Chapter 7: Wedding Day

This day, precisely Saturday, was the day of transforming status for Airyn and Zavier. At the moment, Airyn had a professional stylist applying her make-up at her room and accompanied by Auntie Mina who was always there for her.

"Wow, you're so pretty... Young Master Zavier must be surprised when he sets his eyes on you. You've really turned gorgeous," said Auntie Mina, admiring her.

"You're too exaggerating, Auntie. I'm not so pretty." Airyn replied, smiling sheepishly.

"No, I'm not exaggerating, but that's the truth indeed." Auntie Mina retorted and made Airyn chuckle slightly.

"Thank you, Auntie." Airyn hugged Auntie Mina once she had her make-up done.

"Anytime, Miss. Well then, let's go now, I think madam is waiting in the lobby. It's said that the marriage ceremony will start at 8 o'clock, and it's already 7 past 15 minutes." Auntie Mina said, leading Airyn out of her room and hurried down to the lobby.

"Please, come in, Miss Airyn. Master and madam just left. And you're inquired to go directly to the venue right now." The driver said as he opened the door for her. Finally, Airyn got into the car, with Auntie Mina following behind her.

At the venue, Airyn was requested to wait in a certain room where the marriage ceremony and wedding reception will be held first as the groom has said the sacred sentence at the moment. When all the provisions had been completed, Airyn just came out of the room escorted by Auntie Mina to the room where the marriage ceremony was held. When she was escorted into the room, she caught the guests' attention as they were all stunned to set their eyes on her striking natural beauty. Once she took a seat beside Zavier, the priest instructed them to put a ring on each other's finger. Zavier then gave her a kiss in the forehead for a quite a while because they had officially become husband and wife.

Finally, the event was over, including the wedding reception. Currently Airyn and Zavier were in a hotel room. However, the situation was slightly different, as starting from tonight, they were requested to stay at the same room by their parents.

At the moment, Zavier was cleaning himself in the bathroom, while Airyn was struggling hard to unzip her wedding gown but it didn't work.

"My goodness! I really need help... it seems stucked." Airyn muttered quietly as she continued to unzip her gown that even made her hair stucked in the zipper.

"Akhh!!" Airyn whined as she tried to remove her stucked hair.

"Need help?" Zavier asked, standing in front of the bathroom and folding his arms in his broad chest.

"N—no need, I'll take a shower." Airyn replied nervously and rushed into the bathroom. Unexpectedly, when she stepped past Zavier before she reached the bathroom, her long dress tripped her. As a result, she was about to fall on the slippery bathroom floor. Zavier swiftly helped Airyn up and check on her condition.

"Are you okay?" He asked while helping Airyn to her feet.

"Y—yes, I'm fine. Sorry for the trouble," Airyn responded after standing to her feet with her head bowed. Zavier sighed heavily before unzipping her gown and releasing her hair from it.

"Thank you very much." Airyn said to him, while bowing her back like Korean and Japanese people were about to greet. Without saying anything, Zavier just walked out of the bathroom and closed the door.

'Airyn POV.

After taking a bath, it just came to my mind that I brought no clothes before moving to his room. Without thinking, I immediately put on the underwear I wore earlier and covered it with the available bathrobe. When I got out of the bathroom, I hesitantly approached him. While I was standing in front of Zavier who was focused with his cellphone, he looked up at me and deeply frowned.

"What?" He asked me in disbelief.

"Err, may I borrow your clothes for a while ... I need to get my clothes next door," I replied timidly.

"Just wear it for tonight. You can get your clothes tomorrow," he said and then focused back on his cellphone.

"But which one can I borrow?" I asked again so that I won't take the wrong one later.

"Whatever suit yourself," he replied without turning to me. I went straight to the small wardrobe in which his clothes were neatly arranged. I chose the sweater as it seemed it was like the only one that suited me, even though it went about to my thigh.

"I take this one, okay? Thank you," I said and received his confirming nod. I immediately went into the bathroom to put it on.

Author POV.

Zavier was focused on reading the thick biology book that he always carried with him whenever he went out. Unexpectedly, his focus was distracted when the bathroom door opened and revealed the figure of Airyn who had just come out wearing his sweater that looked oversized to her. He was confused, isn't their height not so much different? But why did it seem too big on her? He was just wondering.

When Airyn went to the bed to grab a pillow and bolster, Zavier frowned blankly. Once she was about to walk to the couch that was quite far from the bed, he abruptly held her hand.

"Eh, w—what's wrong?" Airyn asked, lowering her head. It made Zavier wondering why that girl always talked with her head down? Does he have such menacing face?

"Where are you going?" Zavier asked that made Airyn frown perplexedly before finally understood what he meant.

"I'll be sleeping on the couch," Airyn responded.

"Why?" He asked again.

"Why… what?" Airyn was bewildered.

Zavier tried to make it clear and said, "Why don't you sleep on the bed?"

"A—ah, it's okay, I just want to sleep on the couch," she replied timidly.

"Sleep here," he said, took the pillow and bolster, and went straight to the couch instead.

"S—sorry Zavier. Please let me sleep on the couch. You seem very tired." Hearing that, Zavier look at her face intently instead. He said to himself: 'Look at her. She was actually the one who seemd so distressed and exhausted, how could she tell me that?'

"Get some sleep. You're tired too," Zavier said that somehow made Airyn slightly blushed.

"T—thank you!" she replied. Then, she got on the bed and immediately laid down as she felt exhausted.
