“Why can’t we talk about that now?” Davis asked.

“One, you guys just returned. Two, Anna, the boss's wife just returned and he wants to spend some time with her. Three, his wife is his mate,” James clarified for Davis.

“Mate? As in his other half, the one and only, Anna is his only mate?” Davis asked.

“Yes, Anna is his only mate,” Michael repeated his words.
