Broken Heart

"Could I see it?" asked Evans.

"Really? You want to see my daughter?" William asked.

"Yeah, I feel like I have to, William," Evans said.

"Please, Sir," William said as his hand motioned for Evans to enter a room.

Inside the room or room belonging to Selena lay a girl who was none other than Selena herself.

The girl didn't sleep and didn't move. Her eyes were blank, as if she was daydreaming.

"Honey," William called as he leaned closer to Selena's bed.

The girl didn't respond at all. Evans stared blankly at the girl. Is that the result of love? Would he and Andrea be like that if they parted?

"Sorry, Willam. Can I be alone with your daughter? I promise I won't be long," Evans said.

"Okay, Sir. I'd be very happy if Mr. Evans could cheer up poor Selena," William said.

"Thank you, Willam."

William then left Selena's room, leaving Evans and the child alone.
