Chapter 7

Prince Lucien's pov

"Answer me!!" I yelled.

He really need to tell who he is.

"Don't tell me you've become deaf all of a sudden!" I said, curtly.

"No....yes, I'm a Gem. A male Gem. Please don't tell anyone about this. I'm begging you." He clasped his hands together.

"A male Gem? I thought Gems are always females."

"Yeah. But....am the first male Gem." He stuttered.

"Male Gem? I should ask my father about this." I scoffed.

"Huh? No. Don't ask him about this. Let this be between me and you. Please am begging you." He pleaded again, crying like a baby.

Wow!

"Who's this rude person you're saving?" I asked .

His eyes searched mine.

"Hmm......I don't know the guy yet. Mom just told me he's rude."

"Really? You know am kind of suspecting you. Don't do anything stupid." I rolled my eyes as i warned him.

"Yea. I won't do any stupid. I promise." He pressed his lips together.

"Okay. Let's go back to the cafeteria." I finally said, breathing out.

We got to te cafeteria and ate our lunch together.

Something about him seems not to be right. He's really keeping something but that doesn't matter now.

We had more lessons and we closed for the day. Everyone went to their room and i did too. Same as Chris.

I saw Chris going into his room immediately he entered.

Is he okay?

I changed into something casual and lay on my bed with my phone right in my hand.

I unlocked it and browsed the internet.

A message popped in. It was from my mother.

'Lucien, you need to come home tomorrow.' I read the text.

'Why? Why do you want me in the palace?" I replied back.

"Son, you just have to come. No question."

I sighed and texted "okay"

Argh! Why do they need me in the palace?

I rolled my eyes at the phone and placed it on the bed.

Thinking of Chris, argh! He's always in my head almost everyday.

What's he keeping that am suspecting of?

I closed my eyes for a bit and opened them back again.

I just wanna sleep but i keep seeing Chris.

Oh goodness! Chris is just a boy.

I can't just be thinking so much about him like this.

Lucien, what's wrong with you?

I closed my eyes again and eventually force myself to sleep.

Christabel's pov

God! I nearly got caught by the prince.

How did he know am a Gem?

Obviously, he just must have heard my conversation with Nancy.

I just hope he won't suspect me as a girl.

Wait! How will he react when he finds out about me. The real me.

I'd be dead that day. I just need to finish this hell of a mission and get out of here.

But I will need to school here finally. I'd be graduating here.

The way he yelled at me made me so scared of him. I hope he won't tell his father just as he promised earlier.

If he do, big trouble Is surely coming for me.

I got up from the floor then lay on my bed. I was left with my singlet only and rolled the duvet on me and slept off.

Knock! Knock knock!

My eyes fluttered opened, hearing the knocking sound from the door.

"Who's that?" I asked in a hoarse voice.

"Who do you think will be at the door, if not me!" The prince said and I heaved a sigh.

I got down from the bed and went to the door.

I touched the knob then I remembered I had removed my shirt.

"Sh*t!" I cussed and ran to my bed then wore back the shirt before coming to open the door.

I saw the prince frowning. "What took you so long in opening the door?"

"I'm sorry."

"Whatever, just wanna tell you something and I need you right there."

"What's it?" I questioned.

"I will tell you later." He turned around to leave.

"I already toldmy father about you." He suddenly said.

What?

"Wha.....what did you just say my prince? You told your father already?" Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes.

"But I begged you. I begged you so hard." I sniffed.

"Oh shut up! I was just pulling your legs. I didn't tell my father anything. So be at peace" He rolled his eyes.

I batted my lashes. Jeez! He almost gave a heart attack.

"Thank you." I said.

"Whatever! You're coming with me to the palace tomorrow. I don't wanna go there alone." The prince sighed.

"The palace?"

F*ck!

"Yes. So, get ready tomorrow." He concluded and took a step forward.

"Don't act crazy there okay?" He said while I nodded my head.

"I won't act crazy." I replied.

"Good." He muttered and left the room.

I quickly locked the door, removed my cloth again and lay down on the bed and slept off before i knew it.

Next morning.......

I did all the chores before the prince could wake up, prepared bacon and Eggs for breakfast.

Placed the food on the table and went inside to bring bottle water and glass cups.

I went into my room, took my clothes as usual and a towel then went to take my bath.

I was done bathing, cleaned my body and wore my clothes in the bathroom.

I came out to see the prince already awake and was sitting on his bed. He yawned as soon as i stepped out of the bathroom.

"Good morning, my prince." I greeted, bowing.

"Yeah. Good morning." He glanced at the table which had bacon and eggs on.

"After school hours, we'd be going to the palace." He simply said and got down from the bed.

"Okay." I replied and walked back to my room.

I went to take my bag on the bed then my phone. I made sure my books are complete before going out of the room.

The prince was still bathing. I decided to eat my own breakfast and wait for the prince.

Wait for the prince?

So I could see his nakedness again?

Hell no.

I quickly got up from my seat, took my bag that was on the prince's bed.

I even have the gut to put my bag there.

My phone beeped and saw it was Nancy again.

"Babe, Good morning" I read.

This girl almost revealed my secret.

"Good morning. I'd call you later." I sent back.

The prince came out dripping wet. I don't wanna stare too much so he won't think I'm a gay again.

I bowed as he came close and I made a move to leave the room when my leg suddenly hit his leg.

But lost balance and I was about to fall when the prince grabbed me by my waist.

I looked up at him. He was smirking.

Wait did he do this on purpose?
