We caught the bus home that night. The guys went through every possible scenario that could come from the raid and the police being involved. No one wanted to close up shop. They hadn't found anything at the club house. No money, no guns and no drugs. They had been to Reese's house to, and found nothing there. This was a purely circumstantial case. They had nothing, but they would be watching us now. I knew that much and that meant we had to be careful and I had to get Christian out of jail.
I had no idea how to do that. If there was a bond I would pay it in a heartbeat. I wanted to get a lawyer, there was no way I would have a public defender. When my mom's old man went to jail, she got him a lawyer. He was facing a lot of time, but it had been knocked down to five years, with probation after three years.
