Ch. 572 History in the making

With many of the wedding guests arriving early, or perhaps they truly came to watch the treaty signing ceremony, there were more than a hundred noble and royal witnesses to the signing of the official treaty between the dwarven and elven kingdoms.

When the contents of the treaty were read aloud by King Zul nar Drizar prior to the actual signing by the Kings, more than one gasp was heard from those gathered to witness the signing. They were taken back by how detailed it was, going as far as to appoint two ministers with the sole duty of working together to resolve any issues that came to be between the two kingdoms. But the most shocking line of all was the one that stated that they would consider signing a mutual protection pack five years from the date of the treaty's signing, and that even a marriage alliance was within the realm of possibilities.
