Our story begins with Elric's birth and the siege of his homeland and follows his escape to an unknown land in his mother's arms. Were he is given into the care of a kind old man an quickly grows into a budding hero.

Two hours after dawn Elric was proven right. Nightshade Primrose had let Tanner Willowleaf win the moving targets competition, and she did so blatantly. She deliberately missed the final target striking the wooden railing it was pulled across by ropes instead, after he had hit it dead center three seconds before. 


Elric's announcement of the prize he had won said that what he was going to give him could in no way compare to the "real prize" he had won. An as if pre-planned with the emperor, the moment that those words left his lips, Nightshade Primrose sealed the lips of Tanner Willowleaf with a kiss. 


"Remember to invite me to the wedding." 


The emperor's words made Nightshade Primrose's ears take on a shade of crimson, quite a feat for a shadow mist elf, proving undeniable proof of her embarrassment. She ran off dragging Tanner Willowleaf by the hand.
