Chapter 8: Exploring Tower Of Nine Heavens Facilities

Once inside, he felt that the atmosphere here was quite different from the outside.

He took out the Dragonia Fruit Seed and quickly sowed it. He didn't know how long it would take to grow, so he didn't wait around.

Lin Xiao inspected the Spiritual Garden briefly and found it was similar all around. Disinterested, he stepped out of the garden right after.

Without bothering with Qianxue, he moved towards his next destination.

His next destination was Pond of Life.

The Pond of Life has a circumference and depth of about 30m. The water in it seemed to sparkle with the shine of crystals, and it looked so pure and pristine, devoid of any pollutants. Lin Xiao could easily see the bottom of the pond.

"I should probably throw some fishes in there next time to see what happens." Lin Xiao mused.

As he came out, he saw Qianxue. He could see traces of vexation on her pretty face. Figuring he ignored her enough, he asked with a smile: "I am going to the Library next, wanna join?"

Qianxue nodded slightly after a moment of hesitance. She felt like she was being played.

They both reached the library after some time. The library building was massive, and it was spread around for hundreds of meters. The aura of ancientness permeated from it.

After looking around, they found out that the whole place was filled with books related to multiple branches, including cultivation techniques, medicine, alchemy, formation, cooking, blacksmithing, poison mastery, talisman mastery, inscriptions mastery, puppet making and much much more.

There were thousands upon thousands of books!

Even Qianxue, who has seen a lot, was shocked.

For now, Lin Xiao was solely interested in cultivation techniques. For the rest, he will slowly unravel them.

The whole library of cultivation techniques was divided into six layers, but they can only enter the first layer for now. All the techniques present here were of Mortal Level.

"Qianxue, let me guess, cultivation techniques are divided into six levels, aren't they?" Lin Xiao joined two and two and asked.

"Hum. Mortal Level, Earth Level, Heaven Level, Saint Level, Ancient Level and finally Divine Level."

"Do you want any techniques from here?" Lin Xiao asked courteously even though he knew the answer.

"No, you can choose." Sure enough, she declined.

Lin Xiao didn't mind it. He began roaming around in the library.

After almost an hour, he picked two techniques.

One of them was called 'Jade Destruction Hand' and another one was called 'Impotent Kick'.

He deliberately picked the Impotent Kick manual and asked Qianxue: "What do you think of this?"

Qianxue was sitting nearby with closed eyes when she heard Lin Xiao ask for her opinion. She opened her eyes and took a casual glance at the title of the book.

Seeing the words 'Impotent Kick', her lips twitched slightly. Without saying anything, she closed her eyes again.

"Seems like you like it, well then I'll practice it." Lin Xiao chuckled loudly and didn't bother her anymore.

After reading them briefly, Lin Xiao found that he could perform them quite easily.

The problem was that he still didn't know much about the basics of cultivation. He could only ask for help from Qianxue again.

"My queen Qianxue, can you please teach me about cultivation?" Lin Xiao went near Qianxue again and asked softly.

"Why?" Qianxue coldly asked.

"Come on, don't be so cold. How about this, you can use all the facilities here any way you want."

Qianxue replied while her eyes were still closed: "All Sacred Treasures live in their owner's sea of consciousness. Naturally, you are no exception. This queen happens to live there too. She can enter this place whenever she wants to."

Lin Xiao wanted to say that he could lock her out if he wanted to, but he figured it wouldn't lead to a fruitful discussion, instead a clash of egos. He looked at the situation from another angle and found a solution.

"How about this? Surely you want to recreate your body. If you teach me cultivation, in the future I can help you. What do you think of this?" Lin Xiao used his otaku brain again.

Qianxue has no change in expression, but internally, she was pretty shocked. She was about to put forward this condition since that was her intent from the start. She didn't expect Lin Xiao to be a step faster.

Her evaluation of Lin Xiao changed once more.

"Alright," Qianxue replied, a one-word answer and stood up.

Lin Xiao was pleased by her affirmation. Seeing her stand up, he deduced: "Cultivation room, I presume?"

Qianxue nodded slightly.

Lin Xiao has already learned the manuals by heart, so he put them back. They then left the library.

The cultivation tower was the tallest tower within the Tower of Nine Heavens. It was very tall and majestic. They both felt small when standing in front of it.

The inside of the tower was pretty clean and shiny. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere even though this place was billions of years old!

Lin Xiao touched the surface of the material used to build the wall and found it very sturdy. Even if he used every bit of his strength, he wouldn't be able to put on a dent in it.

They entered the first cultivation room they came across.

The room was ten feet wide and fifteen feet tall, and the walls here were even sturdier!

The room was completely empty. It looked like a simple room. The moment they stepped inside, though, their expression changed.

The Heaven and Earth Qi present inside were extremely pure and dense! Much more dense when compared to the outside.

It has to be noted that the Qi outside was already very pure and dense. Qianxue has said that the density there was comparable to 7th Tier Stars!

A thought entered Lin Xiao's mind. He asked Qianxue to follow him. Qianxue didn't protest this time. They headed straight to the 10th Room.

Contrary to the design of the tower, which was vertical, the rooms were horizontally laid. Even when squinting all the way, Lin Xiao couldn't see the end of the corridor.

Once they opened the 10th Room, a much further dense and pure Qi welcomed them.

"Definitely compared to Beginner Level 8th Tier Stars or maybe even Intermediate Level," Qianxue said before Lin Xiao could ask.

This confirmed Lin Xiao suspicions. The further he went down the corridor, the denser and purer Qi got!

This discovery put a smile on his face. With this, his cultivation speed would be extremely fast.

And since this was a dual cultivation oriented Sacred Treasure, that means he would have multiple partners and wives later on. This place would be helpful for them too!
