"Angel, I have a little treat for you," Mad said, retrieving something from his bag.
I raise an eyebrow, staying mute while watching Maddox. The anticipation is killing me when he refuses to show it up.
"What?" I impatiently asked.
"Close your eyes."
"Nah, do I have to? It's just the two of us; I'm excited to see it," I complained.
"Yeah, you need to close your eyes."
"Fine" I closed my eyes impatiently. "Make it fast."
Silence follows for a few moments. "You may open your eyes now."
I slowly open my eyes and startle to see the chocolates arranged into a bouquet. How did it fit in his bag? I check on his duffel bag; it's pretty big, though.
"Mad, it's beautiful. But how did it fit in your bag?"
Maddox laughs as I take the bouquet of chocolates. "I left my clothes in the locker and replaced the chocolates. The chocolate has a cover, so it's clean. I had it delivered; it arrived after I had a shower. I'm glad you liked it. Try it."
