing outside and when they we're at her they bowed.

"My Queen we have arrived with the wolfs who were trapped in the abandoned village."

Marika looked at the wolfs who were sedated.

'Could you bring them to the indoor training ground?'

The soldiers bowed to Marika and went on their way.

'Now listen here, you're coming with me and I'll teach you your first lesson in how to be dominate.'

'But if they won't submit, I will tie them up until they do.'

Richard then asked "You're not killing them?"

'No…If I'm not mistaken these wolfs should be adolescent wolfs so there is some hope for them.'

Marika called for spike 'Spike can you show Richard the average size of an adult wolf of The Light World.'

Spike changed his size and saw the difference "So they will grow a little more than what they are now."

Marika nodded 'Well it's not much only 5 more centimeters, and at the den there where were only 12 fully grown adults, the rest of them were adolescent wolfs.'

'Now I have to go now because the sedative is going to wear off in roughly 15 minutes.'

Marika ran to the indoor training grounds and the pups fallowed her again.

On her way she saw Canus and pulled him by the arm with her.

"Hey Mari!?"

'Come with me, I need someone to guard these little ones while they get there first lesson.'

"Alright sis."

When they arrived at the indoor training grounds she saw the soldiers moving the wolfs in to the training area.

Marika told the pups to stay where they were and not to move. She then casted a spell around them that would protect them from what she was going to do.

Once she was done Canus asked her "Why do you need me for if you cast a spell around them."

'It's only a protective spell against energy pressure, they still could get harmed physically.'

"What are you planning to do?"

'Me? Noting much just make those wolfs over there submit to me.'

Marika heard the little once starting to growl and started to giggle. 'Don't they sound cute like that.'

Canus looked at them "Not only that, they also look cute."

'If any of them come close to you just knock them out.'

"Alright Mari."

The wolfs started to wake up and Marika was mentally preparing for what she was about to do.

When the wolf were fully awake they started to snarl and growl at Marika.

Marika focused on them and started to release a pressure and walked up to them.

The wolfs didn't seem to budge so she increased the pressure even more.

When she was only 2 meters away from them the intensity of the pressure was so big that everybody got affected by it and but Richard and Canus were still standing but were also beginning to get affected by it.

Now that Marika was only one meter away and slightly increased it again and the wolfs finally started to back down a little.

Canus looked up to Richard "Hey Richard can't you stop her?"

"I can, but I won't."

"Why?"

"Because if we do that all her efforts will be for nothing."

"But look at everybody…"

"Well they just have to bear with it."

"Are you nut! The majority isn't used to this…"

Rex somehow got used to the pressure and came up to Canus "Well how else do you want her to make them submit to her? She needs to learn to controlling her powers, if she can't, how is she supposed to do it in the future if she needs to use them as The Guardian of the 3 Worlds."

"Why is that your fine, and can walk around?"

"How the hell should I know? All I know is that I have the crazy ability to adapted to my situation much quicker than anybody else."

"Dante told me that during my sparring match with Marika he noticed I was adapting my strength to my opponent and because of that I was able to stand against her for an hour at my first sparring and assessment match."

William also had come to see what was happening because he felt a familiar pressure.

When he walked up to Richard, he asked what was going one.

"Look Canus here is another one who is just fine under this pressure."

"What!!"

"What do you mean Your Majesty."

"Well my sweet wife is trying to get those wolf to submit, but the majority is having a hard time, you and Rex seem to be fine, and me and Canus are getting affected by it a little."

William looked at Marika, "My Queen, can you increase it one notch? I think they should give up and submit if you do!"

"William you bastard!" Canus yelled him.

Rex started to laugh

Marika heard it but she knew William was joking.

She was now standing in front of the 4 adolescent wolfs.

'I give you two choices one is to submit here and now, or get chained up and have your freedom being taken away from you for the rest of your life's.'

The wolfs started to back off and laid down.

Marika slowly started to lower the pressure and one of them started to growl

Marika wasn't having it and grabbed him by the neck and put some pressure on him

'You dare to rebuke me?'

The wolf started to whimper.

'That's better…now that your all nice and quiet you better listen to me. I'm already a leader of an pack of wolfs, the last two wolfs who tried to challenge me, were forced to stay with me, and if they didn't listen there would be an harsh punishment.'

Marika now had completely released the pressure.

Levis left the barrier and ran up to Marika.

"Hey! Where are you going!"

Marika saw Levis running up to her and another adolescent wolf saw a chance to get up and wanted to attack Levis.

Rex rushed over to Levis and used his scepter to knock out the wolf.

"Levis!"

The pup flinched and started to whimper.

"Do you have any idea how dangerous that was."

'Rex…yelling isn't going to help.'

Marika took Levis from Rex and put him on the ground. 'Levis listen to me, what you did just now was very dangerous and you could have died if Rex didn't react so fast.'

'Always be warry of those who have a hard time submitting to you.'

'Now Levis take this as a lesson and never let your guard down when it comes to wolfs like them.'

'Guards!'

A few soldiers came in to the training room with chains and a muzzle.

'Chain this on up somewhere.'

Marika looked at the other three wolfs 'Like I said before if you don't submit I will chain you up and take your freedom.

The other wolfs didn't dare to move.

Marika then sat down in front of the three wolfs

'Now what should I do with you guys…'

'Well I can't send you to the human world….'

'Hey Canus, does Ignis have any wolf clans?'

"Yes we have two of them, but if we let those four in to our country I fear the would get killed."

Marika finally thought of something and called Ray Caedis.

'Yumaria? Why are you calling?'

'Hey Julia! Where is Ray?'

'Well…He is in a meeting…but…'

'That's fine, then I'll just discuss it with you.'

