How dare that idiot redneck sell his share of the company? If he does, I can't keep my promise, I can't let him transfer his share to anyone else. I picked up my pendant, as if that would give me the courage to do what I had to. This company was mine and he couldn't do that. If he thought he was going to get rid of me so easily, he was dead wrong.
I drove my car as fast as I could. Where I knew there was no radar, I put my foot on the gas. I know I shouldn't walk like that, because an accident could happen, but I was completely desperate. If he left the company, I would have nothing. Desperate moments call for desperate measures.
I stopped my car in front of my mom's mansion, I needed to get something that was there. I just hoped she would let me in. I pressed the doorbell and the housekeeper answered.
"Sorry ma'am, but your entry is prohibited here."
Speaks seriously! My own mother barred my entry.
