If you think she was born without crying, you're wrong. She cried. But, with a different reason. She's a girl, dating girls instead of boys. Prefers robots instead of cute plushies. Collects hatred instead of love. How old is she today? How many percent of good and evil in her? Is she actually a she or a he? Who knows..
She believed human nature was about caring and doing kind things to annoy others and get hated in the end. 
She emerges into the real human world, witnessed happiness, tragedy, friendship, and even betrayal so when she thinks she wasn't normal, ironically, normal is something more complex than she thought. 
So how exactly can she through this life between normal and opposite.

OPPOSITE

The next day, Demi introduced the new girl, Brie that she met yesterday to them and everyone was so shocked with how polite and sweet she was. 


“Laurel… are you related to Mr. Bran from Coffee Stop?” Maeve guessed. 


Brie turned to Maeve and smiled at her. 


“So, you know my brother?” She admitted. 


“I knew it! Yeah, I worked at his shop.” Maeve chirped. 


“Mr. Bran is your brother, Brie?!” Demi's seeking confirmation. 


“Yes,” Brie repeated with a smile. 


“So I should start being good to whoever that Bran-guy now, huh!” Shun suddenly blurted in. 


They all just give an annoyed expression. They knew it. 


For the rest of the day, Brie seems to be clinging to Shun since he treated her too well. 


“Hey, are you fine with it?” Suddenly Maeve grabbed Demi’s attention. 


“Brie seems to be too attached with Shun, are you okay with that?” She repeated her question. 


“Why shouldn’t I? Brie is our friend, right? I never intend to keep her as my friend only. That’s why I introduce her to you all… and it’s up to her if she wants to befriend with who.” Demi expressed. 


“I’m not talking about that,” Maeve opposed. 


“Stop playing dumb! Won’t you jealous or something if he ended up with that Brie?” She revealed. 


Demi gradually closed her eyes and sighed. 


“He’s not my boyfriend, and he is…” Demi paused. 


“He is what?” Maeve getting serious. 


“No, it’s an old story. He’s not my boyfriend and I’m not jealous.” She stated. 


“They looked good together, after all. Finally, someone can be that kind and sweet to him… I’m happy for him.” She continued with a smile on her lips. 


“But Shun is crazy casanova guy. What if Brie falls for him for real? Poor her.” Maeve concerned. 


“Nah, they’ll be good,” Demi assured. 


Maeve raise her brow for how confident she was. She was certain that Demi is jealous. 


“Well, then… I have to go first, I got club activity today.” Demi rose from the stair they sat. 


“Alright, see you then..” Maeve lifts her head still sitting. 


She too needs to get going to Coffee Stop.
