Horrors of Death

They spent twenty minutes waiting for Cali and Biel to come back until someone finally came. Saul sensed him coming from fifty meters away. He is running towards them in a quick speed.

Saul: "Someone is approaching and it seems they know already know what is happening. Everyone get ready."

As he arrived, a gust with the dust of dirt covered their vision. A gust of dust made through dragging a heavy sword before swinging it like a fan. It was Biel.

Jude quickly blew the dust but Biel already freed the hostages.

Saul: "Be careful. He's not someone to be underestimated."

Biel: "What do you want?"

Saul: "We are here to silence you people. It looks like you're most likely to be telling the truth from his reaction, Jude."

Jude: "Cant you just trust me a little?!"

Biel: "A fight is inevitable then."

Both sides prepared their form and position for a brawl.

Zen created a small fissure on Saul's position to limit his movement.

Saul quickly jumped to a tree branch before it completely swallow him.

As he was in mid air, Biel jumped and tried to attack him but he was blocked by Eba and completely stopped his sword from any force. It was stucked in place.

Biel let go of the sword.

Delilah tried to attack him just before he touches the ground but was blocked by an earth wall from Zen.

Delilah retreats.

Jude fires a barrage of rocks to the sky to rain down to them.

Saul held on a branch and hides in the leaves.

Massa was imbuing an arrow with condensed mana.

Mica creates a barrier roof to block the rocks.

Biel gathered the rocks.

Zen pushed the wall towards the enemy.

The sacrifices dodged.

Quickly after that Biel threw four rocks to each of them.

Eba stopped all of it.

Zen fired a rain barrage of rocks to them similar to Jude's.

Biel strengthened his arm with mana and threw all of the rocks in an even faster speed to them at the same time the barrage was about to fall.

Jude turned the ground Biel was standing on into mud at the same time.

Having only limited area to create a barrier, Eba stopped the rocks that Biel threw but not the barrage.

They were all got injured but Jude passed out when his head got hit.

Massa fired the concentrated arrow at Zen.

Mica tried to stop it but its too powerful.

Even with movement restraints, Biel managed to run through the mud and catch the arrow. His arm that he used to grab the arrow broke as he catches it.

Saul suddenly appeared behind them and hit Zen and Mica's directly to the head. Mica managed to reduce the force of it but they still passed out.

Having broken arm, alone, and being targeted most of the time by the enemy, Biel was in a tough situation.

But because the enemy's focus is at Biel, they made a deadly mistake of assuming he is the only threat.

Saul realized this when he saw a shadow figure behind them, standing menacingly. Saul panics and warns them.

Saul: "Look out!"

It was already too late.

The shadow figure who appears to be Ceed, striked Massa, Delilah, and Eba. All in a quick succession as if he was just dancing.

The three of them passed out.

That leaves Saul, Biel, and Ceed in the battlefield.

Saul diverted his focus to Ceed and they rushed towards each other.

Their attack was so fast it was barely visible.

They both retreated.

Ceed got stabbed in his right arm while Saul got various cuts on his hands. Both of them can barely hold on to their daggers.

Unfortunately the other four Sacrifices woke up. Although with injuries, it seems they are still more capable than Biel and Ceed.

Jude: "Damn, my head hurts."

Delilah: "Arent you ashamed you fainted just from a small rock?"

Eba: "I wont forget this humility! You brat, what is your name?!"

Saul: "I admit that you people are admirable in fighting, but this is where it ends."

???: "You're right, this is where it ends."

Saul: "Who is that?!"

Cali: "You fucking assholes. You finally had me furious."

Massa: "Cali?"

Cali: "Once you make an enemy out of someone, you should be prepared to die yourself. So I will show you just what horrors lies in dying."

Cali raised his hand towards them.

All of them suddenly saw imageries in their minds. Various imageries of death from thousands of people and they felt all of it. Their body spazzes in immense pain and immediately passed out.

Biel: "Did you kill them?"

Cali: "No but I erased all of their memories of this day. If they try to remember it, they will only see the horrors I showed them."

Biel: "Brutal punishment for brutish people. I hope they learn their lessons."

Cali: "They should, because Im going to kill them next time."

Ceed: "Thank you, Cali. We would be dead if not for you. But can I ask what kind of magic you possess?"

Cali: "I dont know what to call this myself but, I guess we'll just go with the Sage class. Im a Sage class magician."

Ceed: "I haven't heard that before."

Cali: "Thats because Im the first one to give this class a name."

"Living my life, everything wants me dead. So if there is something that keeps me alive, I will hold on to it even if it means ceasing another's life. Be it an object or ideology, As long as owe my life to it." -Saul Uttan
