"It wasn't as fun as I imagined it would be..."
The man spoke, lifting his head along with his cloak, shadowing his face a bit more than before. His deep voice amassed a thick and arousing rasp within.
"Killing a Hunter Monarch..."
He embarked with his words but paused.
"to be honest..."
he continued after a second of the hypothesis inside his mind.
"was pretty boring..."
.....
"Haha, what else can I expect from the strongest among us"
The old man shook his head with a chuckle as he replied to the cloaked man whose name was William.
William, with a chuckle, took off his hooded cloak and threw it to the ground. He then commenced his saunter towards the elevated podium and the old man.
His presence forced the kneeling people before him to tremble in fear, every step he propelled urged the shivering crowd to move out of his way as quickly as possible.
"Welcome Back To The Black Star!!"
The Old man raised his glass of wine which he held in his hand and gestured it to the young man who now walked towards him.
The Black Star was given birth to exactly 18 years ago, originating from the dark pasts of 2 men. The dark past of the man who had lost almost everything and of the man who stood on the dais, with his hood hanging behind his neck. The same wrinkled man who was now the supervising reverend of the cult.
The Cult principally concentrated on serving the Demon Lord and his 7 Demon Prince's. They believed that in doing so, they would receive the ultimate blessing, the boon of immortality, and unending prosperity from the lord of hell which the so called 'Almighty' had failed in doing so.
Bringing in followers to the Cult was easy for the masterminds because they only had to enunciate and express one single article.
The ignorance of the 'made believe' God during their former lives on the planet of Earth.
Bringing up some obvious questions and claiming to solve them to the depressed and discriminated part of the society, the cult was able to reach the stage it stood on now.
.....
The man called William flaunted his details as he strode towards the dais. The factors which distinguished him were faultlessly striking as of now because of the raised illumination.
His eyes were very sharp and crimson. The two stunning eyes of his seemed to carry immense pressure and experience behind them.
His red hair resembled the burning desire of the fire element, that held up the idiosyncrasy of devouring everything in its way.
A thick streak of red fiery hair fell over his right eyebrow which encompassed a piercing made out of adamantium.
His falling hair stopped right on top of his vision. The rest were slicked back to his head in a trendy manner.
His facial details were quite handsome, his eyebrows were sharp and striking, and a very thin horizontal scar ran its design past his nose bridge. His bottom lip possessed an adamantium piercing on its edge on the left.
His face was pretty young, young enough that it ascertained his age to be around the range of early to mid twenties.
.....
But that wasn't the only thing to his details which distinguished his extraordinary identity.
....
His posture substantiated his height to be around six foot three. His built was muscular and his body was chiseled to perfection.
The black sprayed open vest he equipped on his torso revealed his polished body.
The luminous, crackling lights from the torches bounced off his perfectly tanned body and the eight pack abs he amassed were more like the buttons which were usually comprised on keypads.
His polished torso hauled three staggering scars. One which ran straight from the advent of his rib cage until it reached above his belly button.
The other two massive scars bisected the straight one equally at the same angle and the same point in such a way that If their edges connected it would've formed a hexagram.
....
...
Two diagonal scars ran their composition on his back forming the symbol of an 'X'.
A single oblique scar, ascending to the left, ran behind his lower left side just above the hips and stopped 2 centimeters before it reached the black jeans he was donned in.
But the scars which performed an X symbol on his back was perfectly jointed and tattooed in such a way that it portrayed the devil's pentagram symbol, which was believed to be one of the most wicked symbols in occult terms.
His biceps were perfectly bulky and hard at the same time. But they weren't gross to look at like most of the body builder's biceps which only carried mass and size instead of strength. Both of his arms had a scar dash through them.
Instead, anyone would have fallen in love with how perfectly William's biceps were mustered.
Only his appearance on the outside was enough to prove his physical ability and the time he spent on training and building up his physique.
Even though the training and reps he performed were a lot more different than what normal humans did, the results were much better.
It was nothing special... Just some casual killing here and there...
....
....
....
Yes. The only training that William did and does, was and is Combat training and cold blooded murder... more like aggressive assassination.
Overall, he would've been the perfect body model... for the theme of the apocalypse.
...
His combat boots crunched the little stones on the ground and left them crumbled and powdered as he lifted his powerful legs.
Ten... Ten of his footsteps echoed as he reached the old man on the elevated platform.
"William 'Will' Watts... Hehe, The strongest member of The Black Star... I welcome you back once again. How was your mission?"
The Old man rested his hands on the table and spoke to the young man before him.
William Watts shot a cold stare at the old man as he narrowed his two majestic apertures.
"I was bored, so I wanted a good fight... stop meddling with me and mind your own business. You pathetic old man..."
William replied with a scowl and stepped on the altar.
"Oh? Then what's this?"
The old man pulled a sheet of paper out of the denizens of scrolls laid around on the table.
William shot a glance towards him and the power and quickly turned around.
"I don't know what that is..."
He replied.
"William, William, William"
The Old man, shook his head as he slowly paced towards the tall, stout man.
"Another poor girl asked you to take revenge for her?... This is why I said you must refrain from traveling around the country. You are not a knight in shining armor or a righteous rogue who helps the people in need. You are THE STRONGEST BLACK STAR MEMBER!!..."
The Old Man shouted.
"..."
"You were selected by one of THE SEVEN DEMON PRINCE'S. YOU ARE A DEMON YOURSELF!!."
The Old man announced at his voice's top.
".....So what?"
William replied, his glare which left his glinting red eyes halted the old man from walking for a second.
"Haizz…."
The Old geezer sighed.
"If you are possessed by a demon... you must do evil deeds to feed its craving. If you feed it well, it strengthens you as well. Why don't you understand that William?. What Mammon represents is Avarice, Greed!!. You need to bring out that sin to make yourself stronger."
"I'll get STRONGER MYSELF!!"
William roared at the reverend as he stomped on the altar.
Reacting to his stomp, the entire edifice shook and trembled under his clamor.
"Can't you still get over that incident?"
The Old man dropped his voice as he spoke, he reached William and placed his hands on his shoulders but was soon denied as William shook it off.
"What do you mean. I'm perfectly okay"
William replied, his voice came out deep but calm. He gave no eyes to the old man as he walked off in the opposite direction, in the direction to his room.
"I do know the reason why you travel looking for tormented people..."
William halted his steps as he heard the reverend speak behind him.
"You are striving to become Zerek... aren't you?"
William's eyes went wide for a second as the old man spoke but he did not utter a word.
"....."
"William Watts!!"
"The one possessed by MAMMON!!"
The Old Man proclaimed.
"..."
"You are trying to continue that secret legacy of our previous leader... aren't you?"
"Do you realize Will?... That you are trying to copy 'The Copy Phantom' himself??"
.....
