Eric Yudhistira is a 16 year old teenager. He comes from a poor family and lives only with his father at this time. Eric's older brother named Rafael had died a few months ago due to an accident. Eric never knew where his real mother was. So, Eric joined in making money by working part-time, to help their family's economy.


Zarius Vassilias is a demon expelled from his own palace. Many demons hate Zarius. Due to a huge conspiracy, Zarius was executed by another demon and fled to the Human World. 

Despite having the appearance of a teenager, Zarius is actually hundreds of years old. And Zarius had come to the Human World before.

Zarius meets Eric in the Human World. However, Zarius lost his memory as a demon. Eric helps Zarius who is seriously injured and treats Zarius like his own brother.

The devil who hates Zarius turns Zarius into the Human World. The devil's name is Felius. Felius knew that Eric was an important human being to Zarius.

In fact, Zarius thought of Eric as his own little brother. So, Felius did something to Eric. Magie turns Eric into a werewolf and makes Eric think that Zarius is the mastermind behind his transformation. How would Zarius explain if he wasn't the one who turned Eric into a werewolf?

"So, it's true what Eric said before. He would never accept my presence and ask me not to try to replace Rafael's position. In fact, I myself don't know about the Rafael you guys are talking about. I didn't mean anything, let alone think about replacing Rafael."

What Zarius was discussing was when Eric Yudhistira branded Zarius as a 'useless burden' in.

Zarius understood everything the humans were saying, because someone was helping him. One of Zarius' underlings has opened the 'Seal of Language' on Zarius. However, it took Zarius time to understand all the words of the humans. Zarius only understood when Eric or Mr. Reno spoke in standard words to him. Other than that, Zarius didn't know what other words Eric had said to him. Zarius also doesn't understand the slang of the young people in the Human Realm.

Zarius blamed himself because maybe he was stupid and didn't understand it all. Zarius doesn't even remember his own identity. So, Zarius doesn't blame Eric when Eric uses a sentence that Zarius doesn't understand.

However, it's better not to understand than Zarius to be hurt to hear the ridicule, insults and all the gossip from Eric.

Zarius didn't think it would turn out like this. Zarius last night just needed a place to lean on, but Zarius was leaning on the wrong person. Zarius' backrest turned out to be more fragile than his. Mr. Reno can no longer be a place to lean on for Zarius.

Zarius didn't think of the worst case, that Eric Yudhistira's heart would be very hurt if he saw Mr. Reno closer or more affectionate to Zarius.

"I'm really sorry, Uncle! Say I'm sorry to Eric later, okay?"

Mr. Reno took the young man's hand and held it so that Zarius wouldn't blame himself for the regret. Mr. Rendi patted the back of Zarius' hand.

"It's okay, Son! It's not all your fault! If you're like this, you won't be able to become strong enough to survive in this cruel world. You have to be stronger than you are now, right?" Mr. Reno said softly.

Zarius nodded obediently like a child. It didn't matter if he had to walk the unfamiliar streets of this city. Zarius will do anything to get a place to stay. Even if it's in an orphanage. Zarius still needs to learn about life here. Zarius also needs to find the missing fragment of his memory, don't know where.

Mr. Reno stroked Zarius' hair lovingly. He had just seen the persistence of a child who wanted to find his identity like this. Mr. Reno also thinks that Zarius' family must be worried about Zarius too. But, that's if the young man still has a family.
