Chapter 14: Playing Around With Di Langyan

"You practice martial arts?" Langyan guessed.

"Close." He chuckled, not explaining anything.

"Come on, tell me." Langyan stood up from her seat and sat near him. She then leaned a bit towards him seductively, causing a wave of sweet fragrance to bombard his nostrils.

Langyan was very curious. From earlier fights, she could easily conclude that he was simply too powerful for those bodyguards. Just how does his average-looking frame hold that much strength?

"Do you really want to know?" Lin Xiao leaned towards her and whispered in her ears.

Like a frightened kitten whose tail got stepped on, Langyan jumped back after experiencing Lin Xiao's warm breath tickling her ears.

Even after blush started covering her face, she still nodded.

"Well, I do calligraphy and piano."

"Humph! If you don't want to expose, then don't say." Langyan pouted in annoyance, making her look even more lovely.

Suddenly, Lin Xiao's eyes narrowed. His whole body gyrated, he bent over seated Langyan, hovering over her youthful figure.

Langyan's heart pounded. Her breathing stagnated. His sudden action caught her completely off guard. She did go to tease him earlier, but she didn't expect this outcome.

In the private chamber, a weird spell was casted. Their face moved towards each other slowly.

Langyan felt Lin Xiao's breath hitting her face; strangely enough, she didn't hate it. An expectation arose from her pounding heart as she closed her eyes and pouted her lips lightly.

Knock! Knock!

Just as their lips were about to meet, the door was knocked from outside.

Langyan jolted upward, her lips touching Lin Xiao's, who was getting off. It was only a casual brush, but that sent shivers down her spine.

Lin Xiao smiled wryly and went to open the door. The waiters entered the room and put the food down one after another until half the table was filled.

During this time, Langyan has her head bent down. She doesn't dare look up. Crimson colour has covered her face, ear and neck! Her eyes were trembling. She didn't believe what had just happened! They kissed! It was her first! And it was amazing!

Even though it was somewhat sudden, she didn't hate it. Now, she doesn't know what her reply would be if Lin Xiao seriously asked her out!

'No! We only met this morning! If I agree, he will think of me as a loose woman! But to reject him… what if he gets angry…?' Her thoughts were in turmoil. She felt like Lin Xiao was like a tsunami. He came and made impossible waves in her heart.

At that moment, she felt someone knocking her head lightly. She looked up and saw Lin Xiao smiling at her. He said: "Don't overthink. Let's take it slow."

Hearing him say that, the turmoil in her heart slowed down. 'He is so mature….' She thought.

Just as she was about to say something, however, Lin Xiao closed their distance again abruptly. His lips were centimetres apart from hers. Her eyes widened as she heard him say: "Unless you don't want to…? Or unless… you want to take it faster?"

When she looked at his deep eyes at this moment, she couldn't reply. Her lips opened and closed, but her brain was blank. She couldn't find the words.

Lin Xiao simply chuckled and backed away. He then casually started setting plates and taking out dishes without minding her.

Langyan, who saw this, couldn't help but grit her pearly teeth. She wasn't stupid, and she knew that she was being played around with. She finally realised that she was sheep at the mercy of this big bad wolf called Lin Xiao.

She let go of her breath. Her tense muscles slowly relaxed. She felt like she experienced too many emotions in just one day. She shook her head and started eating too. But occasionally, her eyes couldn't help but travel towards Lin Xiao's face.

During lunch, they didn't speak anymore. Even when they went back to class, sat next to each other, no one spoke.

The classes ended. Di Langyan was the first one to run out of the class. She just wanted to go home, take a shower and calm her emotions.

Lin Xiao watched her depart with one corner of their lips lifted. Today, he discovered that he has a knack for teasing young school girls. 'Maybe school isn't as boring as I thought,' he thought.

He stood up and was about to go back to his little house when he remembered the appointment with Feng Wuya.

Sighing, he sauntered towards the office.

After arriving in front of the cabin, he knocked on the door. It was Feng Wuya's cabin. Only senior teachers have it in this school. She was only in her mid-twenties, so it was quite an achievement.

"Come in." Came the familiar cold toned voice.

Lin Xiao entered inside. The cabin was of fairly decent size. There was a working desk, a couple of chairs, and a small couch on the side.

Sitting behind the desk was Feng Wuya. She gave the feeling of an inflexible professional.

"Sit down." She gestured towards the chair opposite her desk.

Lin Xiao did as she said.

Feng Wuya instructed Lin Xiao to take out the question paper from the morning. After she gave a thorough look, she shifted her spectacles and asked him: "Be clear with me, Lin Xiao. How did you cheat?"

"Teacher, if my memory doesn't serve me wrong, then I remember you defending me this morning." Lin Xiao didn't mind her accusation and replied with a smile.

"I did. But then I checked your previous performance. You were barely getting passing grades."

To this, Lin Xiao shrugged his shoulders. "I just wasn't interested in studying before. Moreover, it was only this morning that I came to know that I was being transferred to Section E. How could I predict that you're going to take the test?"

Feng Wuya thought about it and nodded. Though, she still found it weird that someone who couldn't even get passing marks before would get excellent just because he decided to study!

"Alright, I believe you." She said that and took out a piece of paper. "But just to be sure, I want you to solve these questions in front of me. It's alright for you to decline. I won't force you."

Lin Xiao glanced over the paper and discovered that most of them were far above the high school level.

He took out a pen and started doing it. After twenty minutes, he passed it back.

"99 Marks." Feng Wuya was pleasantly surprised. She decided to make him take part in upcoming competitions from now on. And with this, all her suspicions vanished in thin air.

Any teacher would be happy to get an excellent student.

"Teacher, is that all?"

She looked up to him, cleared her throat to hide her excitement and said: "Yeah, you can go."

Lin Xiao nodded, stood up from the seat and went towards the door. Improving his relationship with Feng Wuya would take time. He wasn't in a hurry.

"Ugh!"

Just as he was about to open the door, a painful shriek sounded behind him.

He looked behind. Feng Wuya was clutching her breast with a painful look on her face. 'Is she having a heart attack?'

He hurriedly ran up to her.

Using his Qi, he inspected her inner body and found an abundance of YinQi stored on the left side of her left breast. Probably this was what caused her pain.

"It… hurts…!"

"Teacher, let me take a look." Lin Xiao forcefully pried away from her arms and then placed his palm on top of her breast. It was incredibly soft and pillowy, and he felt like his palm just naturally sunk in. But he didn't have time to enjoy it.

A spiral of Heaven and Earth Qi shot out from his palm, which then entered through the pores of her skin. Lin Xiao controlled his Qi and calmed the rampaging YinQi within her. Only then did her expression start alleviated.

Feng Wuya opened her eyes. She was aware of what had just happened. The pain was now completely gone!

"You… are a doctor?" She asked in shock.

"I know a little bit." Lin Xiao replied humbly, reluctantly pulled his hand away from her breast and then helped her stand up.
