Leave Of Absence (LoA) Codes
Q1 : What is an LoA?
A1 : LoA is a free writing pass that allows you to skip updating your novel 1.5k words for a day. It gets used automatically when you fail to meet the 1.5k words.
Example :
Day 1 - Update 1.5k words
Day 2 - Update 1k words only, LoA will be used at the end of the day
Q2 : How do I get an LoA?
A2 : By updating a novel 1.5 k words minimum daily for 2 months.
Scenario :
In June you update your novel 1.5 k words daily.
End of June, you receive a notification that says you obtained a LoA, which means you can skip a writing day in July without missing out on Win-Win.
Q3 : What is an LoA code?
A3 : LoA code is a code that grants writers 10x100 coins upon redemption.
Update : It is now 10 FPs.
Q4 : How do I get an LoA code?
A4 : By letting an LoA expire.
Scenario :
In June you update your novel 1.5 k words daily.
End of June, you receive a notification that says you obtained a LoA, which means you can skip a writing day in July without missing out on Win-Win.
In July you update your novel 1.5 k words daily without using LoA.
End of July, you are told that your LoA has expired. And also that you obtained another LoA.
Q5 : What happened after an LoA expired?
A5 : Congratulations, you are eligible to get a code! You will have to watch out for July LoA code.
In WN discord servers, there will be an announcement by WN that goes along this line :
"Hi,
The LOA Codes for July are now available! You may dm our Author Support Team Members for the codes if you qualify."
With the announcement, discord usernames of said Author Support Team Members will also be informed.
What do you do then? Just message them and they will give you the code.
The LoA code looks like this : ABC4YKHQYD2L56JZZ
Q6 : How do I redeem the LoA code?
A6 : You go to Profile - Redeem.
Enter the code and click redeem. Both accessible in laptop as well as phone.
Q7 : Wait why do I only get 100 coins? Didn't you say 10x100 coins?
A7 : You need to use 10 different accounts to redeem the same LoA code.
Q8 : I don't have 10 accounts! What can I do? ｡:ﾟ(;´∩`;)ﾟ:｡
A8 : Thou shalt not despair! You can swap codes with other authors! Or, you can give it out for free to your loyal readers!
Q9 : My LoA code is not giving coins anymore! What should I do???
A9 : March 2023, all LoA codes give 10 FPs instead of 10x100 coins.
