A Secret Between Us

"I completely forgot," Zavier tweeted again. It was obvious on his face that Zaier deeply regretted what he had done earlier and that made Airyn his father.

Airyn moved down from her mattress and said, "Never mind. Now we should be getting ready to go to the beach, right?"

Zavier raised his face to return Airyn's gaze somberly. "But you're really okay, Airyn? Should we just go to the hospital to confirm the situation—"

"—Zavier!" interrupted Airyn. "I'm totally fine, trust me," she continued trying to reassure her husband.

Airyn nodded vigorously. His hand was now raised to pull Zavier for the man to get off the mattress, then pushed Zavier's back to get inside the bathroom.

"Now hurry up and take a shower. I don't want us to go for a walk in the middle of the beach during the day. It will be hot," Airyn babbled.

But while in the bathroom doorway, Zavier refrained from getting into it. And that certainly made Airyn wonder.
