Karen.
I woke up in an empty bed and began to panic. Although Oscar had given me his word, I didn't know him well enough to trust him. For all I thought, he could be out there negotiating with the werewolves on how and when to hand me over. I didn't know what to do. The house was in the middle of nowhere. There was no way I could outrun the werewolves if I tried to escape. I had to hope that I could trust Oscar.
I went out of the room to find the kitchen. I hadn't eaten for over twenty-four hours, and all the anxiety and making out had gotten me quite hungry. When I got to the kitchen, I found a lady there. She introduced herself as Riley, and she seemed nice. Riley sat at the counter eating a sandwich.
" You are up?" she asked with a smile, and I nodded.
" Hungry?" She asked, and I said yes.
