Maximus

The stable man brought out Dominic's favorite horse and made it stand in front of them.

Ava looked at the horse and then at the man who stood there smiling at her. She knitted here brows thinking about him using a horse," Do they even need them?" she thought and turn to look at the white horse.

"Wife this is Maximus..." he went ahead and brushed his fingers on it's hair making the horse tap his feet.

As if he recognized his master, the horse moved his head accepting his care.

"Maximus this is my wife...Ava" he smiled talking to him and gave a meaningful look at her.

Ava was still trying to accept the fact that now, she was married to him and she was no longer a normal girl but the queen of his kingdom..

"Wife come here" he stretched his hand asking her to come and meet his favorite pet.

Taking his hand she walked and stood next to him. Ava was feeling a little scare watching the horse nodding his head. Dominic felt her hold on his palm tighten, he could guess that she was getting scare of him.

"Maximus you're scaring my wife" his stern voice made the horse reduce his excitement.

Following his masters words, Maximus stop tapping his feet and stood still. Ava was amazed how the horse easily understood his words and followed his master command.

"See.. you don't have to be scared.. he is just happy to see me after long time" he again brushed his hair lovingly when he followed his order.

"Do you want to ride?" he asked and turn to look at her.

"Didn't she already said she doesn't know how to ride a horse" she didn't voice her thought and only raised her brows making him chuckle on her.

"I know you don't know, but as I said earlier we will ride it together" he leaned and whispered in her ears.

Her husband was a shameless man, he didn't leave a chance to get close to her.

"You can go" he ordered the stableman to leave them alone.

Getting up on the horse, he forwarded his hand for her to climb. Ava had seen him climb so following his steps, she held his hand and hopped on Maximus.

Adjusting herself in front of him, Ava looked at the horse. Her hand went to brush his hair lightly just like the way Dominic did , as if liking her touch the horse again started to tap his feet.

"I think he likes you" Dominic whispered behind her.

For a moment she forgot that Dominic was with her, Halting her hands on him she turn to look back and found herself close to his chest. She look so small in front of his large frame.

Dominic looked down and her eyes stuck on his chest. His lips curved looking his little kitten innocently looking at it.

"If you want you can touch them" his chuckle made his chest moved up and down breaking her focus. Her cheeks turn red and she turn to look at front without answering him.

"Stupid Ava what's wrong with you" she closed her eyes cursing herself to loose her focus.

She was slowly losing her mind in his presence. At first she thought she would try to avoid him, but it was not helping her. The more he came close to her the more she was drawn to him.

Taping his foot on the horse, he made him walk. Dominic wanted to spend his time with her and he could feel she would not like if he rode the horse with speed. So he let them strode slowly.

They kept walking without speaking to each other.

Earlier she heard from Agatha about Dominic which made her curious to know about him. She only knew that he was a wolf, but she didn't knew how did they still exist and that too without humans knowing them.

"Why would you need a horse, when you are more faster than him" she asked out of curiosity to break the silence.

Dominic chucked at her innocent question. All this while after the silence, she opened her mouth to ask this. He couldn't help but think what was his wife further going to inquire more. He knew she must be eager to know about him and even he wanted to tell her but he feared what if she leave him after knowing exactly who he was...

"Why? don't you know all king ride on a horse" he leaned his face and answered in her ears sending chills over her body.

Even if she didn't turn to see him, she could feel him smiling at her. She knew he would again take her words lightly and brush her questions but she was adamant to know about him. She wanted to know what made her father agree to his words..

"I just thought maybe you can have a look around with the speed you have rather than putting your heavy weight on this poor soul" her answer again made him chuckle.

"So you think I'm heavy weight?" he asked which made her turn to look at him.

He had this light smile on his face that reached his eyes. She could see he was enjoying teasing her. Her face turn gloomy when she saw him smile at her.

"Yes you are.. and you should not tired him by riding on him"

"Okay as you say, but I will tired him whenever we together will ride on him" he said and pull the reins making Maximus stop.

Ava frowned when he stop the ride and turn to look in front of her. She gasp in surprise and covered her mouth watching the beautiful star in the sky. They were shining like diamond making the sky look more attractive at night.

"Do you like my surprise?" he asked and climb off Maximus.

Carrying her he made her come down. He could see the shine in her blues eyes when she looked up in the sky.

"I didn't knew sky would look so beautiful from the here" she walked ahead to have a clear view.

Dominic had rode her to their palace lawn and stopped his ride where he could show her the sky. Whenever he came to this place he felt calm and now he wanted to come to this place along with his wife.

He wanted her to give this marriage a try rather than always bringing up the deal. He knew it would take time and he was ready to wait but he didn't knew how much he had to wait for her to accept him.

From the time he got to know she was his mate, he didn't waste time to keep her close to him. And now she had to accept him even if she didn't believe in this marriage. He was not going to back down unless he made her accept him.

"Not as beautiful as you" he walked to her and stood next to her watching her look at the sky like a kid.

Ava body stiffen when he snaked his arm around her waist pulling her attention towards him. The warm of his hand engulf her heart too, she didn't flinch with his sudden touch as she herself was starting to like him close to her.

She turn her head and saw him staring her back. His smile was so captivating that it fluttered her heart. She couldn't explain how it responded to his every action.

"You are more beautiful than anything in this world" his words were genuine, he was saying the truth.

He had been sleeping with many girls but he could feel the happiness he craved for unless she walked in. His heart yearn for her attention ,even if it was an argument he still felt happy inside. He himself was seeing the change in him around her, she had him in her palms. Her every action had a reaction on him.

Ava heart skip a beat when this words left his mouth. She could tell he was not teasing her. His words were true and she could feel it, making her heart overwhelmed with emotion.

"I know I've force you to marry me but.. can you consider it for once without bringing the past" his prideful eyes showed emotion in them.

He was asking her permission to accept him and give this marriage a try. She knew she had to be with him until she find out about the reason her father had. But was she ready to leave him after knowing the truth?

Even if she said, she would not allow him to touch her but the way she felt with him was not describable. She would feel the pull towards him and her heart would always waver with emotion which she was not aware off.

"I know it's not easy to accept me but please don't push me" his eyes begged her as if he was scared to loose her.

"Will you do that?"
