Agham Versus The World

In the gardens of the castle. The same day Kali got injured.

Sinta's undergoing a combat training using daggers with her personal butler.

Sinta's Butler: "You're improving at a pretty decent rate, Princess. Although to be frank, I expected you could do better."

Sinta: "I am not really used to or comfortable with using a blade, Amel."

Butler Amelvi: "There will be times your pacifist approach will be of hindrance to you, Princess. You must learn how to fight back for your own safety." He said with a concerned look.

Sinta: "I understand, but I will never let it reach to that point. So about my arm guard..?"

Amel: "They have already finished making it while we were traveling to Capitolio, but it is still on it's way to being transported here. It should make it here in about two days."

Sinta: "That's good to hear."

Amel: "Though I must say, not only do you excel at any field tasked to you, but you are also quite skillful in combat on your own fighting style."

Sinta: "Thank you, but you don't have to speak highly of me."

Amel: "It is just the truth, Princess."

Gale came running towards them.

Gale: "Mr. Amelvi, have you seen Kali?!"

Amel: "I did not."

Sinta: "What's the matter?"

Gale: "Prince Makali ran away somewhere. He still haven't recovered from his injury."

Sinta: "Injury?"

Gale: "He accidentally ripped his finger off."

Sinta said as she was in shock: "I'll help in finding him."

In one of the less visited parts of the castle, Kali was running through the halls holding a torn sack on his right shoulder and pieces of pork floating and bobbing behind him. Mimicking his leaps as he stride.

He suddenly came across and accidentally bumped on one of the royal knights.

The pork pieces fell on the tiled floor just before the knight saw it floating.

Once he saw the sack Kali is holding, he assumed the situation as nothing much suspicious except for one detail.

The knight glared at him, asking: "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

It's odd to see a child running in a secluded halls while carrying a sack of pork on his back. The most notable detail the knight found is why is the child in a secluded part of the castle.

Though Kali too had his own suspicions. He is aware that a knight doesn't normally come by here. And although commoners aren't aware of the Prince's identity, the Royal Knights are supposed to be aware of the royalty's identity.

Kali: "Forgive my carelessness, sir. I'm Prince Makali Albedo. I was just exploring the castle for I have nothing better to do." He said casually and naturally. The boy's acting skill is flawless. He plays a character by trying to understand what a person he is portraying would think of if he's in their shoe. Accompanied by the understanding of a his natural emotion as a normal human and his constant wariness of other people's opinion. He was able to act as a completely different person even if the virtue where this character may be based of is against his own virtue. A skill that an open-minded person could effortlessly master.

The Knight: "I see. Hopefully you won't trip while you're running, young master."

Both of them are suspicious, but they mostly spoke defensively instead of further questioning one another. The knight tried to end the conversation as soon as he realize who he is and went away.

Kali is an open-minded child and he has no pride. He is humbled by his stressful experiences as a child from all the pressures of his responsibilities. His pride is crushed and his standards are raised. All that is left is a flexible, observant, and calculating mind. A catalyst for a mind with perfect wisdom. From the very moment he had turned into such person five years ago, he attracted the gaze of the ascended being walking amongst the mortal realm. The being has ventured her way towards Kali from the other side of the world and is still on her way up to this day.

Otherworldly Woman: "One hundred and seventy kilometers left. About a year from now, I'll be there, Makali."

The world is being led by never ending wars, and nations has learned to adapt to it. As of now, the biggest leaders of the world from the neighboring kingdoms are their army generals. This is because every kingdom's biggest problem is war, and a leader that can fortify a country to withstand it's powerful blows are appointed.

In the Nisshoku Empire, north east of Agham Empire.

Nisshoku Shogun: "Times are always changing, and the strongest will eventually grow old and weak. Agham Empire's luxury and comfort will be their downfall!"

Elite Female Soldier: "Are you sure you want to take on a war against Agham early on, Akatsuki Shogun?"

Akatsuki: "Hundreds of years after the death of their Princess Kata, the most powerful magician in history, obviously Agham is no longer as formidable as they once were."

"And with all the forces setting their eyes and pointing their blades to them, the only future that awaits Agham is annihilation."

