Something unusual

Vincent round his palm into a tight fist and pulled his eyes away from Katy. He wasn't able to absorb her words, so he chose to ignore her.

Richard bobbed his head with a smile that irked Vincent even more. How badly he wanted to erase that mocking smile from his face but stopped himself from doing so because he didn't want to push Katy even  farther away.

Katy on the other hand noticed the playfulness in his smile and arched her brows in annoyance and asked," What! You don't believe me" she could tell by the looks on his face that her words didn't seem to convince him.

"I wasn't expecting you to lie straight on my face, princess Katy. Who doesn't know that he is you man" Richard's words took Katy by surprise but she didn't show it on her face and maintained her blank look.

"Then why did you ask if you were aware of the man next to me," she asked with a tinge of annoyance in her voice.

"Curiosity," he said with a smile.
