Myla is lost!

They didn't hesistate continuing the journey but as they were moving, they felt the ground shaking! And the next second, they were falling onto the ground!

Surprisingly, they were standing on a beast! After regaining balance, Arthur scanned it.

Name : Arid sand beetle

Classification : Red

Level : Low level

It was a long slim beast with many long tentacles from its head. It didn't hesistate attacking Arthur who was at the front with one of the tentacles but it was immediately cut off!

But to the surprise, it was replaced in no time! The tentacles came attacking them at once so everyone was battling with his own.

Arthur was in a wad of them, slashing them like they were butter but they would immediately be replaced.

Looking at his comrades, they were struggling so he had to think of a plan! He had calculated that they take about three seconds to be replaced. He had to use that to his advantage!

At this time, one had wrapped itself around Alex's spear throwing it away! He had no defence, so one wrapped around his body and squeezed! He felt his insides crushing, like it was piercing him hundred red hot needles!

He clenched his teeth and waggling to free himself but in vain!

Meanwhile, Arthur had increased his speed and agility slashing through all the tentacles in his way.

He used his speed to appear by its side thrusting his sword into its side of the belly.

He felt a flow of power inside his body rushing to his hand and into his sword. His sword lit purple all over a sudden but only him noticed.

The beetle felt like it's insides were burning on fire! It let go of all of them to flee! It instead wrapped it's tentacle around Arthur's leg as it sunk into the sand catching him off-guard! He found himself being pulled.

Myla was fast enough to slash the tentacle but wasn't fast enough to dodge the one that wrapped around her leg pulling her into the sand with it!

"No!" Arthur shouted. Everything happened in a flash that he failed to prevent it!

Myla was taken!

Arthur ran to the place he last saw her before sinking, calling. He felt lost! He felt hollow! He couldn't believe she sacrificed herself for him!

"Little! Little! Myla!" He shouted. He tried digging into the sand with his bare fingers to at least find a hole or something, but no to avail! He couldn't find a thing!

By this time, the others were by his side. All of them had witnessed what happened but couldn't do a thing to prevent it.

"Thur, let's go." Lex said softly.

"No, am not leaving without Myla! I have to find a way to get her!" He retorted standing up! Trying to look for any clues.

As Myla had just saved Arthur, she felt herself sinking! She fell as Sand came crushing to her as she slid through the so called sand tunnel.

She felt her head spinning after she came to a halt. Looking around, there she saw the beetle in great pain! It had a huge wound on its side and had only half of its tentacles, for some odd reason, they had stopped growing and it couldn't move.

Myla crawled to stand up, grabbing her sword and thrust it into the beetle to end it's pain and carved out the power stone placing it in a pouch around her waist.

She started looking around to find any clues whether she can go to the surface but couldn't, her entrance was full of sand and she could only continue through the tunnel.

She began Walking through the tunnel coming across gemstones as she kept them. All this while, she was looking for a stable network to somehow contact her friends.

The sand tunnels were created by sand beasts like beetles so she moved through them gently and steadily not to encounter a beast!

She stood at a certain high point of the path and managed to contact Arthur.

"Thur!" She was excited!

"Little is that you? Are you alright? Where are you?" He excitedly panicked.

"Mm, am in a sand tunnel trying to get out."

"Wait there! We are coming for you!" He said.

"No, am getting a way. According to my location, am near valley D on the map. Let's meet there!" She said and the call got disconnected.

"Myla! Myla!" Arthur called out hurriedly checking for valley D. He had to get there as soon as possible.

"Thur, was that her?" Alfred asked.

"Yes, we are heading to valley D!" He said.

They prepared themselves and took off. During the journey, Arthur was undeniably fast that they all couldn't keep up with him. He used his orange flexes completely forgetting about others as long as he saved her, everything would be fine!

This made Ellie have a good impression of him as their leader.

They moved through the desert and encountered other environments like hills, shrubs, Forests, plain fields.

As they were among the hills, Arthur heard something with his acute hearing! He immediately took off to it's direction leaving the others. They could not catch up to him.

There he saw a large army of wolf like beasts! This time, they had no horns and tails and their fur was black. They were as big as the one horn wolves but different.

He approached them staring directly at them with icy eyes making them unconsciously take a step back!

He didn't even use a detector or draw his swords but instead leapt in the air using the front ones as stepping Stones jumping to their center!

He was now in the center of an army of the black wolves! Jumping directly at him, they started attacking him but one by one would be flown with fatal blows at their center! The power stones would be gone! He had used his fists!

This is the scene Ellie, Lex and Al-al saw when they approached.

Wolves attacking the center and dead ones being flown away!

"Is that Thur?" Lex was at loss for words! How strong is he do to that without swords but bare fists!

"...." Ellie was the same that she couldn't utter a word!

"Let's go help!" Only Al-al could believe as he knew Arthur's identity.

But before they could join, no beast could move! He had slain them in cold blood and he only thought of them as distractors.

Myla could be in danger for any minute waste!He had many dangerous thoughts running through his mind.

What if Myla is hurt? What if she encountered a strong beast and end up being injured? What if...

He hadn't realized he cared about her this much! He had to find her!

He didn't even wait for his friends to ask questions but instead started moving and they followed quietly.

Myla was still looking for a way out through the tunnel, she had so far encountered two more beetles which she dealt with.

She reached a certain place whereshe found two separate ways heading to different directions.

After much hesitation, she took the left tunnel.

But to her surprise, she found many power stones on the walls lighting the place like it was paradise!

All the power stones produced a light blue light. She picked about 30 of them leaving hundreds. She followed the light and surprisingly, she found natural light! Not one of the power stones. She was finally out!

To her astonishment, she was no longer in a desert but a hilly area.

She immediately looked at the map to see the direction she had to take and started moving.

By sunset, Arthur's group had reached valley D. They scanned the perimeter for signs of Myla but she wasn't there!

They found a cave and decided to camp for the night. Though it was early to, they had to wait for her!

They sat on the stones they found but no one dared to utter a word seeing the Arthur's cold expression!

They were subconsciously scared by his gloomy cold expression!

He was impatiently tapping his finger on his thigh until he couldn't take it anymore! It was now dark!

Myla was nowhere to be seen! He abruptly stood up, scaring his friends. It was like they were with a hungry wolf!
