Our story begins with Elric's birth and the siege of his homeland and follows his escape to an unknown land in his mother's arms. Were he is given into the care of a kind old man an quickly grows into a budding hero.

With the coffee working its own form of magic, Queen Jade Thorn Rose was able to get her people to see that the outside world was not something to fear or hate, even if only a little before she had to leave for the official gathering of kings and envoys. Elric did exactly as he said, and came to get her two hours before the scheduled start of the second official gathering. He truly did come get her at a time that would see that she was gone the least amount of time possible.
