" Sir, Sir!!", A man bellowed with all his might as some security guards restrained him at the foot of the reception desk
The man had a dirty face and seemed like he works in a factory or a place where getting dirty is inevitable. It was significantly challenging to see his features thanks to the state of his face but the depth of his voice and his volatile behavior puts him around the thirties margin . Plus he was arguably short.
The door ahead opened with so much rage and a group of nurses bolted out afterwards regurgitated somewhat pent-up anger
" Do you think this is your mother's latrine? Patients are here.. ", one middle-aged lady with a massive body erupted at him and the man got dangerously irate and tried even more furiously flee the guards that were clinging to him.
The structure of this clinic is like an inn. The main difference is that the clinic has three floors and is twice the size of a common inn.
There is a reception desk inn when entering though the doors. And then on each sides of the desk is a fleet of stairs leading to the other floors.
Away from the reception to the right side of the room ,are other outpatient stations. Specifically there are twelve such cubicles. On the left side is the waiting arena that is equipped with fifty benches, eight tables with water and snacks. This is for patients to buy and eat . The one for health workers is on the first floor and they have a separate room just for that.
He was persistent in his unwavering attempts for freedom but the three guards who were nearly twice his size held even firmer onto him.
" I want to talk to the manager!!", He shock the room his dread-filled voice while tears avalanched out of his eyes.
"Calm down, why are you acting so immature!!", The man at the receptionist questioned him with clear disgust. For someone who looks like a jig-saw puzzle arranged in a storm, he has the pride of a lion with whooping cough.
" My daughter is in there and I don't know how my mother is . I DEMAND TO SEE THEM ! ",
The guards continued to restrict him and another batch of doctors flew from the stairs towards him to hear what the commotion was all about. At the instant they arrived, the forward nurse was already describing his demands. She even went on to exaggerate and shamelessly change the story
" The inspector said not to let anyone into the room . No one not even us are allowed inside. Henceforth there is no one who can go in to identify the patients ", one male doctor the same size as the man explained sweetly. Though they are the same height, there is a seven year age gap in between.
" SO YOU ARE NOT EVEN TREATING THEM. OUR HOUSE HAD BLOOD EVERYWHERE .IF I LOSE MY FAMILY, I WILL TAKE ALL YOUR LIVES ", he barked yet the practitioners merely peered at each other. They felt so much sympathy for him and the situation they are putting him in especially since they are just spectators . despite his threats, all they heard was his aching heart.
But they can't do anything. An order came from the police and they ordered the whole clinic not to be anywhere near the culprits until they say it is safe to do so. They think that possession is possible but they are wrong since fiendish state isn't so sudden that from one moment someone is fine and the next they are acting like maniacs. It takes time.
Humans serve as food for both wolves and foxes , possessing one on a dismutual symbiotic basis would be a waste of energy since their core is infinitely weak.
The word possession can be bit misleading because there is no independent existence that flies to the host and invades their body. A move from body to body and the mechanism of adaptation is different from one organism to another. This means that the host could reject the invasion and might eventually die. Rather the host starts absorbing the negative energy and when it is great, that is when they commence acting rapid. But it's also the right word since it's because of the energy that the host starts acting insane. Just remember that the energy doesn't find the host but the host does so instead.
At the end of it all , what is possible is that the human starts sponging yin energy. But that is only through cultivation or else they may obliterate their core since they won't know who to safely distribute energy throughout their body. The humans in the room are unlikely to be possessed as they don't seem to be practicing cultivation. Therefore there is no need for the isolation that they are creating. Furthermore they won't find any clues on the bodies especially the old lady that is deceased.
Foxes are ghosts, like the air or shadows. One can see or feel them but they never leave traces of oneself anywhere . The deceased lady may provoke their objective of a possibility of finding the modus operandi but they won't be able to trace anything from her. As for the small child , maybe they might be able to describe what they saw if the trauma didn't render them brain-dead or induce some amnesia.
As they were through the argument, the detective team blast through the front doors and the head doctor welcomed them and told the place where the victims are kept. They completely ignored the restrained man but he yelled for them. One police man stared at him like he was a schizophrenic so they carried on walking
" Two are alive but the lady was already deceased when they came. The child has very little reaction and we fear that some irreversible damage has been done . But as for their son, he seems rather likely to recover.", He spoke and the head was even more interested in meeting this patient.
They climbed the stairs and went to the room that hosted Reed.
