Our story begins with Elric's birth and the siege of his homeland and follows his escape to an unknown land in his mother's arms. Were he is given into the care of a kind old man an quickly grows into a budding hero.

One the fourth day of the third week following the funeral for King Woden Ironskin and King Duar Ironskin, Aalis was in a slightly cheerful mood as the students of the academy started filling into the potion making lecture hall. She had just came to understand that she was with child again two days prior. The news that she was once again expected lifted the mood of everyone of the members of the imperial family to some degree. 


She had already agreed to teach today's lesson on making healing potions when classes resumed for the year. While she was not the expert her mother-in-law Ciara was, she enjoyed making potions in her spare time. Her daughters were amungst the students she was going to be teaching, making her even more excited about giving the lesson. It also freed up Ciara and the other potion making instructor. Ciara had been begging for a day alone with her youngest granddaughter Tatiana.