In an archipelago pirate nation named Tundrant across the ocean northwest of the continents of Mahika (Mahika is a supercontinent with the biggest land mass in the world of Gaia. It's where most nations are located including Nisshoku and Agham. It is divided into multiple continents. Two of those continents are: West Mahika, where the nations of Ogonled, Victland, and Agham is. East Mahika, where the nations of Nisshoku, Huanghun, and Insatara is found).

Tundrant is one of the few kingdoms that are not part of Mahika.

Tundrant General: "Men, we will be part of the biggest historical event in the world. The peak of war to judge who will be the next most powerful ruler. We will show the world how powerful the savages of the seas!"

The army shouted: "Glory to the name of the Titans!"

One of the three commanders said: "There he goes again, getting all excited over the war. I pity those who will face him in battle."

Female commander: "No wonder he became a human titan with that insane bloodlust of his."

A teenage boy commander: "Titan Zevar. One of the strongest human titans in history capable of taking down twenty thousand warriors all by himself. Compare that to the legends of Agham. Do you think Zevar stand a chance?"

Female Commander: "Are you talking about General Henos of the Agham Army?"

Teenage Commander: "Not just him. There are many mysterious legends surrounding Agham that humanity couldn't comprehend. Something far scarier than General Henos."

Commander 1: "Is there such a thing?"

Teenage Commander: "I've read it in the books. About 1700 years ago, the biggest and strongest titan in the world, The Earth Dragon, woke up from slumber and attacked Agham and it's used-to-be-capital city, Drageo City. A dragon that is so massive, people could see it's silhouette in the horizon from Agham all the way here in Tundrant. The dragon damaged the city severely that it could almost no longer recover from the event and it's the very same reason why it is no longer the capital of Agham. But the most fascinating part of the story is that the dragon was killed in a single flash attack and most of it's corpse is nowhere to be found. The only thing remains of it's existence are the scales and claws that were used to make magic artifacts and weapons. All of this happened 1500 years before Princess Kata was even born."

Commander 1: "You must have read one of those fairytales. None of that is real."

Teenage Commander: "All I'm trying to say is to prepare ourselves from the unexpected. We don't have any information of what our enemy is truly capable of."

Female Commander: "I have read a similar story in the Pheonix Scriptures. A prophecy about a hero knight who have slain an evil dragon."

Teenage Commander: "Are you sure it's a prophecy, not a legend?"

Female Commander: "I can't say for sure, the words they used are vague. Although most people say it's a prophecy."

Commander 1: "Funny how you believe in Fionism despite doing the exact opposite of what it says, Commander Vera. Our faith to Titan Dictum suits you more."

Vera: "No matter how widespread your religion is in our nation, I would never be a follower. Titan Dictum glorifies killing and other heinous acts. While I might be a warrior, I am still against all of those."

Commander 1: "Yeah sure." He laughs.

Insatara is a land of sand dunes and tropical jungles southeast of Agham consisting of divided kingdoms, but a violent king recently stepped-up and conquered all kingdoms ten years ago, unifying the nation.

Hostile King: "The opportunity arises finally. We can finally proceed to our next goal, conquering the whole Mahika."

Queen: "You're still on about this mission of yours? You know that Agham is an allied country of ours, right?"

King: "I never changed my mind, I only waited for the perfect time to carry out my plan. I am not like the rest of those pitiful kings who are satisfied to be a dog of those privileged bastards."

Ogonled is a small empire north of Agham. It is an empire in a frozen hell beyond the harshest fiery desert.

Emperor of Ogonled: "This will be our chance to turn our cruel fate around."

General: "The Insatara is joining the war as well, led by their new king. They probably thought of the same idea as ours. Since their situation isn't any different."

Emperor: "There is no doubt about it. The plague of White Bane has stricken their people as severe as ours. Agham had it coming. Closing off their trades just to hoard as much Giera roots for themselves as soon as they found out it can cure White Bane. Their greed couldn't be more obvious."

Back to Nisshoku.

General Akatsuki: "Prepare as much as you can, Sakal. No matter what you do your destiny is sealed."
