His blood is pure lycan and he is feared and respected from wolves and humans all over the world. He is very capable and powerful leader and the most probable candidate as the next King of the wolves. For years and years he was working in order to gain a nomination for the King's throne. He doesn't care about a mate that's why he didn't look for her all these years. When he establishes the King's position he will make Luna the most powerful she wolf of his pack.
Adelina is a 22 year old werewolf, daughter of the Alpha of the Crescent Moon pack, a small pack in North America. She studies economics and is the most favorite child of her father's. 
What happens when Maximus Drako the most fearful Alpha finds out his mate in a routine visit in a some small pack? Will he accept her as his mate or is he going to reject her just because of her status?

False Expectations

The roar I heard a few minutes ago did not belong to anyone other than Maximus. He was here! I just couldn't believe it! He really came for me this time! Several minutes ago I felt alone weak and helpless and I thought I was going to die and now Maximus came out of the blue to save me. 


-"Put her down Nicolas!" Μaximus shouted from afar. 


-"Oh your Highness what a pleasure to have you. Although I didn't expect you, be absolutely sure that I will serve you in the best way I can. A way worthy of a king! But please allow me first to take care of your beautiful mate" Nicolas said ironically. 


-"This is between you and me. Let Adelina go" Maximus reasoned. 


-"Or else what?" Nicolas asked arrogantly. 


-"Don't mess with me Nicolas. You know what I am capable of" he threatened. 


-"Oh I am so afraid right now....." he said ironically. 


-"Don't you forget something my King? What about the Council?"
