Death God's Angels

The Cult of Death. As they call themselves, Death God's Angels. They are the followers of the Agham's previous cruel dictator, Lord Makali. An Emperor who killed hundred millions of people in his one year reign before his sudden disappearance. He was assumed to be dead and rumored to be killed by his own knight but there were no trace of his corpse nor his killer. Which is why some believes he is alive along with the rumors that he is actually a god because of his capabilities to kill anyone whenever and wherever at will, therefore people assumed he is an immortal being.

The Sacrifices, they are the leaders of the cult. Currently there are only five Sacrifices, but the following story will not take place on the current day but in the past month.

The four Sacrifices:

Saul: 15 years old. Male. Warrior (Rogue). Founder of the organization. The Same guy who climbed the wall in Chapter 5 like a madlad.

Delilah: 20 years old. Female. Warrior. A woman who lost her parents at a young age and lived as a criminal until her life was sustained by working with the cult.

Jude: 22 years old. Male. Arch Mage. A trusted friend of Saul and also the second member of the cult. He was his senior back in school.

Eba: 19 Years old. Female. Defender. A brutal sadist from a noble family.

A night at a dark tomb, few kilometers outside the city. The four of them standing side by side in front of a quiet crowd. They waited a few minutes before they turned around, facing an unknown figure sitting on a throne that is hidden in the shadows where the light of the only few candles cannot reach. The four of them kneeled.

Saul: "Our Lord Makali. Here are another crowd of people who will be joining our cult. All of this glory and more to come is for you, Our Lord."

Among the bunch of people, there was a 16 years old girl wearing a mask with a terrifying smiley face that said: "So that's the Lord Makali? He is skinnier than I expected."

The four sacrifices stood up and turned around to the crowd.

Saul: "All of you will be accepted as a member of this cult. But in order to determine your position, we will conduct a small test. All of you will be participating in a fight until death. Those who died will be saved by the Lord, while the last person to live will have a chance to serve the Lord as a Sacrifice."

The silent crowd suddenly panicked as they heard it. Most of the people tried to leave the place but as soon as they took a step back, a small knife of Saul were sent flying exactly to their head, killing them on the spot. The panic intensified as they tried to run away. When one person reached for the door, a wall of bricks from the floor and ceiling formed by Jude covered the massive door and clamping that person's hand at the same time.

Jude: "Nice. Perfect timing right there."

His hands was completely crushed but it is still not torn off and was stuck in the wall so he cried in a horrible pain. His suffering was put to an end when a knife pierced his skull.

Jude: "C'mon! You could have atleast making him suffer longer!"

Eba: "I agree."

Saul: "You two sadists and your fetishes..."

In just a few seconds, the panicking group of about 26 people were all killed.

Saul: "As I said, you will all be a member of this Death Cult. So lets congratulate the new members who are finally saved by the Lord. Then lets proceed to the test."

There were only 1/3 of the amount of the crowd left.

Saul: "Please form a circle while facing each other and stand as far as possible to one another."

The group of people left were mostly terrified or already gave up on life. You might ask what kind of stupid person would join a cult with the word "death" on its name. The reason for this is because a lot of these people are discriminated by the heirarchal system of the Majarlica City. Therefore business like Shadow Mercenaries and cult like these are thriving more than they should be, since desperate people looking for a place in the society are making it alive though you cant really blame all of it to them.

Few moments later. After a totally one-sided battle between the participants, of course the masked woman is the last one to survive.

Jude: "This one is interesting."

Eba: "I like her. She doesnt hesitate."

Saul: "From now on you are a part of our cult, The Death God's Angels, and you will be one of the Sacrifices.

Jude: "As a Sacrifice, we refrain our desire to suicide and commit ourselves to killing more people in order for the Death God to save them."

Saul: "Lady, tell us your name."

Masked Woman: "Massa. I came here to kill my sister and my father."

Saul: "We will make sure your wish will happen, as long as you will follow our Lord's wish."