'Well…that is…'

Marika noticed the hesitation in Julia and asked 'Who else is with you?'

'Clause is.'

'Humm… cover your ears Julia, everybody cover your ears.'

Everybody did and Marika took a deep breath.

'CLAUSE! YOU PIECE OF SH*T GET YOUR ASS IN FRONT OF ME RIGHT NOW! BEFORE I COME OVER AND KILL YOU!'

Clause came over "Well if it isn't the rude woman, what do you want?"

'Shut that trap of yours right this instant.'

Marika was showing her 7th stage to him.

'Dare to open that insolent mouth of yours again to me and your dead, your speaking to The Queen of Virtus et Caeruleus Viridi do you understand? Or has that incompetent brain of yours still not realized your talking to a Queen?'

Clause started to get nervous, if this was reported to Ray his head would fly off.

"My…my apologies Your Majesty."

'Now tell me what's the deal with you not letting Julia handle country affairs with me?'

"With all due respect Your Majesty she is not cable of that."

'And who is the judge about that?'

"I am Your Majesty"

'Clause???'

"Yes Your Majesty."

'Get the hell out of the castle…Your unfit to teach her anything.'

'From what I had seen on my engagement banquet she is more than cable…and it was her and Ray who planned out everything to take down the former king.'

'So do tell me how she is not cable? She spend 15 years outside in the world, she can comprehend better than you how the people are doing and feeling and what problems are outside of the castle.'

'If anything it should be the other way around, she should be your teacher and you her student.'

Suddenly Marika heard a laugh at the other end of the call. "Well-spoken Queen Yumaria."

"Your Majesty!"

'Hi Ray! I thought you were in a meeting.'

"Well I heard you shout so I thought you were in my castle and I came to see what was going on."

'Well…that's because Clause is being a stuck up, incompetent and controlling.'

'The reason I called was that I have 4 wolfs here and they need a new home, and since you were in a meeting I thought I could just discuss it with Julia since she is going to be a Queen herself.'

"Well we don't have any wolfs here so…"

"Julia you handle this matter with Queen Yumaria."

Ray gave her a kiss on the head.

"And Clause I want you in my office after the meeting."

"Yes Your Majesty."

While Marika was discussing everything with Julia; Richard looked dotingly at her.

William then asked Richard "Are you letting her go over there?"

"Well even if I don't want her to go, I can't do anything about it. She can't avoid it for the sake of her kingdom."

"But knowing her she will bring a few people with her that are capable to protect her when needed."

"I have to admit what she did in at The Sun Kingdom…while she hate's politics she is very good in playing their game. I only hope she won't kill to many people while she is there."

"Well…I'm more worried when she meets the Sanguis over there, they are difficult to deal with."

Richard smiled "Well we just have to wait and see how she is going to handle them."

When Marika was done discussing with Julia she ended the call.

As she looked at the 3 wolfs 'Seems I have found you a new home.'

The 3 wolf all came up to Marika and laid down their heads on her lap and whimpers lightly.

'As long as you behave there's nothing bad going to happen to you.'

'Now let's go to your brother who is chained up and you are going to talk some sense in to him, of course you guys won't be chained up. But don't let me hear you attacked somebody.'

Marika stood up and walked out of the training area together with the pup's and the adolescent wolfs.

[Next day]

Marika bid her goodbyes to everybody.

The pup's where whimpering and whining a little.

'Levis, Dux, Zen, Shanna, Luan, Selina, be good and listen well and above all else become strong and healthy. I will come and visit you guys and see how you're doing.'

Marika then picked up Levis 'Remember I am an alpha of a pack, if you want to become the leader of this pack you better train hard and earn the title.'

Levis nuzzled and licked Marika's face. 'Rex, Ivy until they are adolescent they can stay at the main house, when you think they can be on their own, bring them to my cave up in the mountain behind the main house.'

'And you six better not make a mess of my cave.'

Everybody left through the portal and Marika sighed a little.

Richard walked up to her and hugged her. "Let visit them soon."

Marika nodded.

'Now that that is done and over with…'

Marika looked at the sky and saw Solis and Caelum approaching them.

'I am really scared for what's to come next.'

"I will be with you when you fall asleep, and I'll be the first one you'll see when you wake up."

Solis and Caelum landed and gave her a hug

"Mom! Are you alright?"

'I would lie if I said I was, but having you here set my mind more at ease.'

"Mom…I modified the seal, but you will feel sight pain when I put it on you and remove it."

Marika smiled at Solis 'Well no pain, no gain.'

Caelum then checked Marika's innate magic "Mom?? What did you do?"

'I murdered almost a whole pack of wolfs yesterday. And I unleashed a pressure to make them submit, but I did that by increasing it little by little.'

'What did I damage my innate Magic?'

Caelum shook his head "No actually your battle magic underwent a change."

"What kind of a change?"

"It grew…as in it is starting to grow back to a full circle again."

'That is going to be problematic when I get my magic back isn't it.'

"Not necessarily mom, but you just need to either speed up your plan on recovering your magic or you need to keep yourself in check."

'Then let's go for the first option.'

Marika, and the others went to Genus.

'White coat!'

Genus came up to her and saw she was very anxious.

"Hey little girl, are you nervous or something?"

'Yes, isn't it a natural thing?'

"Well I thought consider that loud and aggressive nature of yours, I thought you would redder be more fearful."

…

Marika slapped Genus on the shoulder 'I'm more worried about the anesthetic you made for me, I wouldn't like to wake up during the operation.'

"Well I made one that should keep you out for 3 hours, but consider you resistance, it will probably keep you down and out for half of that time."
